Looking at the next 10 Liverpool fixtures in all competitions, I think Jota will deliver pain. They'll have to rotate as the fixtures are very tough and come thick and fast. Konate has the same awful fixtures and Strand Larsen isn't the best fwd at Wolfs. Get the pen taker if you can afford him.

    Best replacement for Diaz/Jackson?... 2FT

    A. Palmer/Raul
    B. Johnson/(Watkins/Solanke)

    Raya
    TAA Gabriel Lewis
    Saka Mbeumo Diaz ESR
    Haaland Jackson DCL

    Muric Rogers Greaves Myko

Who else do you have, I still think Lewis, City are eating goals, Lewis has decent attacking potential. Probably less nailed but you save what, 1.4/1.5

    Flekken / 4.0
Gabriel, Saliba, Lewis / Davis, Faes
    Palmer, Saka, Díaz, Mbeumo, Rogers
    Haaland, Vardy / 4.5

    2 FT.

    A. Diaz to McNeil, Vardy to Solanke
    B. Save
    C. Something else

    1. charlie1X
      • 12 Years

I'd save give Vardy the Southampton game, then consider whether you want Solanke after gwk 8. Diaz may have a good game but the issue is will he start? Most think Gusto will invert into midfield with Cucu suspended, that may leave an easy route onto goal for Diaz or Gakpo depending on which one starts.

How much has Johnson scored when Son was on the field?
Won’t the play go back to the left more when Son is back?

    1. charlie1X

He'll probably get more tap ins at the back post rather than lung busting runs around his defender chasing a long ball

Issue with Johnson is last season he was massively under-performing his xGI. This season so far, that is not the case. Could be a bedding in period, but I think he also looks like a streaky confidence player. How long that streak lasts remains to be seen

    RIP Baldock, shocking news that.

Been focused on fantasy for a while tonight and have these options,
    a) Konsa + Semenyo - Lewis + Minteh
    b) Konsa, TAA + Semenyo - Lewis, Gvardiol + Johnson (-4)

B I would need to push the button on tonight due to price rises! Risky this early in international break.

I think I'll definitely get Kelleher for 0.4m more than Fabianski on WC. Rather have playing back up keeper for 4-6 games. Although he only kept 2 CS in 11 games last season so wondering if I should downgrade TAA

Problem with Kelleher is he will only play 4 games and they are tricky fixtures, so long term you are blocking a Liverpool spot when the fixtures turn again, ok short term if you still have your WC in your pocket I guess.

How do you rank these spurs trio for FPL? In the case of using FT to buy, who would you pick first and second?

    S - Solanke
    M - Maddison
    J - Johnson

It might be team dependent to go MF or FW. But, with form, what would be the good justification to pay more and go Maddison?

    1. NATSTER

Depends on budget, where you need them and how long-term you'd have them. If you don't need a striker then it rules S out. If you don't have many funds there's only one option really. I do think the FPL prices are the correct order of the assets in terms of where I'd have them long-term but Johnson could just keep going on this hot streak to make it interesting.

Who is my priority transfer out this week? Konsa and Myko are both flagged and if both don't recover I could only have 2 defenders starting.

    A - Mateta
    B - Mosquero
C - Roll (play Mateta and get Cunha in GW9 after Wolves v City)

    Henderson
    Gabriel - Konsa - Robinson
    Martinelli - Johnson - Palmer - Mbuemo
    Haaland - Mateta - Wood

    Valdi - Winks - Myko - Mosquero

    1. Tommy Template

Have you wildcarded yet if you don't mind me asking? I think its borderline WC territory although might not be the best with the fixtures. If it was my team I'd consider Konsa, Myko, Mosquera, potentially Winks (dropped last game), Mateta (same as Winks) as obvious fires and I'm not keen on Henderson as the keeper either.

      1. Jet5605
        • 11 Years
        1 year, 1 month ago

I haven't WC'd yet. Was hoping to get through to GW12 before pulling the trigger. I don't mind taking a -4 to put two fires out and then just use my FT every week until then. If I'm taking a hit probably better to do it this week rather than later on. I'm hoping Mateta starts the next game as he looked better than Nketiah when he came on.

I think of it were me I'd do Mateta this week, to Delap or Raul or Vardy or similar, then next week probably Martinelli up or down to whoever you like
Derbz is right, Winks has probably lost his starting spot

      1. Jet5605
        • 11 Years

Thanks. I like Vardy v Southampton but Raul looks a much better long term pick. Mateta & Mosquero > Raul & Faes for a -4 could work (unless we news that one of Myko or Konsa is fit in which case I could replace Winks).

Wolves are only 8 goals away from equalling Arsenal's goals conceded tally for the entire season in 2023/24. Could overtake them by the end of GW8 if that Brentford showing is anything to go off.
