Roll? Or would you bring in TAA (and downgrade Watkins)? 2ft, 0.0itb

    Pickford
    Hall Timber Robinson
    Salah Palmer Mbeumo Gordon
    Isak Wood Watkins

Yeah, bring in Trent. Too risky not to own given the DGW and upcoming fixtures.

I'd roll this week. Get TAA next week as defence looks good this week.

Have almost the same first XI as yours. Verbruggen, Gabriel, Munoz instead of Pickford, Timber, Robinson.

Planning to roll even though I have 4FTs lol. Hope Liverpool at least concede a goal.

Pretty happy with this but unsure on Watkins.

    Sels
    TAA Gabriel Hall Munoz
    Salah Palmer Gordon
    Isak Watkins Wood
    4 Sarr Milenkovic Enzo

Watkins > Mateta or someone else?
    Or hold

Roll. Good fixture for Watkins and seems to be scoring quite regularly in recent weeks.

Probably worried about the looming rotation threat from Duran. Watkins could be randomly benched anytime.

    Is this team really bad?

Don't know what I'm doing wrong compated to previos seasons to be near 3million rank with never end red arrows. Planning Jackson to Gakpo possibly this week?

    1FT

    Pickford
    Gabriel, Kerkez, Munoz
    Salah, Palmer, Mbeumo, Rogers
    Isak, Jackson, Wood
    Elanga, Murillo, Greaves

It isn't bad at all. If it makes you feel any better, I am in the exact same position. Previous seasons regularly finishing relatively well; this one I just seem to move from one disaster/poor selection/slice of bad luck to another. It has been a strange season all round for many of us. Not to downplay those who have done well of course!

Jackson is who I am getting rid of too, and Gakpo seems sensible but you might want to wait for the Lille game first.

In a game of luck you need luck with the few differentials you have.youe team is great just lose Jackson asap

Thanks guys. Reassures me I’ve been a bit unlucky, tried to be patient to players like keeping Jackson last week against Wolves. May keep again stupidly if Gakpo plays tonight and Jota is back for Ipswich maybe it isn’t the best move so will wait and see.

Your team right now looks good, maybe the only issue if you're trying to increase your rank is you've almost got too many high-owned players. If you want to make up serious ground maybe some big calculated swings for differentials is the way to go? E.g. a Jackson to Gakpo move for this weekend and the DGW

Thank you. Strongly considering Gakpo this week. Last weeks differential in Elanga didn’t come through and sold Bruno for him who was only ever going to score from a penalty, while keeping Jackson and benching Kerkez.

When they say 5 places above them in AM bonus rule do they mean that there have to be 5 teams in between them or would Newcastle get bonus for beating Liverpool right now?

    2FT, 0.0 ITB, thoughts?

    Raya - Valdimarsson
    TAA - Gabriel - Colwill - N. Williams - Bednarek
    Salah - Palmer - B. Fernandes - Rogers - Enzo
    Isak - Mateta - Wood

    A: Raya to Alisson
B: Raya & Mateta / Wood to Pickford & Gakpo
    C: B. Fernandes to Mbuemo
    D: Other / Roll

    Bench dilemma again.

    Who sits?

    A) Rogers (WHU)
    B) Amad (ful)
    C) Wissa (cry)

I'm sitting Rogers atm. I saw enough of Amad from the highlights of the last game. He's got much better stats than Rogers. Wissa feels like he can score in any game so want to give him the chance.

The problem I have with this is that the stats and the eye test both are very strongly in favor of Amad over Rogers. They're clearly better.

Amad vs Rogers (last 6 matches - does not include Rogers suspension)
        Mins: 528/517
        xG: 2.05/0.54
        xA: 1.67/0.55
        Goal Attempts: 15/9
        GA in box: 11/7
        Big chances: 4/1

I agree that the fixture is definitely better for Rogers. A good performance from Rogers tonight might sway the decision. We'll see.

I'd bench Wissa due to his away form. Southampton doesn't really count

I don't believe in Brentford's home and away form whatsover.

Their good home form at the start of the season was because their fixtures were so easy. And conversely, their poor away form is because they had tough games.

Last 4 homes games for Brentford they played good teams: NFO, ARS, MCY, LIV and guess what?
3 losses, 1 draw. Wissa and Mbeumo get 1 goal each in these 4 games blanking in the rest.

In some ways, Brentford are one of the best teams to invest in this year. They score goals and get results against the lower half teams and lose to the big teams quite predictably

I'd play Wissa and same decision for me as well between Amad and Rogers.
Amad has crazy high goal involvement under Amorim. He was involved in 10 out of the 15 goals scored in the PL.
Will probably do a coinflip minutes before deadline

    Pickford
    Timber / Robinson / Hall / Munoz

    Gakpo / Isak

    (Fab / J-Pedro / Aina / Mbuemo)

    Start:
    ) Pedro (EVE)
    b) Robinson (MUN)

Any surgery needed? Tempted to roll my 1 FT.

    UCL back this eve

ive had an ok start and havent used a chip yet

im planning to use LL in the final matchday

question is do i use the WC this week or better to save it? I could get by with just 2 frees today but if i used the WC i would obviously make a few more moves), do we need to save it for later? i feel like this format the chips are normally bettter used early on rather than saved

      • 14 Years

Could use WC now and have an eye to MD8 next Wednesday. All games will start at 8 and lineups known at 7 so you just need 11 starters. Could always use Limitless MD8 or 2nd round of playoffs or even the final. There's plenty of FTs for qualifier games and last 16 onwards. Depends how your team looks. Good to have so many options 🙂

Question on chip strategy. Have all chips left still. Thinking TC for Salah in 24. Free hit seems to make most sense for one of the late doubles. But then should you be targeting 4/potentially 5 games with AM? And if so then when does BB come into the mix, just targeting a good fixture week?

    1. Sgt Frank Drebin

TC in 24. BB in 33 or 36 doubles. FH in 29 or 34 blanks.

Thinking of rolling this week and bring in two Liverpool next week (probably Konate and Gakpo), unsure what to do with the line-up this week, but open to suggestions/feedback. Doing ok in my leagues, top 3-4, 1.5m overall rank.

    GK: Sels / Henderson
    Def: Hall / Muñoz/ Milenković / Mykolenko / Robinson
    Mid: Palmer / Mbeumo / M.Salah / B.Fernandes / I.Sarr
Fwd: Raúl / Wood / Isak

0.5m in the bank. 1 FT.
