    Is benching Aina to play Hall, Gabriel and Robinson the right move next GW? Liverpool are going to score right?

        That may well be the case (and would make for a fantastic development in the title race) but Aina’s points will not change based on the outcome of the match, just in if Forest concede

          Nottingham Forest did not concede away to Liverpool earlier in this season.

          This time Nottingham are home.

    Which GK on wildcard?

    A. Alison (DGW)
    B. Pickford (DGW)
    C. Sels (Have Aina too)

      Same dilemma mate. I am leaning towards Pickford because I will have a Liverpool defender and he has a double GW but if the DGW were not a factor I think I’d go for Sels

      pickford, 4 home matches in next 5 GW, and the 2 away look ok (brighton and palace). i guess Sels if you want long term and not too bothered about immediate fixtures

        This is my logic too - might pull the trigger before the deadline after the cup matches. Raya is unlikely to keep a CS this week and will probably drop before the deadline.

    Conte, Mourinho very successful everywhere apart from Spurs

    Nuno very solid too if given a bit of time

    All 3 hounded out by Spurs fans and now they’re trying to do the same with Postecoglou

    1. Royal5
      • 14 Years

      Both Conte and Mourinho was given a fair chance at Spurs tbf. Apart from Mourinho being sacked before the final. Nuno was woeful, and maybe the worst I have seen as a Spurs supporter.

      1. Qaiss
        • 9 Years

        Conte and Mourinho both had a year and a half, which isn’t long enough to sort out the problems Spurs have. Sacking a manager that won everywhere he’s been before a final didn’t make sense

        1. Royal5
          • 14 Years

          Yeah that’s modern football. It’s cheaper and a quick fix to sack managers when things don’t work. No idea how Arteta has been allowed to sit this long tbh

    2. PartyTime
      • 4 Years

      I think Mourinho & Conte were great ESPECIALLY Conte! He had plans for Spurs! He was really fed up at the Board for their nonchalant approach. He called out the Board & players in one of his pressers. I think he had his worst managerial record at Spurs so you can imagine how pissed he was.

      Nuno, on the other hand, wasn’t as good as you described compared to the rest even though he is now having a surprisingly good season at NFO.

      A few stats for you here.
      Nuno Espirito Santo at Spurs:
      1. Nuno is just the second Spurs manager to lose as many as five of his first 10 Premier League games in charge of the club, after Christian Gross in 1997-98;
      2. Tottenham have not had a shot on target in their last two hours and 16 minutes of football, since Harry Kane’s effort in the 44th minute against West Ham;
      3. Saturday's defeat by Manchester United was the first time Spurs have failed to have a shot on target in a Premier League home game since December 2013;
      4. Spurs have already lost two Premier League home games by at least three goals this season - they’d only lost by such a margin at home once in the seven previous campaigns combined;
      5. They are on their longest run without a clean sheet since a run of 10 between September and December 2019.
      (Source: BBC Sports)

      Conte vs Nuno after 17 games

      Antonio Conte

      Games: 17
      Won: 10
      Drawn: 3
      Lost: 4

      Goals for: 29
      Goals against: 18
      Clean sheets: 5

      Points per game: 1.94
      Win rate: 58.8%
      Loss rate: 23.5%

      Goals per game: 1.7
      Goals against per game: 1.05

      Nuno Espirito Santo

      Games: 17
      Won: 8
      Drawn: 2
      Lost: 7

      Goals for: 22
      Goals against: 23
      Clean sheets: 5

      Points per game: 1.52
      Win rate: 47%
      Loss rate: 41.1%
      (Source: planetfootball.com)

      All in all, I think Postecoglou is the worst of the bunch. They should have tried keeping Conte / Mourinho.
