    thoughts on these moves:
    a. Haaland + Semenyo to Salah + Raul/Cunha/Wood
    b. Diaz + TAA + Gabriel* to Salah + 9.7 for two defenders (for a hit but keep Halland)
    c. Diaz + Gabriel* to Saka + 5.2 def

I think I have miss navigated to the BBC football website. Scout has a breaking news article on the sacking of a PL manager who is unable to score goal and assist points in FPL.

I think he genuinely wants a break, so can't see him rushing to put in his cv. And the way Premier league clubs fire their managers, it's not like a decent team's position won't come up in good time. I think a position abroad would suit him; get some day to day management under his belt - aside from national jobs, he's had three seasons at Middlesbrough. I don't think it's beyond him, but managing a nation side at whatever level is a different job to managing a club team. I'm also siding slightly with the view that why would you want to take that job on right now? I get the obvious attractions - it is a premier league appointment, gets you on that ladder which means it opens up jobs afterwards, but I can see the likes of Potter being more attracted to it for that reason, rather than anyone who could justifiably say that the chance has come too soon for them.

yes but those who do actually saw fit to extend ETH contract when they should have sacked him in the summer. I agree though very interesting to see where they go next and if they actually know what style of football they want the team to play.

The person in actual charge for that (Ashworth) still wasn't at the club at the time the club took the (very poor) choice of extending his contract. So hopefully they can make the right call going forward.

I think Gab is probably out for a while now and Arsenal defence not as appealing as it was several weeks ago.

Make your own mind up, but selling him now probably isn’t going to be the worst decision you’ll make this season.

Thomas Frank would be a really smart appointment at this point.

Step up for him to a better resourced mid-table side.

But the fans will need to accept that United are now way off the top 6. The squad is mid-table and the vibes are League 2.

Can be turned around with patience but there are no quick fixes.

          Fair.

I’m currently on Foden Palmer Haaland as premiums.

Foden becomes Saka for me GW12.

Not sure I’d lose Foden for a -4 for Salah in the interim personally. LFC fixtures aren’t that good, the home games are against 2 bogey teams.

I own RAN & Wood. RAN is great.

I don’t think I’d be buying Wood though. I think there are better alternatives cheaper.

I am moving Wood to JPedro in GW14 - you can’t make that move yet due to injury and bad fixtures.

Raul is definitely the better pick than Wood though I’d say.

Seeing lots consider a Haaland to Salah switch has made me run through plans on FPL team.

Turns out I’m not making the Haaland to Salah move until GW23.

Saka Palmer Haaland will have to cover any Salah hauls until then.

(L.Diaz too when he comes in for Johnson in GW13 to help cover LFC attacking returns if he’s nailed - if not nailed we have fun with Bowen).

Rodri winning the Ballon d'Or - has the game ever been more gone than now?

No, the Ballon d'Or winner could be starting next season in League 2.

Would be pretty shocking to see, especially after City receive 0 punishment

Balon d’Or has been a sham for a while. It’s been nothing more than a popularity contest for as long as I remember it really being measured as the “best player” indicator.

CR7 & Messi were clearly the best in the world, but throughout their wins other players had better seasons and probably deserved it.

2010 Iniesta not winning was just absolutely mental to me.

2018 Modric was left field for making a WC final.

      2020 Lewandoski robbed.

      2021 Lewandowski robbed.

      Pretty much means nothing anymore.

Maybe not to you, but I think you'll find it means a great deal to professional footballers

I think Rodri is a worthy nominee. The impact he has (and absence felt) on arguably the best team in the world cannot be overstated. No De Bruyne, no problem. No Rodri, big problem.

He is the definition of a midfield general and no one in the world does it better than him.

They're top of the league without him, his impact is definitely overstated.

You look at the table, others look at performances as an better indicator of long term stability and success. City are scraping through games they would normally control with ease. Hope you're not evaluating this through your United-tinted spectacles.

They've scored the most goals and conceded the third least. Just because they didn't put 10 past the likes of Southampton doesn't mean they're "scraping through" at all. Rodri's out for the season and they'll still win the league, so how big of an impact is he really having?

Not just the Southampton game, but the Wolves, Fulham and Newcastle ones before.

But OK, let's see if they'll still win the league as you say. Then your point will be well made.

GW18 could be a HUGE week for swings in scores.

    Arsenal v IPS
    Liverpool v LEI
    City v EVE
    Chelsea v FUL

Current plans for premium ownership at that point is Palmer Haaland Saka - with Gabriel Konate James Lewis Diaz making up the numbers in those fixtures. Salah TAA obvious omissions.

    Hello!
Considering Raya&Lewis -> Sels&Gvardiol but it would cost me -4.

    What would you do?
    0.6itb 1ft

    A) hold
    B) do the move (-4)
    C) something else

    Raya Fabianski
    Lewis VdV RAN Keane Faes
    Salah Palmer Mbeumo Johnson Rogers
    Haaland Wood Wheatley

Forest are away at Arsenal, City and Man united with a new manager in the next 5 or 6 GW, don't really see a standout 4.5m keeper though. Maybe hold and monitor the Fabianski situation

    raya

    gvardiol, lewis, ran

    palmer, mbeumo, johnson, rogers

    haaland, havertz, solanke

(fab, davis, mcneil, van den berg)

    1.0 itb, 2 ft

    a) haaland/mcneil --> watkins/salah
    b) haaland/mcneil/johnson --> raul/salah/saka (-4) - currently 0.1 leftover so would have to move soon
