Trent 15pointer tonight but still seems a lot of cash for him considering 3 cs in last 13 league games. Contemplating getting but not sure

Tossing on this too, Liverpool couldve got 7 and West ham inlucky to not get at least 3. Pool just kinda didnt put much defensive effort in once 4-0 up

I thought about selling him for Quansah before his goal. Without plan to get Haaland he seems affordable to me. My personal plan is to keep and try to save free transfers after taking a hit previous week.

Sounds good for you, I have Alisson Salah Diaz so would need 2 transfers, doesnt feel worth it as Alisson at least covers CS for now

With Haaland and Saka out of contention I think it's fairly easy, and justifiable, to afford him.

Get him. I still think CS will be hard to come by especially with Konate and Gomez out but his attacking is nuts. Not a stretch to say he could have 4 more assists last 2 games. Salah just doesn’t want to finish anything fed from Trent 🙂

    4. Ser Davos

I could even do Greaves to Trent in one swoop. It's difficult as so many kf these assets can blow hot and cold on purely eye test terms (and eye test wise Trent's been recently cold). How much was it West Ham being dysfunctional?

    5. Captain Mal

It's true that Liverpool's defence has had some problems lately. Robertson is too error prone nowadays and Trent isn't a great defender either. He also looks to have lost some set pieces to MacAllister.
Still, he's looked really attacking and should have had 2-3 assists in the last two games. Tough call.

Perhaps. Or actually yes. Now we can agree it was too crazy.

But eyed up a chance to moce into top100.
2.5% owned Haalend in my rank and 0.6% had him captained.

Had more faith in West Ham, and also less so in Leicester than what happened today.

Guess Haaland will be fine to just own the next fair few GWs.
One positive is, that I have absolutely no benching headaches 😀

Will just be happy to own him. Had this fixture as a GW where I could potentially go against Mo. A 8 point loss in captaincy (pretty much equal to the amount of points in my red arrow).

I guess he has an account, maybe a secret one, I didn't look.

A while back he said in a post match interview, something on the lines of "I needed to come through for all the FPL managers who have me". I forgot what GW it was, but it was probably 6.

Palmer OFC does not score for FPL lol, but it he is conscious of it. Any player on twitter will be bombarded with tweets about it.

For once the absolute joy of not even considering a transfer, will take a benching headache any day. Taken way too many hits this year. Feel it’s the worst possible year to be doing it when so many FT can be saved up.

I’m the opposite, I think hits can pay off big time this season and have done on 3 occasions so far for me anyway, it’s part of the fun.

Yeah been on both sides of that with hits this year. To clarify an even bigger problem with me is planning transfers and doing them way too early before all games end. I am talking the stupid level of doing them hours before price updates and games still on going. No discipline.

Yeah it’s sometimes tough to hold off on transfers really especially if price affects affording players.
I tend to hold off as long as I can just before price changes if I need to do them, however I have been going earlier this season with transfers, luckily I’ve not been burnt……..yet.

7 gameweeks ago, I took two -4s in back to back weeks to bring in Salah and Cunha, and the Hall and Isak. Captained Salah since then. Moved frm 1.8 million to inside 300k while being template.

All years in the future will be similar. My hit cost so far has been modest 28 and some have been taken order to save future transfers. Outcome of those has been almost negative because of selling Palmer at the worst moment.

It is very difficult to know when you have to keep the player and when you have to sell.

Spends 36 points in hits so far.

Seems high, but usually spend about 100 in a season. Will try to avoid hits in the next few GWs ahead of DGWs, BGW, assistant manager, TC and so on.

Would be nice to have 3-4 FTs when we get to february. Having said that I will probably do Bowen -> Eze with my single FT this GW.

I like hits. And will take them without blinking when I think it could be good obviously.

But I usually also take more hits in the first half to gain some TV. Therefore those 36 points is not just 36 points lost.

My TV is 106 and allow me this team with 0.2 ITB:

          Sanchez - Fabianski
          Timber - Robinson - Kerkez - Hall - Coady
          Salah - Palmer - Bowen - Rogers - Choudhury
          Haaland - Isak - Wood

Bowen till leave and also need to figure out how to get another two pool players into this team before DGW. Probably Alisson and a defender tbh.

Yeah now is the time to start saving up for the AM chip.
The double for pool seem ideal to play it. But I think going rogue the 2 following weeks after those save points might be the best way to use it. Then again I might just keep my 3 pool players and look else where. If I take out a pool player that hauls then Slots points are effectively zero.

Hits work sometimes. You just need to be lucky; a good week to do it, and the right players to return and the right players to blank.

About 4 weeks ago hits got me a net 40 point gain, I tend to not calculate the weeks it goes sideways.
It’s probably plain maths or game theory if you keep swapping you are probably just increasing your chances of missing the points when they come but that wouldn’t factor in fixture difficulty.

-12's and -8's are risky. I rarely do them, I did it once this season and it paid off the same as yo. I got Saka in for captain when he hauled.

Price changes normally dictate my hits. It seems whenever I find something good, I have to do it that night or I am priced out.

I’ve only taken three -4’s this season.
Usually I’m hit crazy. I’ve been really lucky with my planning and Haaland out timing plus rotation of four 4.5m defenders.

Having said that Ive only stored up 3 FTs once and have always spent my FT.
It’s working out, so far as I find myself 1.5k OR.

I see many people giving up on Jackson where I am making moves to bring him in with Wood and Isak. He’s had two blanks before playing Ipswich but before that, he scored well. Wood had 3 blanks before getting his 12 pointer and Jackson’s fixtures are looking good. I don’t watch much football so am I missing the eye test?

Stop giving f about many peoples amd do what your gut says. And dont watch content creators. Jackson is a very good pick now that his yellow threshold is changing and you got to give players at least 5-6 gws to apply law of average

Jackson misses all the many easy chances he gets and scores a few of the harder chances that he gets. Frustrating to own if you watch games.

No. People sell when there's 2 or more blanks often. They were selling wood until now, but now he's the most bought player per hour.

If Jackson scores tomorrow, he'll keep rising, otherwise people will switch him for whoever is the new flavour of the week. That's just how it always goes.

As below Porro out for him seem ideal to me.
That does sound a bit mad. Enzo was deeper in the last game but still would have scored if not for a wonder save.
I would keep Enzo. But most have ignored the team that sits second for too long. I have never owned Wood and might have had Aina for a few weeks.

He might celebrate becoming a father with a hat-trick, but it's still a risky punty move to captain him over Salah or Isak.

Perhaps he will when you also tkae into account the money placed on the bench.

You can't state Haaland does'nt hold the value with points per million and putting him up against (let's say Jackson) if you at the same time bench Bruno Fernandes, or Diaz due to no show. Or Bowen due to a bad fixture.

        My bench this GW:
        Fabianski, Kerkez, Coady, Choudhury

        Can't get any cheaper 😉

I just need Haaland, Rogers and Robinson to outscore let's say Jackson, Son and TAA.

I had his name on my football tops and still have the 86 Everton home top with Sheedy on.

Fantastic night. Shame that game wrecked us for the Cup final against United 3 days later.

Me too mate. I used to do a milk round when I was 14 - lasted 3 months til Christmas tips - and did Sharpie's mum's house. True story.

I remember. He'd have been Lord Wegerle if FPL had existed then.

Agree, sadly we have fewer and fewer (foot)ballers and just masses of athletes.
