Any thoughts on my WC appreciated:

    Sanchez

    Robinson Trent Robertson Dunk

    Salah Eze Semenyo

    Pedro Haaland Havertz

    Subs: Fabianski Mbuemo Winks Mosq

Trying to balance the short with the long and bank a few transfers after a rocky start. Would love Palmer but want double Liverpool at the back and prefer Havertz and Mbeumo

Wood to JP (Saka to Salah for free next week or this week for -4) and stick (2.5ITB)?
Tempted by WC but probably should wait until GW6?

    Henderson
    TAA/Konsa/Robinson
    Saka/Jota/ESR/Rogers
    Haaland(c)/Isak/JP*

    Bentley/Murphy/Gabriel/Johnson

Why? Window is closed, so you will not find replecement for him. Even with Ugarte arrival ManU needs bodies in the middle of the park. Casemiro can be usefull in cups or Europa League. Parting ways with him would make more sense in January.

I'd rather play anyone there mate. He gave the ball away 13 times in 45 mins! Colleyer could get some practice instead at least! 350,000 a week off the wage bill gets you another signing in January anyway if you need one, like telling Osimhen to cancel his loan deal and come to Old Trafford instead haha.

I would let Eriksen go on a free anywhere he likes and I'd put Casemiro, Rashford and Onana officially on the transfer list. See if they have the minerals. Onana it's not his fault, he's just a bad goalkeeper.

Perhaps just play Dalot and Mazraoui even when Shaw is fit. If he can prove he's been fit and unused since September maybe we can get rid in Jan!

I think he's quality. Not sure you do, unless you are just changing opinions just for fun. Nobody will buy him. So just hope. too much hoping something works out at United at the moment. I was thinking the other day it might be worth changing the manager just so Onana can be sold.

I'd rather Pellestri had stayed than Antony. You have to look at that situation from a financial perspective though. I'd rather sell him for £25m like Sancho and move on, but that's probably going to be bad for PSR with the amortisation. I'd estimate they'd need around £45m for him to avoid the PSR hit.

Rico Lewis the most transferred in defender. Gonna be a lot of disappointed people when Walker comes back in the team next time out.

None of the City players to have played in the Euro 2024 final (Walker, Stones, Foden, Rodri) have started a game yet after getting extra time off. 1 point cameos beckon for Lewis after the internationals. Last season there were several instances of Pep using Walker in the PL and Lewis in the CL.

      Points chasing, not worth -8.

TAA and Jota may both score very well in the upcoming LFC fixtures, Watkins is tricky but I think it will only take a goal to open the floodgates and the fixtures look great.

If Foden goes down to 9.3m or lower I think he'll be one of the best value players in the game come GW7. I already think he's at least 0.5m underpriced. Probably 1m considering his last season.

The fact he hasn't started yet is really good for keeping him under the radar, the fixtures turn in GW7, and the clamor for Liverpool and Arsenal assets before then will also mean he'll get overlooked.

I think there's a case for WC7 not 6 and then you go triple City with Haaland, Foden, Lewis (ideally, Gvardiol if not).

That's the good thing. He has 3 weeks to show you. By the time you'll want to buy, he'll have had a few tougher games to get up to speed. Everyone wants Liverpool in 5, Arsenal in 6. Very few teams will have a spot for 9.3m Foden by GW7.

            • 15 Years

I agree with you he's underpriced. I assume because he doesn't have pens and perhaps a lingering threat of Pep Routlette. I'm getting him as soon as he starts a game, lovely stuff.

I had this dilemma last week and chose to roll for Salah.

So I'd recommend roll for Salah as well. Just saw a stat that Saka's favorite opponent is actually Spurs. So think he's arguably a better asset than Palmer this week.

Thoughts on this WC team? Chasing some form players at the minute but got scope to improve MID/ATT with dropping just one premium (Salah -> Jota or Palmer ->Eze etc)

    Alisson (Fabianski)
    Lewis Digne Colwill (Faes,Keane)
    Salah Saka Palmer Adama Semenyo
    Haaland JP (4.5)

Wouldn't touch Chelsea defense and you have two players that are at risk of rotation - Lewis (Walker) and Digne (Maatsen). Keane will also be on the bench when Braithwaite returns. Would rather go with Raya in goal and Liverpool defender - TAA or Robertson. And me personally wouldn't want to play Adama (Traore?) every week.

      1. humar816

Yeah im not too worried about the 4.5m defenders, can switch them on form. Will swap Alisson to Raya at some point when Liverpools fixtures take a turn.

Options at 5.0m for a midfielder are tricky but I think having the 4 premiums plus a couple big teams at the back makes for guaranteed points, not expecting anything from Adama but cant find the 0.1m to get Rogers in!

Surely Saka + Palmer plus someone else getting 2 points every week would guarantee more points than say 3 midfielders at 7-7.5m over the course of a 6-8 game window. Also having Liverpool/Arsenal in goal plus a City defender is as close to guaranteed CS points you can get?

Not trying to come across like an arse. I play non football fantasy games and I don't think any of them you can just grab all the premiums early. There's an element of getting enough of the correct under priced mid players early to have the team value power later while also scoring enough points

Fair enough you've defos got a point, its not my regular tactic to have so many premiums in but just feels difficult to go without any at the moment haha. I've played my WC so just toying with different options and thought processes, got a feeling I will definitely drop 1 to get some Mid players in but still early days.

I would downgrade one of Saka or Palmer and use money to make more balanced team. Would like to have one premium defender and better rotation - 4th and 5th mid or 3rd fwd (Eze, Mbueumo, Minteh, Rogers, ...)

Drop Adama, move money to defense and play 442. Get rotation risk free 4.5 defence. Digne to konsa, colwill to Dunk, keane to Robinson.

Could be but these two should be best options. Palmer or KDB will become Saka after two weeks and i'll downgrade striker to afford Saka. It's a Salah & Haaland wc draft so budget is tight

If anyone posts a player on a RMT containing anyone who isn't in the template bubble, they get ridiculed.

For 5 Bounanotte is a good pick. Good fixtures, good cheap player

It's got to be the midfield maverick El Khannouss.

Which WC squad do you prefer?

Option A has all the big hitters but a clearly weak defence. Option B has a stronger defence with TAA but no Palmer - but would Palmer not be a better long term option than TAA?

    A)
    Raya (Fabianski)
    Robinson - Konsa - Mazraoui (4.0, 4.0)
    Palmer - Salah - Saka - Semenyo - Rogers
    Haaland - Pedro - (4.5)

    B)
    Raya (Fabianski)
TAA - Lewis - Robinson - Konsa (Mazraoui)
Palmer - Salah - Mbuemo - Semenyo (Winks)
    Haaland - Pedro - (4.5)
