Continuing the Double Gameweek 32 Scout Notes is a Fantasy Premier League (FPL) round-up of Monday night’s Bournemouth v Fulham.

The numbers and graphics you see in this article come from our Premium Members Area. Here, you can access Opta player and team data from every single Premier League fixture.

KLUIVERT ABSENT AGAIN

Perhaps the most notable FPL issue came with the team sheets, as Justin Kluivert (£6.0m) once again missed out because of a muscle injury.

A run of six goals and four assists between Gameweeks 21 and 28 led to a peak ownership of 4.3 million but this is Kluivert’s third successive absence.

Most managers will have already sold the Dutchman, though he could be fit for Saturday’s trip to Crystal Palace. We wait for Andoni Iraola’s words.

JOY FOR SEMENYO

One of this season’s most frustrating FPL assets to own has been Antoine Semenyo (£5.7m). Bournemouth’s shot machine has accumulated the league’s joint-most attempts (113) but they’re often of low quality, averaging 0.08 expected goals (xG) each time.

FPL notes: Double relief for Semenyo, no Kluivert

Above: A graph from Statsbomb that shows the quality of Antoine Semenyo’s shots

Despite being goalless in eight matches, all it took was 52 seconds for Semenyo to break the deadlock here. A mistake from Antonee Robinson (£4.9m) put him through, coolly placing the ball into the far bottom corner.

Of course, the match he scored in happened to be one of his least-involved. It was the 25-year-old’s only shot, yet he racked up 10 points – his joint-second-best tally.

In further good news, Semenyo avoided picking up his 10th yellow card and has successfully reached the latest cut-off point. That means his next booking won’t bring a two-game ban.

KERKEZ CLEAN SHEET

That early strike was enough for the win, allowing the Cherries to secure their first one in seven outings. They leapfrog Fulham into eighth place.

Evanilson (£5.8m) could’ve made the victory more comfortable, with one of his four shots hitting the crossbar from inside the six-yard box. It’s the 21st time that Bournemouth have struck woodwork, a league high.

FPL notes: Double relief for Semenyo, no Kluivert 1

Above: Evanilson’s point-blank miss

The Brazilian almost won a late penalty, but Bernd Leno (£5.0m) was deemed to have got a glove onto the ball.

At the other end, Fulham entered the match having scored in 14 consecutive away trips. A mix-up between Dean Huijsen (£4.5m) and Marcos Senesi (£4.6m) almost led to a Rodrigo Muniz (£5.5m) equaliser but none of the Cottagers’ seven shots on target could find a way past Kepa Arrizabalaga (£4.6m).

Such saves meant the Spaniard scooped three bonus points and a tally of 11, while popular pick Milos Kerkez (£5.3m) collected seven points. His cross led to Evanilson’s big chance but it wouldn’t have been an assist.

PUNT ON SESSEGNON?

Fulham have alternated wins and losses over eight matches, which might be bad news for next opponents Chelsea. However, this pattern would also mean losing at Southampton in Blank Gameweek 34.

Managers using a Free Hit at that time may stay away from the Muniz and Raul Jimenez (£5.4m) rotation up front, though attacking full-back Robinson will get attention.

Those wanting an interesting out-of-position differential versus the Saints could look towards Ryan Sessegnon (£4.1m) instead.

Listed as a bargain basement defender, cutting in from the right wing has brought three goals and an assist in his last six runouts. Even more impressive is that half of these were cameo appearances lasting under 15 minutes.

Above: Ryan Sessegnon’s recent form

His nine penalty area touches were Monday’s most, though he was rueing an unmarked header that was disappointingly soft and straight at Kepa.

Maybe the goal would’ve arrived, had he not been mistakenly substituted in a 57th-minute farce.

Fulham’s triple substitution saw Sessegnon’s number shown on the fourth official’s board but it shouldn’t have been. Because he’d left the field and Adama Traore (£4.5m) stepped onto it, the blunder couldn’t be reversed.

It summed up Fulham’s night, really.

I can't afford Saliba, so seems the best Gabriel replacement to me. Prefer him to Bradley/Konate or a Villa defender personally.

Decent option. Chance city have double with Southampton in 36 or Forest with Leicester so either of those could be decent

    Quite tempted by KDB.
Original plan for my BB was Schar & Murphy to Merino and Dias (-4)
Now tempted by Schar Murphy & Robertson to KDB, Kiwior and Bradley (-8)
Will be FH34 and then City have great fixtures 35-38 so think the additional 4 point hit is worth it as arsenal will still have champions league semis etc

KDB is a gamble but one I'm also inclined to take, principally because trying to close a 30 point gap on ML leader and the guy 20 points ahead has a near identical team to me. Unless a differential pays off - and the main differences between us are in defence - could be a slow, frustrating grind. I'm just not sure KDB is worth -4, which is what gives me pause, given minutes risk. I'll probably do it anyway, 'cos it'll be fun.

My FPL Wizards, I need some help here. Deciding if my bench is worth BB.

Bench: Sels, Murphy, Livra and Murillo
    Team:
    Raya*, Munoz*, Konate, Digne*
    Salah, saka*, Palmer, Rogers*
    Isak, Marmoush*, Mateta*

    * are doublers and have 1 FT. Waiting for today's game before making any moves. Let me know what you think pls!

