    @fpl__physio's guess fwiw:

    Gabriel injury report!

Gabriel has left the pitch against Liverpool with what seems to be an injury to the MCL.

The physios first entered the pitch and was seen test for the MCL. Gabriel tried to continue but minutes later had to come off.

Best case (grade 1) we are looking at 1-3 weeks.

If grade two it’s more like 4-6 weeks and worst case (grade 3) we are talking 6 weeks or more.

He was able to continue a bit so my prediction as for now is grade 1 or 2.

I would say he is probably out until after the international break.

Still not sure why I didn’t go Gab to Gvardiol for a hit, had such plan but then kinda forgot

Not so sure Gvardiol is worth pricetag seeing City defensively.
        Look like conceding every game.

I'll probably have to give him the Saints game then sell to Wissa or Cunha.

Worth doing Gab > Gvardiol now for free? Will be priced out after tonight. Or another option later this week?

    A - Gvardiol
    B - VVD
    C - Aina

    Henderson
    RAN - Gabriel - Myko
    Salah - Palmer - BJ - Mbuemo
    Haaland - Wood - Jimi

    Valdi - Konsa - Winks - Mosquero

Is Gvardiol that essential? City's upcoming games are tricky and not sure how many cleanies they'll get. He is a BAPS magnet but presumably that depends on cleanies.

9 games in, 14th with 8 goals scored. RIP United! They lost all ambition.

Does ETH really need the money? Did he lose all self respect? Just quit and blame the club or whatever and move on. It's getting pathetic at this point.

Today I felt sorry for him for the first time.
Played a great first half and should have been 0 3 up easily.

Bad finishing isnt his to blame. Unlucky and undeserved loss

    Gabriel lewis RAN (mykoleko greaves)

      that team isn't too bad.
i'd roll the transfer and bench Gabriel and play Mykolenko, Southampton next.

Cheers. That's the problem. The team never looks too bad but fails to deliver

Holding might make sense but it's hard to hold when I'm doing consistently badly....

Squad is good. Fixtures were/are there. You've been unlucky. Popular picks haven't produced (DCL in particular, but he has Sou next)

Bench/sell Gabs (depending on severity of injury), play Myko regardless

Focus on fixture swings gw12. It's a long season

Biggest reason I intend on going Haaland to Salah is because of Captain choice paralysis when Haaland is in my squad. I was adamant my Palmer AND Mbeumo were better picks but still went Haaland out of fear knowing my ML players will captain him

    1. RICICLE
      • 3 Years

This is it, with Haaland you’re just compelled to cap him every week and it’s detrimental and boring.
He’s going for me, Salah is coming in, risks need to be taken now at 2.5m rank, gonna get nowhere by keeping him.

They weren't better picks though. He missed 4 sitters and his 2nd highest xG at City ever. Just bad luck.

      1. FantasyClub
        • 4 Years

Yes there were missed chances but that “bad luck” has this 15m+ asset on third for points overall with Salah & Palmer beating him and 1 goal in the last 4 matches. Plus it was SOU at home so of course he is expected to post those numbers. I’m well aware he could haul any week but it’s about value and he’s price tag ain’t worth it atm

Not saying I disagree with your points in last post, just that he was clearly the best captain pick this GW, not Palmer or Mbuemo.
