Welcome to the Fantasy Football Scout mini-leagues and community competitions round-up after Gameweek 1. See this article for last season’s winners.
All the early leaders played a chip, either the Bench Boost or Triple Captain.
And most of them captained Erling Haaland (£14.0m), with some Mohamed Salah (£14.5m), Hugo Ekitike (£8.6m) and Cole Palmer (£10.5m) sprinkled in. The only ones who owned Salah were the three who captained him.
FFSCOUT OPEN-TO-ALL LEAGUE
Paulo Oliveira is the early leader of our Fantasy Football Scout mini-league (code ql9e6k) and is 30th overall. He had double-digit hauls from captain Haaland, Ekitiké, Tijani Reijnders (£5.6m) and Mohammed Kudus (£6.5m).
He has been playing since at least 2006/07 and came 2,673rd in 2016/17.
This season, FFS is offering prizes to the leader after Gameweek 3 and to the top 10 at the end of Gameweek 38.
FFSCOUT COMMUNITY MEMBERS LEAGUE
Brendan Russell-Cooper is on top of our Fantasy Football Scout Members mini-league, ranking 215th worldwide. His big scores came from captain Haaland, Ekitike, Reijnders, Kudus and Chris Wood (£7.6m).
This is open to anyone with an FFS account, the code to paste being found when clicking ‘View League Codes’ on the signed-in FFS Home Page.
LAST MAN STANDING
The safety score for Gameweek 1 in TorresMagic’s Last Man Standing (LMS) competition (league code skotto) was 41 after hits, with 75 of 1,488 teams eliminated.
It means that 1,413 are going through to Gameweek 2, including the highest scorer Joe Daly, currently ranked 4,097th overall.

Entry is currently closed, but will reopen after Gameweek 3 (the first two weeks of September) – a chance to replace the 200+ teams that will be gone by then.
FFS HEAD-TO-HEAD LEAGUES
Entries have now closed for MIR’s FFS Head-to-Head Leagues (code s947au) – but the leagues and fixtures have not been drawn yet, so don’t leave the Entry League.

FFS CUPS
There will be two FFS Open Cups and two FFS Members Cups this season.
FFS HALL OF FAME
The Career Hall of Fame is currently based on ranks up until the end of 2023/24, but will soon be updated to include last season.
Whereas the Live Hall of Fame does go up to 2024/25 and will shortly involve the most recent Gameweek.
MODS & CONS
Meanwhile, Kiran Parmar (FPL Brains) is leading the FFScout Mods & Cons mini-league despite captaining Palmer.

TOP 10K ANY SEASON
Roberto Losito (HuttonDressedAsLahm) leads my Top 10k Any Season mini-league (new code 6axmwm) and is 2,354th overall. He came 232nd in 2016/17 and has also had two other top 3k finishes.
This league is for teams with at least one previous finish inside the top 10,000.
MULTIPLE TOP 10K FINISHES
Melvin Mbabazi sits in the top spot of my Multiple Top 10k Finishes mini-league (new code tm6cxk) and is 7,697th overall. He’s had two top 5k finishes.
This league is for teams with at least two previous finishes inside the top 10,000.
Apologies to all those whose attempts to enter eligible teams in this league failed because of an out-of-date league code being listed for three weeks. Please try again with the new one.
TOP 1K ANY SEASON
John Forshaw is the initial leader of PDM’s Top 1k Any season mini-league (code rcxj6b) because of an Ekitike captaincy. He ranked 396th in 2020/21 after two earlier top 8k finishes.
MULTIPLE TOP 1K FINISHES
Chris Pearce sets the pace in Chabs’ Multiple Top 1k Finishes mini-league (code abwcxs) after captaining Salah. This manager has recorded three top 800 finishes and four more inside the best 7k.
TOP 100 ANY SEASON
Paul Mahoney leads Livinginapool’s Top 100 Any Season mini-league (code 5xdeje). He came 55th in 2009/10, 220th in 2018/19 and has also had two more top 9k finishes.
The team listed first by FPL (not shown here) has never even finished in the top 10 million.
FPL CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
2012/13 FPL Champion Matthew Martyniak is top of the pile in Simon March’s FPL Champions League after triple-captaining Salah.
He’s also had four other top 5k finishes, three of them inside the top thousand.
HALL OF FAME TOP 1K
Johnny Brosnan is leading Chabs’ Hall of Fame Top 1k mini-league (code 2c2m2q) after captaining Salah. He will be 390th in the Career Hall of Fame after its update.
This league is only for teams in the top thousand of the Career Hall of Fame, once 2024/25 is taken into account.
FPL VETS
Thomas Galkus is in first place in Skooldaze’s FPL Vets 2006 or before mini-league. He came 6,505th in 2019/20.
This league is only for teams whose FPL history goes back to the 2006/07 season.
OPENING DAY LEAGUE
Alistair Ross is the early leader of my Opening Day League and is 3,031st overall. He came 8,210th in 2018/19.
THE NEXT GREAT AND GOOD
Elsewhere, Brendan Russell-Cooper is at the summit of Greyhead’s The Next Great and Good mini-league.
BEAT THE FFSCOUT/PFT XI
Tony Mehmet has grabbed the lead in the Beat the FFScout/PFT XI mini-league, placed 1,118th worldwide. He came 182nd in 2011/12.
The Scout community team (Scout PFT) is 83rd in the league, on a total of 60 points.
NO SALAH NO HAALAND
Purple Panel is number one in FPL General’s No Salah No Haaland mini-league (code vnwit5), having triple-captained Ekitike.
HALL OF SHAME TOURNEY
Finally, Sandesh Boojhawan is in pole position of The Knights Template’s Hall of Shame Tourney (code vqc49y). Up in 165th overall, big scores came from captain Haaland, Wood, Richarlison (£6.6m) and Reijnders.
