WHAT IS SLEEPER?

Built like a messenger app, Sleeper launched in 2014 as a place to chat about Fantasy games. Their initial US leagues debuted in 2017 and they’ve now decided to branch into football with some exciting Premier League and La Liga contests.

Pride is taken in its design, aided by initially hiring a bunch of casual fans and first-time Fantasy players to bring out-of-the-box ideas that created a less intimidating interface for new players. And this seems to have worked, as Sleeper continues to gain popularity.

What is Sleeper + how can you join our free Pick'em league? 1

At Scout, our core staff will be playing their Fantasy FC draft game too.

It’s a visually pleasing experience, where the draft order (Snake, Linear or Auction), time per pick and bench size are customised beforehand.

You can even edit the points-scoring system! Try using its chat feature to reach a group decision on whether to keep Fantasy Premier League (FPL) scoring, or add rewards for interceptions, dribbles, shots on target etc.

Post-draft, a waiver system allows unselected players to be acquired and starting line-ups can be adjusted as each Matchday progresses. This is ideal for any surprise player absences.

FPL Marc Broadcaster, writer and overthinker. Hoping that ‘differential potential’ will catch on.

People on here saying Fulham are a bogey team for Man Utd based on one result last season…
In reality Man Utd have won 7 of last 9 (results since Fulham returned to Prem) and won the previous 4 consecutively before Fulham’s one victory which appears to be an anomaly.

2023/24 - They beat us last season and we haven't really improved since then.
2022/23 - We could have been 2-0 down after 25 mins if Mitrovic hadn't missed a pen. We also needed 2 red cards to beat them in the FA Cup game before that.
      2021/22 - N/A
      2020/21 - Drew 1-1

You have to go back to 2018 before you find a match where we beat them convincingly (a season where they got relegated) so I think it's fair to say that they give us a hard time at Old Trafford.

      1. LangerznMash

You also have to go all the way back to 2009 for the last time Man Utd didn’t score at least one goal against Fulham so always a good fixture for attack returns.

No it isn’t. But neither is a team that have only won 1 of the last 7 matches 😀
Fulham are not a bogey team for Man Utd = fact.

I mean sure if you want to look at it in a completely reductive and contextless way.

You can put as much additional context as you like and type up full match reports if you want. It doesn’t change the fact that Man Utd have won the vast majority of recent matches against Fulham, meaning they aren’t a bogey team. End of the day Man Utd usually get the job done one way or another, and we can expect the same to happen again tonight.

How do you think I could squeeze Gabriel in here?

    A) Downgrade Solanke to Muniz and do Quansah to Gabriel
    B) Downgrade Gordon/Jota to a 6.5 and Rogers to a 4.5
