    Hi All,

    Benching question.

First bench best do you think?

    Mbeumo Palmer Diaz, McNeil, Rogers
    Vardy Haaland Havertz

A real-life Diaz benching may solve your problem.

Back to this old chestnut. You're the buyer, what are your thoughts?

      1. Dynamic Duos
        • 12 Years

I'm undecided, but my take is. Rogers. Villa are the better team and Rogers should probably be priced more and gives me Raya in goal.

Johnson. On great form, great differential and great fixtures, gives me Sanchez in goal.

I'm more of a 4.5 keeper type + Rogers and invest the change wisely or just bank.

      They’re very different prices.
Ultimately, Rogers is a perfect 8th attacker to bench and come in if you need him. Johnson would be someone you would want to play every week and expect good returns from.

        • 12 Years

And now I’ve seen your post above re: Sanchez/Raya - I would probably prefer Rogers+Raya over Johnson/Sanchez longer term.

Rogers was only .5 more (now .8) than a Winks which is the cheapest 8th attacker you can get. Winks gets 1-3 points a week and Rogers plays for a far better team and can get much bigger hauls. He's an easy 8th attacker pick.
Johnson is in a different price bracket at 6.5m and they shouldn't be compared.

Any ideas where I can shave off 0.1 here?

3ft, wanted to dump Barco + Eze + Isak to get Palmer + Delap + fodder

    Hendo, Valdimarsson
    Porro, Gabriel, Robinson, Davis, 3.9
    Saka, Palmer, Mbuemo, ESR, Rogers
    Haaland, Solanke, Delap

Reply fail above. You don’t need all of Delap, ESR, and Rogers, as you will have to bench one of them each week. Lose one and use the extra cash to upgrade elsewhere.

Probably has to be Delap to someone cheaper as you want Palmer and fodder doesn't come any cheaper than 4.0 for defenders.

I'm torn on this, what 3 Arsenal assets would you have in your team?

    1) Raya, Gabriel, Havertz
    2) Gabriel, Saka, Havertz

    My thoughts:
    1) Economically makes more sense from a value perspective
    2) Saka is my fave player in the league, feels wrong to go without him.

What would you do and why?

      2. Because I own them 🙂

Gabriel - Highest scoring defender. Attacking threat.
Saka - Sixth highest scoring mid. Averages 6.3 pts per game, very consistent and always a threat to haul.
Havertz - Top five scoring forward. In good form.

Some will tell you the fixtures get tougher after GW8, because the ticker says four red fixtures in a row. I say boloney to the ticker, Arteta has proven he can and will adopt his tactics to suit any opponenet and the players will respond. The only "tough" fixture is Liverpool but it is played at the Emirates

Absolutely, have a very similar team and saving my FT. Only question I was debating over was Diaz and the his uncertainty around starting. Made peace with starting him over Rogers and if he gets benched so be it

If I had Rogers I think I'd lean the same way as you, just, but it's close. Good to have that depth as a 5th mid though

Well if Salah goes mad at least I won’t be up to see it live, as it will be 5:30am kick off for me. Think I might just stay asleep

Interesting that in 21 games without KDB, Haaland has only returned more than 1 goal three times. He has a good return rate but doesn’t exactly go off most of the time.

Ok up top is different and Salah and Haaland but so close to my WC GW3 team but I have taken hits along the way. You got a Haaland in plan or sticking with this structure?

    Hi all. Anyone fancy RMWCT?

0 ITB (Hence Saliba over Gab)

    Flek
    Saliba Porro Gvardiol
    Saka Palmer Mbuemo Rogers Semenyo

You know it's a fun season when two good wild cards can share only 3 players

Like it. Those 3 prems look good and the rest is tasty. Just missing Trent for me but very nice.
Of course you can’t have that team without going bare on the bench. Low single figure bench point totals are nice when you don’t need them to come in.

Could switch Mbeumo to Mc Neil and use funds to get Gabs and improve bench....

Yeah it looks too expensive , always a good sign. If those 3 click it’s a hundred points 🙂
Having said that why do you still have Eze ?

Eze stats this season (in all comps):

        Games - 8
        Goals - 2
        Assists - 3

And he had a goal disallowed in GW1
