    Trent out for?

Have Raya - I'd double Arsenal defence a good idea.

    A) Gabriel
    B) Konate
    C) Hall

    Cheers.

It looks like he's lost his place, but sounds like there's about a 50% chance he starts this weekend because Branthwaite is "touch and go".

    Afternoon all,
What would you do with the below, I have 1FT
    A. Start Solanke
    B. Maddison > Bruno
    C. Maddison > Saka
    D. Solanke > Watkins
    E. Solanke > Isak

    On WC

    1. keep Esr or go with Semenyo
    2. Gabriel or Timber (timber gives me 4 defs to rotate..
    3. Jackson or Isak (I prefer Jakcson but let see)

    Pedro, Isak, Cunha

The defence is the only concern. Andersen has tough fixtures and Faes plays for Leicester.
Maybe Gvardiol to Konate and Faes to Hall?

A lot of Pedro love when I asked best striker to bring in - who’s he start in front of for Brighton?

Also, if I did bring him in, who would you bench this week?

    A - Semenyo
    B - Mbuemo
    C - Rogers
    D - S Larsen
    E - J Pedro

What is the problem with this wild card team?

    Raya, Fabianski

  8. marcus2704

    Team G2G?

    Henderson
Van Den Berg | HWB | Keane
    Salah | Saka | Palmer | Mbuemo
    Haaland | Wissa | Raul

    Subs - Faes, Greaves, Iroegbunam

I have two free transfers, although my team is lit up like a Christmas tree I am hopeful that Mbuemo, Wissa, Palmer & Saka all start.

Not wanting to break apart the 'big 4' at the moment so it really does limit my available moves.

The only change I thought about making was Raul to Pedro, but that doesn't seem pressing.

If your set on keeping all the big 4, there's not much to change. It looks really good TBF

The plan is barring injury, they all stay put. I started the season like this, then decided to change it by losing Palmer and Saka and of course they both then went nuts. I took silly hits to get them all back in again so I think I will stick.

Am I overthinking TAA to Colwill instead of Konate or RAN? No attacking threat not been great defensively just good fixtures and rotates better with Kerkez

    My defence is:
    TAA*, Gabriel, Dalot, Kerkez, Greaves

Also worth going for Pedro over Isak if it allows me to get Saka for Johnson next GW or overthinking again?

    Thanks all

    1. Captain Mal

Konate is the one for me. Decent price and plays for the best defence.
Johnson and Isak vs Pedro and Saka is close, but the latter sounds more appealing indeed.

Konate is a long term pick, so I wouldn't mind the 2 tricky fixtures, plus they've kept clean sheets to the likes of M. Utd, Villa, Bayer, Red Bull, etc. It's not impossible they do it against Newcastle.

With 4FT selling Haaland feels like a wildcard. But is it the right move?

    Either.

    A. Haaland, Greaves, Konsa & Winks to Cunha, Saka/Bruno, RAN & VVD

    or

    B. Raya, Greaves, Konsa to Sanchez, RAN, Hall + Roll

The second does give the option of switching out Raul but not enough for Cunha and compared to affordable options mean I would probably roll this week

There seems to be this narrative that the Spurs defence will be easier to score against without Romero and VDV. Given that they leak goals even with those 2 playing I don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility that they perform better defensively with a different centre back pairing.

    1. Captain Mal

Think VDV's pace is seen as a get out of jail free card. Could get a lot worse. Or, they could try a more defensive strategy. Ange is pretty stubborn, though

    3. x.jim.x
      • 11 Years
      1 year, 14 days ago

Ange has shown before that he'll set the side up in the same way no matter the situation or personnel - just look at that game against Chelsea last season. You'd think they'd just play on the counter and just pump it up to Son, especially with Bentancur out, but I'm not sure they will.

    4. PartyTime
      • 4 Years

The other narrative would be that City had the break which they could use to reinvigorate the squad for the upcoming games given how poor they have been. Spurs could be a bogey side but I definitely don't see them stopping Haaland / City
