Captaincy next week not quite as straightforward as this week.

    A) Saka vs BRI

    C) Watkins vs lei

True, and he probably will get points. But I guarantee you that there are Rogers owners saying to themselves, if he doesn't return next week he is out. You are thinking the opposite. I bet loads are selling him today also. Where is he on fplstats?

Ah thats not bad actually. I don't think casuals own him tbh, only seasoned players, who know he played well so they are keeping. I don't think he is a bad pick, but it is risky. What I said above would concern me, I'd rather wait to see him return first, but my team is fine so I would say that.

I'm not that interested in Muniz. I know his underlying stats are good, but two 2s is kinda meh. At least with Welbeck, I can guarantee like 2 rises this week. If he doesn't play next week, then I can easily sell. Plus I already have ESR so I don't want to overinvest in Fulham.

Oh yeah Daniel Nii Tackie Mensah Welbeck has always had dodgy minutes, but he's had 21 starts for the last 2 seasons, so he should be a decent choice in the short term.

Obviously Solanke might be back next week, but I don't want to eat the drops to find out. I'll get Solanke later if he starts to do well.

I’m struggling with the same dilemma.

I’m leaving to Wissa but is he at risk?

      1. SalahFingers
        • 7 Years

Welbeck was always a risky.. with injuries or maybe fitness, he rarely finishes a full season playing almost all the games.

However, he played 29 games last season with Brighton, 31 the year before, 25 and 24 the years before that.

So, he should at least play most if he can stay fit.

Wissa looks good. Especially versus Southampton, but then Man City and Spurs the week after. I doubt he's at risk. He played most games in the past 3 seasons, so I don't see why that would change, especially as he's already scored 1 goal and 1 assist in only 1 game so far.

I’ve just done it! Didn’t want to lose the value on Solanke - my thoughts was he usually scores against his old teams and then has a good run after that

      1. SalahFingers

Welbeck has played 10 times against Arsenal

        4 goals, 1 assist, 1 yellow card.

He has played 16 times against Man Utd

        6 goals, 1 assist.

I think he's fine against old clubs, and Brighton are playing really well right now. Only Man City have scored more goals, so I think it's a decent choice.

        Sensible.
Unsure if say, you buy Watkins, he drops in value by 0.1. and then does well so in coming weeks, he rises in price. Do you get back to initial price you bought normally or does that still take two prices rises to go back

If Solanke drops by 0.1 he needs Watkins to drop by 0.1 to not have 0.1 less than starting budget

    What do I do here
Gvardiol Robinson.... then Mykolenko Quansah Barco .... sigh

O.0 in the bank and 1 ft, Barco can stay for the time being I suppose, Quansah 4.4m can only go to a 4m player and Mykolenko could go to a 4.5m player, but i'd be surprised if he didn't drop soon. Which player should I prioritise getting rid of and for who?? Thanks

Yeah definitely Myko before he drops , don't want to have two 4.4's with Barco, maybe to Konsa

After a 4.5 def before price rises. Looking at villa. Digine or Konsa?

I know Digne has started the last two but with Maatsen lurking I’d go for Konsa

Sell Solanke for Joao Pedro tonight to avoid Solanke’s price drop?

Pedro would go first bench for GW3 then I’d have him in place for Brighton’s nice run.

    1FT 0.0ITB
    Raya
    Gvardiol Robinson Konsa
    Saka Jota Gordon ESR Rogers
    Haaland Isak

    4.0 Solanke* Munoz Barco**

    Cheers!

Rip up the team to get Haaland in or suck it up and hope other players make up for not having him every week?

Haaland will give consistent points, but costs a lot.

So, the question is more if your upgrades elsewhere will make up for the points. I would say no so far since he has 4 goals in 2 games, but he's unlikely to do that all the time so who knows.

Saka, Salah, Son all doing well too, so might be better to have Saka + Son for 20 mill instead of Haaland + 5.0. When you put it that way, Saka and Son probably look better, but then Rogers for 5 mill for Villa looks worth it.

Yes, the issue with Saka and Son is that it is C Haaland + Rogers vs (C) Saka + (C)Son. And suddenly C Haaland feels better.

If you didn't rip up the team before GW2 for Haaland there is no point now unless on WC

Question is if you dont have haaland, whom are you captaining and what are you doing with that budget. Haaland in or out both works

Planned to roll for 3 weeks +, thankfully, the first 2 weeks (so far) are giving me the confidence to carry on with it.

    Raya
    Gabriel Robinson Trent
    Saka Jota Gordon ESR
    Haaland C, Isak, Wood

    Fabianski, Hall, Winks, Barco

Unless there’s injuries tomorrow, rolling FT no 3, on 150 points with 4 tomorrow so not chasing it or knee jerking.

Thanks, tempted to lose Gordon but Spurs tend to struggle at SJP so might as well just give it another week.

He could bang tomorrow then it’s a lot easier to not think about him.

Leno is 5. Personally don’t think it’s worth moving Henderson out yet unless it’s for Raya or Martinez.

I think I agree. There are some decent fixtures coming. Getting Raya feels like worth doing, but for me it means Haaland out if I want Watkins for example.
