We continue our series of articles for members focusing on the player Key Performance Indicators (KPI). This time around, we delve into the data to discover those forwards who favoured home comforts over 2013/14 and also assess the more consistent strikers who produced the same sort of attacking threat regardless of fixture.

For the unfamiliar, these Key Performers Indicator (KPI) tables are designed to use a series of key stats to allow our members to track form or change in player performance. By tracking the frequency of certain key statistics and comparing over two separate periods of time, we can ascertain each player’s form, whether it be an improvement or decrease in displays on the pitch. As mentioned in last summer’s introductory article, we’ve rolled out a preview movie which shows just how to get the best out of the KPI tables.

  RvP and Kun are both not certain to start the season in good form after a long WC.
  
  I'd actually go Rooney, Dzeko, Shaw and invest the rest of the money elsewhere.

    That isn't a bad call. I find it hard to choose between RVP and Rooney. Both have there downsides on form but promising fixtures. I have RVP at the moment until I see some preseason with them both

      the thing is, I don't think you'll see any preseason with RvP : if the rule that Wenger has to apply with his german players applies to RvP as well (and it should since Netherlands played their last game one day before Germany), RvP will only be back 3 or 4 days before the first game of the season.
      
      The FIFA rule is that players who have played the WC until the end have to have 4 weeks of vacation

Been trying not to do too many RMts but can I get some constructive feedback here.

Mcgregor Heaton (rotation)
Pieters N.Taylor (rotation) - Vermalen if at UTD - Vlaar if at SOT - Shaw
Sanchez - Odemwingie - Barton - Ash Young - Matic (fancy him as in a Yaya role)
RVP - Giroud - Costa

Obviously dependent on a couple of transfers but can afford Young > Januzaj or other 6.5 if needed

    Cheers LS. Young is only if he's a starter and Barton is just a cheapie who is on set pieces. Don't see many other goal routes from QPR.

  I think Vlaar would be a better pick at AV. That defence has been destroyed at Soton. How can they expect to go straight back to clean sheets again? Villa can only improve I think this season

  As for your midfield : Sanchez, yes. Odem, why not. Barton, not convinced. A Young, reaaaally not convinced. Matic, not sure about the Yaya role, he doesn't have Yaya's technical ability

      this. I can see him gradually getting more and more defensive or bench time.
      RVP will be the main man and LVGs comments on RVPs maturity after being dropped were pretty much the opposite of the pig's reactions when anything goes against him.

    Rooney will be up top in a 4-4-2, Gerrard still hogging set pieces.
    
    Yaya/Sturridge more likely not to provide value I reckon.

Valencia is a punt, but if I downgrade Hazard to Fab and DDG and Myhill to 4.5 and 4.5 I could have Giroud or another 8.5 instead of Valencia.

As for Gibbs, I got him because of his low ownership in comparison to Debuchy. As an Arsenal fan like yourself I just like having one of our defenders regardless of the fixtures.

Could use some help with my defense : I'm currently on Shaw, Debuchy, Cameron, Mariappa, Bruce, but I don't have a good feeling about it.
And all the talk on here about how a Chelsea defender is a must is not helping.

  Nobody is ever a must. If you feel you can cover the clean sheets with those why not? At thos values I would want to be pretty sure my cheaper players were going to start because you will be rotating them.

My Spine for my team is Cheap rotating GKs, 1 premium defender so I can change things up if a player becomes a must have, without taking a hit.
2 premium Midfielders so I can easily change any player without taking a hit (easier to do Sanchez > Ramsey Rather than vice-versa for example)
3 mid priced forwards who can score goals.

What do ye think of the players I have picked and which would you change and why. Thanks in advance.

If anyone could give me some advice I'd really appreciate it. Current team is:
Mannone Krul
Terry Ben Davies Demel Mariappa Wisdom
Hazard Ramsey Eriksen Sigurdsson De Jong
Rooney Dzeko Jelavic

Having done Debuchy -> Davies and Tadic -> De Jong means I have £1.0 in the bank, do I save or spend? Should I
A) Save it for flexibility
B) Improve GKs
C) Demel -> Shaw and not rotate defence
Get £0.5 from somewhere and
D) Ramsey -> Sanchez
E) Upgrade Jelavic to Pelle (fixtures) or Remy (Liverpool score a lot)
F) Other
I like the WHU/Palace rotation but no viable 4.5 WHU players. I'm punting on De Jong as long as his pre-season looks good, is it too risky to punt on Pelle as well? Southampton's fixtures look gold and I removed Tadic
Was originally going to play 352 but having a better third striker would be nice
With regards to getting £0.5, who out of Luis/Azpilicueta is nailed? Or can anyone help me with a good rotation for £9 that I can replace Demel/Mariappa with?
