          Raya 4.0
          Gabriel Konaté Aina VDB Greaves
          Saka Diaz Mbeumo Semenyo 4.5
          Haaland Watkins Solanke

Personally think for the next 2 that Gabriel Solanke will outscore TAA Wood for exampe.
But its a trade-off as you cant own them all, which makes the game fun ofcourse!

Cheaper strikers are not reliable, apart from Wood, name one who’s been hyped up who’s done well.

DCL, Vardy, Munioz, Nketiah (my pick) all done nothing, they can’t be relied on.

You mean downgrade one of the most reliable picks in the game, who is playing for an attacking side with good fixtures, and who is finding form?

        1. The Tonberry
          • 1 Year
          1 year, 2 months ago

          Yes.

If he wants Trent, he'll need to sacrifice someone. There's already Villa attacking coverage in the team so Watkins is the most viable place to free funds. He'll be able to afford any other striker available except Isak so he's got plenty of options.

Watkins is a good player but he's far from essential

I assume you'd want him in place of Konate, so you need to find 1.5ish somewhere. It's probably Watkins...

Hello, aware I've missed some price changes, but waiting till after today's games. Which of these options do you prefer?

    Raya Valdimarsson
    Trent Robbo Aina Lewis Greaves
    Salah Mbuemo ESR Rogers Winks
    Haaland DCL Pedro

    1) Salah Winks Greaves out, Diaz Saka Gabriel in
    2) DCL Lewis out, Havertz Gabriel in

Probably A - Everton have some good fixtures for a bit now so it seems a bad time to ship DCL. Salah two good fixtures but likely to share points with Diaz and no Saka for next likely to be more damaging if he hauls than if you don't own Haverz and he hauls.

Don’t do it, more chance of Trent repeating his 11 pointer more frequently than Konate with his 9 pointer.

Looks really good as eyes immediately drawn to the stacked front 8, but the defence looks a little light perhaps? If you still want 3 Arsenal you could consider an arsenal defender for one of your 4.0's and change Havertz to a 6m?

Opinions here appreciated. 4ft and .4 itb

    Flekken, Vald
    Robinson, Konsa, Mazraoui, Dunk, Milenkovic
    Salah, Palmer, Semenyo, ESR, Rogers
    Haaland, Watkins, Pedro

I’m considering the below for free with exact funds.

    Dunk, ESR, Palmer, Pedro
    To
    Gabriel, Carvalho, Saka, Nkietah

    1. JT11fc

Arsenal assets a definite upgrade, having bith Carvalho and Nketiah probably a risk too far for me but easy enough price points to switch out.

Any ideas to improve this wild card please:

    Raya, Fabianski
    TAA, Gab, Moreno, Lewis, Faes
    Diaz, Eze, Semenyo, Rogers, Mbeumo
    Haaland, Watkins, Havertz

I usually always have Salah but it weakens defence and forwards if I get him in.

If you want Salah you'll need to downgrade TAA, Eze and Havertz - which is what I did!

The issue then is I'll have no arsenal attack and no Trent...not sure it's worth it.

    ***
    TAA Gabriel ***
    Saka Mbuemo Diaz Rogers
    Haaland Havertz Solanke

    Matthews *** VDB Greaves

Amad or Carvalho in midfield ? Or someone else 5m>
    GK Sanchez, Flekken or Sel?
Def Lewis, Aina, Konsa or Maz?

    Other options?

Onana worth some consideration? If you want an inexpensive keeper Id probably go Muric or Ramsdale for 4.4 - I'm not any more confident of Brentford clean sheets than I am of Ipwitch clean sheets the fixture run for both is fairly good. Defender - probably Konsa. I think Amad isa great option but if you want an enabler who is capable of scoring points you could also confider the Vicar

I'm tempted to keep Salah oin my wild card for now. I can easily then downgrade to Saka if it's clear he's more likely to get points.
Currently have Diaz in my WC too. I need convicing about Arsenal attack.
    Anyone else feeling the same?

I’m tempted too. It means no Saka but I’d go Raya, Gab and Havertz. Not sure if it’s worth it

No matter how many points he scores, people in here are desperate to not to pick Nicolas Jackson.

Brighton og Nottingham at home up next, 4 goals and 2 assist in 5 games. Yet I don’t see him on any teams.

Incredible bias towards him for some reason.

You think they're good fixtures? Only 4 GC between both sides so far and rank as 2 of the top 4/5 defences by most metrics

WC in play took the rises & still 50/50 on a few positions

    Watkins/Jackon 2nd fwd
    Double Ars/Pool defence
    Raya/Sanchez
    ESR/Semy

    Raya
    TAA, Gabriel, Lewis, Aina, Greaves,
    Saka, Mbeumo, Diaz, Rogers, ESR,
    Haaland, Jackson, DCL

    .4

      Raya

Feels not good taking out Salah before Wolves. Im not sure that will go well, and if Diaz will continue the scoring, but the team looks good

Why? Everyone will captain Haaland, the risk is minimal if you stack your team with good picks.

Turning to the lovely FSS community as don't think I've actually ever been in a strongish position before wildcard so caught in 2 minds!

Saved up 3 transfers. Do I...

    A) Use these to get a pretty strong gw6 team including 2x Liverpool and 3x Arsenal?

    B) Just wildcard as the players coming in would likely be in the team long term anyway and I can put out other fires while I'm at it!

Thanks to the community as always for the advice

I feel it's more beneficial and comforting knowing you have just wildcards to your best team and still have 3fts (prob 4, as you're not likely to transfer the following week)
than, say, the other way round.

Depends how many extra changes you'd be making on WC, and maybe especially whether now is the time to make moves like changing GK / fixing bench.

    B) Konate, Watkins

    A or B guys?

    Surely a?

Want Taa but Watkins is finding form and great fixtures.

Looked at team link, it's 0 ITB.

You can't really do anything noteworthy without downgrading Foden/Salah.

Saka or Semenyo in midfield feels achievable with 1 FT spent there.

Not really a fan of selling Salah vs. WOL, even if it's an obvious route.

Limewise the Arsenal defense worth targeting. If avoiding maybe swap out Robinson for Aina/Moreno. (Fulham have tough defensive fixtures.)

Thanks Hazz, Foden to Saka would be the one I want but for that would need a 3.9 defender to emerge for selling say Lewis to or downgrade Eze to ESR/Semenyo or summat

My thoughts too. The no Salah savings can be well spent.
The other compromise I've made is Havertz instead of Saka...again, means a stronger all round team.

To be honest I think I'd cap Haaland every week anyway. GW 13 they have Liverpool so maybe take a punt that week but apart from that it's unlikely I'd bet against Haaland.
