He's priced on last season's tallies which included 9 penalties and so far looks like less penalties being awarded. I think people trying to cram premiums into team instead of looking for early value will suffer

Why was this still not up as late as 10.30pm on a Thursday night ahead of a Saturday morning gameweek? This is a disservice to subscribers who pay for this site. Nor is this the first time I have raised the issue of selections getting later and later. Sam's little holiday, perhaps? Prices change overnight. Two weeks without a gameweek and still this is ridiculously late on what increasingly looks like an EFL site.

I'm not trying to fuel speculation or scare monger here...Haaland seems like he was a lot closer with this bloke than when his Grandma passed last year.

I think there's a genuine chance he misses the game on Saturday, particularly because of a couple of reasons.

    1. City play Inter Milan 4 days later. Perfect excuse to rest Haaland for the more important fixture against last season's Serie A winners. Pep will be stressing about that game after only beating them narrowly in the Champions League final.

    2. With Foden back in training now and a new formation in play, bringing him back could only previously be at the expense of Bernardo Silva; If Foden plays wide his contributions out there ruin the system somewhat if he comes inside.

So...could Pep play Foden false 9 against Brentford on Saturday? It would allow Rico Lewis to continue playing in the same role without ruining his effectiveness and keep the same formation which has proved successful so far.

I may well just be writing my own narrative here, it just might not be far off ya know

He trained yesterday. How does that fit into the narrative?

Pep should clarify in the presser. Surely he can’t use the “we will see” under these circumstances

He actually missed training yesterday. I've posted this on the new post to discuss.

Trent or Robbo for -4 point for Quansah?
My defense is Gabriel - Robinson - Udogie - Barco - Quansah.
    Goalkeeper is Martinez.

    I will play Trent/Robbo - Gabriel - Robinson

    Thanks!
