Salah, Haaland & go from there.

Saka, Palmer, Mbeumo, Trent, Gabriel, Robinson various permutations, Foden/Watkins & few others yet to enter the room.

If now, Salah, Haaland, Saka, TAA. Palmer possibly too. Thats why Im not. Need a couple of horses to drop out of the race first so I can get a bit more balance in my squad.

Very comprehensive - thanks Neale. Might have to start Saliba ahead of Gabriel. Annoying too that Joao Pedro got called up late.

Cheers Panda. Gabriel will be OK I'm sure, what with the NLD being on the Sunday (and I doubt Arteta would rotate for that anyway). Slightly more worried about Pedro after that late call-up, I thought we were home-free with him!

If I get a headache it's usually more of a volume issue than what I'm drinking. The German beers have to adhere to the purity laws so teachnically the hangover shouldn't be as bad. Some of them have a high volume of alcohol in them compared to lagers though so six pints of Weissbier would be more likely to give you a hangover than 6 pints of lager.

      Oh dear oh dear.
Madri is as Spanish as Carling...which it probably is.

Madri from Madrid they say, you'll never see it in Madrid because it didn't exist until a few years back and is a result of the way the big brewers treat product these days.
It's a marketing departments idea and a con in the true sense of the word.
Made in England which makes list null & void in my book.

Question about the new WC + FT interaction. If I hold 3 FTs when I WC, would I hold 4FT the week after? 3 rolled and 1 newly earned.

If yes, wouldn’t I always have at least 2 FTs the GW after WC?

This sounds off to me. Hoping someone could correct me.

    1. BUZZBOMB ♡
      • 10 Years

If you have 3 FTs in the bank, then play your WC GW4, you will have 3 FTs in GW5. Your GW3 WC is effectively your TF that week.

Rogers perhaps. But Davis I was rolling on the upside. Realistically Ipswich got no chance of a sheet and unlikely to score

Arsenal ok chance of a sheet and perhaps just as much chance of Gabriel attacking v Davis

Maybe one day. We were in the CL final not so long ago.

Pretty much every major club in the world can be jealous of Spurs financials and its stadium. Those are the building blocks for success. Spurs can only get stronger. Where as Chelsea is moving backwards.

Your attack is limp. Of your top 8 point scorers so far only 2 are actual attackers. Only 2 of your 5 goals have been scored by an actual attacker. Still moaning about Kane's departure I guess. What a sorry mess.

Didn't see it so can't comment on the general run of play. But a stoppage time pen just smacks of naivety which you'd hope has been drilled out of players playing at international level.

Nah, he's got more. Would be nice to see him shut up the Irish boos. He played well against the Hammers I think. City need the big squad and he's definitely in it.

Should’ve flogged him over the summer to the Saudis. Not that there was likely any interest.

On a WC and could use some advice please?

Current team is....Fodder on the bench.

    Raya

    Mazraoui, VDV, Pau, Lewis

    Salah, Eze, Palmer

    Pedro, Haaland, Isak

The defence is crap right? Would you downgrade Isak to Havertz to free up money for Lewis to Robertson maybe? Or Eze to Semenyo? Any advice would be really appreciated.

Yes downgrade Isak probably, or Palmer. Don't play 4 at the back.

I don't think now is a good time to WC, but many have, so thats that. I have however seen many very nice WC team drafts, with both Haaland and Salah, and this is not even close to them.

I normally wouldn't recommend following youtubers, but I recommend you go check out LTFPL. He posted a video about 5 days or something with some WC teams. The first one with both Salah and Haaland is what you should be aiming for, its a very strong team.

Sorry, I may have misunderstood. Is the team above your current team or the team you are proposing as your WC team?

Mids are getting the points like normal and not just premium. Defence already nerfed by fantasy changes and not many teams keeping CS

Sitting just outside 10k, used my FTs this week on Andersen + Isak > Digne + Jackson.

Hard to flaw, but with FTs, always compromises. For me, it looks like too much £ in defense, but, it's a reasonable balance. Nice team. GL

Yeah interesting, I suppose it's hard to argue with the point you make about defense...although for me Trent is a 7m midfielder who just happens to take up a defender spot - only madueke and mbeumo have more points than him in midfield at 7m or under, so his value continues to be excellent

Points definitely incoming, but don't personally believe that he's worth over other arsenal assets at 8.4m

True - Havertz now clearly the better pick at a cheaper price.

I would have rated Odegaard more highly if Merino hadn't gotten injured. With him missing, I suspect Ode will sit a bit deeper.