Well all the hype for BB 32 faded quickly & some struggled to get double digits, yet bet they all had monster scores sitting laughing during previous weeks.

Taking a -4 is never a good idea

Massive quotes on Mateta from Glasner's embargoed press conference and yet you come to scout (the world's number 1 fantasy premier league resource) and there's sweet FA about it. If I was on the writing staff, I honestly would have put a quick article or hot topic up last night.

I have 3 FTs. I am debating selling Gabriel, Murphy and/or Savinho and MAYBE Munoz. I would get DGW players in to replace them all. Things putting me off are Murphy's fixture against Leicester the following week. Savinho I do not think will play both games, so is basically a SGW player anyway. Gabriel is a no brainer. Munoz I am 50-50 about.

Clear candidates are Rogers or Acencio. Asencio only played 20 odd minutes last night so I think he will start at the weekend but I am unsure if he will start the following week.

For defenders, I am unsure. Most are getting Konsa or Kiwor but neither can keep a cleansheet at the moment.

KDB I am not sure will start both games either, and I would really struggle to get him in within budget (I think I would need a 4m defender if I want him).

    Any advice?

Looks like no FH34 ("Things putting me off are Murphy's fixture against Leicester the following week") so you need to get the balance right between DGW and BGW players in 33/34. Reminder DGW33 and SGW33 teams have the same number of fixtures across 33 and 34

Wait Newcastle have already played Leicester twice. Do you mean Ipswich? Are you planning to FH34 or not?

Yeah Ipswich sorry! I am undecided but probably yes as I have 3 City (might sell Savinho though) and 2 Arsenal (Gabriel is going though) at the moment and I am considering a Villa player.

I'm a bit lost, yeah, nailed KDB would be great considering their fixtures until end of season. If Foden is really not injured, it's even more complicated...

Thoughts on the options below with FH34/BB36 in mind?

    1. Keep and play Savinho, bench Isak
    2. Savinho Isak to KDB Wissa -4, bench Wissa
    3. Savinho to other mid (Rashford/Diaz/Bowen?)
    4. Isak to Watkins, bench Savinho

He's a hard bench m8, Will see how Mateta plays this evening as his minutes recently haven't been great. I think il play Sarr and then decide on Isak Vs Mateta, definitely not ideal snd could easily bench the wrong player.

Would it be a good idea for teams to have a point deducted for every Gameweek in which they have over a hundred clones in the top million at the start of that Gameweek?
Might encourage more players to think for themselves a bit more and to look for the odd differential instead of just blindly copying the teams of content creators or other top players.

One for those on AM glasner at the moment, what we thinking?

Obviously going to see how the game goes tonight, and if they beat Newcastle (unlikely) will stick with him for the next double.

But if they get beat tonight…..then reluctantly might have to shift to arteta.

No table bonus for the Bournemouth game either, so not sure if it’s worth it.

If you are looking to be brave I would go Glasner, As he is only Doubler with TB available,, Arteta or Slot would be best bet for points!! If Arteta plans on starting Saka every game now, I would rather have Saka for the double than Arteta!! Postecoglou could be a good differential, But, do you trust Spurs? That is my take for AM this week.

Well I think it’s magnificent and reminiscent of famous 1950s/60s Australian swords and sandals thespian Frank Thring!

Raya as in the guy who always lets in the only shot on target he concedes?

The same Raya ranked 2nd (GK) with 11 CS this season

CS odds wise Raya. Although the chances of him saving a pen ever are zero. The other GKs have a non-zero chance of doing so.

He is poor at saving pens, very surprised he's saved 5/39 (not including shootouts)

Sorry to ask a question that's probably been asked a thousand times on here. If I play my FH in GW34, do I still get to carry a FT into GW35 and therefore have 2 FT in 35?

You won't gain a transfer when you play FH.

If you used up all of your saved transfers in 33, you'll have 1 in 35.

Only banked transfers carry into the following GW after WC/FH

"Please note that when playing either a Wildcard or your Free Hit chip, any saved free transfers are maintained for the following Gameweek. If you had 2 saved free transfers, you will still have 2 saved free transfers the Gameweek after playing the chip."

    On FH in 34.

Which do you prefer out of the below:

Livramento to Saliba: IPS (A) / CRY (H) & play Bruno WOL (H).

Murphy to Rogers: New (H) / MCI (A) & play Neco Williams TOT (A).

    Just looking for advice.
I still have my Wildcard and bench boost. Can field a fairly decent team in 34.
    How would this go
    GW 35: wildcard
    GW 36: bench boost
GW 38: have 4-5 free transfers to target players from teams with something to play for

    Raya
    Saliba - Gvardiol - Munoz
    Salah - Saka - Sarr - Rashford
    Isak - Mateta - Marmoush

    Sels Murphy burn milenkovic
    0.9itb 2ft .
Murphy to rogers and bench isak?
    That gives 10 doublers.

    Afternoon all,
Any recommendations on how to use my transfer/s? 2FT £0.2 ITB. Planning to BB33 and FH34.

    Raya (Areola)
    Munoz Burn Gvardiol (Konsa Gab)
    Sarr Salah Murphy Saka (Foden)
    Mateta Marmoush Isak

Gabriel out for Saliba and I know the Foden injury isn't serious but I don't trust him minutes wise so I'd be looking to move him on for a Villa midfielder (Rogers or Rashford).
