Arsenal and Tottenham were both rebuffed in their attempts to sign Southampton’s World Cup star Morgan Schneiderlin this summer and hanging on to the French midfielder has proven crucial to the Saints’ ascent under new boss Ronald Koeman.

The 10.7% of Fantasy Premier League managers who have backed Schneiderlin have seen a phenomenal return from the central midfielder, who has chalked up 29 points in his last three appearances, courtesy of a trio of goals and four bonus points.

In our next members’ article of the week, we turn to the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) tables in order to assess Schneiderlin’s progress from the previous campaign under Mauricio Pochettino.

For the unfamiliar, these KPI tables are designed to use a series of key stats to allow our members to track form or changes in player performance. By tracking the frequency of certain key statistics and comparing them over two separate periods of time, we can ascertain whether a player’s form has improved or declined. As mentioned in last summer’s introductory article, we’ve rolled out a preview movie which shows just how to get the best out of the KPI tables.

By comparing this season to last, we should be able to get an indication as to how he will be utilised in Koeman’s new-look side and determine whether his high points return so far could be sustainable. By also referencing the Comparison Tool and season totals, we get a better indication as to how he fared:

Chambers in for PVA, straight swap with my 1FT this week?

    Is this obvious?

I was thinking of holding off this week and giving Hazard one last chance to get some points, otherwise next week change him to Fabregas and upgrade PVA to a 5m defender.

Trouble with a front 8 is the strong likelihood of missed points on the bench, I would bench Schniederlin, long term I would downgrade one of your midfield players to upgrade defense, or even balotelli to aguero maybe?

Are City now Arsenal in disguise?
Nasri,Clicky and Sagna are abject failures.
    Where is Zabaletta?
Why can't Aguero play 3 games a week?
Does Welbz need more chances than Andy Cole?
And hosè needs Costa and has azpi become he fall guy for the Chelsea rearguard failure ?
Liverpool needs sterling and are missing Suarez even Sturridge so much.
Rvp needs that op but who's gonna tell him? Falcaos goals might. And it seems LVG can't do what JM failed to do as well-find a spot for Mata?
The scene is set for the Madrid cast away and at 60m bucks one expects delivery,
Still so many questions and so liitle few answers!

Has Bruce completely abandoned three at the back and James Chester as a result?

“I think one of our strengths in the last couple of years has been to adapt and change and I’m sure over the coming months we’ll switch between two or three systems that we know we can play"

So to answer your question, no.

This. Having a quick fullback like him allows you to switch to 4 at the back again.

It also allows them to get Ramirez or Ben Arfa into the team

The UCL game is such a clusterf**k. I transfer out Moreno and they give him back his assist 🙄

ARE YOU F.ing kidding me?! I put Rakitskiy in as a sub for Bellarabi but now after the games he's been put on the bench. Almost benched Moreno too because of the dilly-dallying about his assist.

This UCL game is absolutely crap

I'm not taking it at all seriously, but if I put time and effort into thinking about team selection I expect better. What an embarrassment. Probably why they only have 250k players when they could easily have 5 times that if they got their act together.

The first time, and the last time.

It was the perfect game 3 years ago. Updated quickly and the servers didn't crash every 5 minutes.

Wanting Pelle in this week , will fund by getting rid of Debuchy for a hit. Best 4.5 defender appears to be NTaylor but given they are up against each other this weekend and essentially restricting each others points, seems silly to bring both in. Thoughts?

Yeah i hate playing players against eachother. Had Rooney vs Caulker this weekend as it was unavoidable (chambers didn't play and Wisdom played vs Everton) and it wasn't very fun at all. Really awkward.

Might be doing it again this weekend albeit with Begovic vs Caulker, but at least I can hope for a 0-0.

Is Sterling going to get game time this week? Or BR bring him on last 30 as that really messed me up last week points wise

He was rested last week for two reasons:

        1. He had spent 10 days with Roy Hodgson running him into the ground for no reason.

        2. Markovic was suspended for European games this week (red card in the EL semifinal last year) so it was impossible to rest Sterling vs Ludogorets with Sturridge out as well.

After their weekend performance, Brendan must surely realise Sterling is central to their attack. I'd expect him to start.

Debuchy to Dier? Could go cheaper, already have Clyne.
Will also allow me to bring in Baines.
