    Ideas for my 2FT's? £1.4itb

    Pantilimon
    Baines, Clichy, Dummett
    Yaya, Sánchez, Hazard, Siggy, Downing
    Costa, Austin

    (Alnwick, Sakho, Hutton, Wisdom)

Thinking Baines > Zab &/or Sakho > Kane?

I did baines > zab. Enough data is in, baines is just not producing and zab is. Better team for zab, too. With aguero out, zab is more of an attacking force.

Did the same earlier today. Took a look at Baines points for the first time and a while and almost spit my drink out. Been getting 1s and 2s for longer than I thought

Yeah he is just so hard to sell but I think it's time to go. Though Stoke at home is a good fixture I think he's out of form.

What if we keeping Baines one more GW v.s Stoke (H)

He had his stay of execution this week... Mirallas out didn't help one bit. Too much cash tied up in him for the odd CS... if it ever comes.

What do you think of this team?

    De Gea (Mannone)
    Ivanovic Clyne Dummet (Wisdom) (yun)
    Hazard Eriksen Oscar Sanchez (Boyd)
    Austin Lukaku Bony

    Lukaku & Boyd > Kane & Silva -4

Rodgers: "Six or seven months ago I was the manager of the year & I was going to be this and that, tactically this and tactically that (1/2)

Rodgers: "...because we lost two world-class players, one out of the club and one injured, I am useless." (2/2)

I wouldn't say that, he's a fantastic shot stopper. I think in a mid table side where that's really what they need he'll be great. If your going for Champions Leage though you need a commander of a GK.

And if he still is terrible when they sort out that defending then they look to replace. But to replace before sorting that out would be incredibly foolhardy.

He spent 120m. Instead of misusing 50m on Southampton, he should have bought better players. The rest of the signings are justifiable

And that's where the collision happens. FSG want the idea of having top potential at LFC. We will never be serious challengers under this method. The future never comes when you're living through it

Well said drughi. BR would have been better off if Arsenal had got Suarez last season as he wouldn't be dealing with this ridiculous expectation of the Liverpool fans and national media. If everyone takes a step back to before last season and see where Liverpool were not expected to even make the top 4 after finishing 7th the previous season (with Suarez) behind Utd, city, Chelsea, arsenal, spurs and everton.

One overachieving season later and expectation levels are ridiculous

Fair point. Might get a few games so. I like Manquillo but hee needs a lot of games to adapt to the Premier. Johnson is poor defensively but Rodgers sees something there that the rest of us can't. But Pool defence is still far from good.

those playing 3-5-2 is Barnes a decent cheap option? only 4.3 and has 2 goals in his last 2 game

Solid option, but fixtures are ugly. Kane is my 3rd striker in 3-5-2 formation.

Vokes on his way back, and Sordell and Jutkiewicz always a threat.

good shout. Even I've doubled up on RVP & Roo, and Siggy is annoying me. Cresswell still more of a priority?

this is my same dilemma, was down to 2 options. Now Debuchy (good shout) thrown into the mix. How much do you have to replace him with?

Got 5.4. But looking to downgrade Roo, as I have RVP

      Might do Siggy to downing/silva

Taking it. Villa at home and he's been unlucky in the past not to be on the scoresheet.

Thoughts on sanchez, rest against qpr?

        I think he'll start.

We have a small squad at the moment, so plenty of players will have to play QPR and West Ham. Therefore you would rest the players least able to play both games. Sanchez is probably the player best equipped in terms of fitness and recovery speed to play both games.

It is conjecture of course, but in the absence of further information, I'll be captaining him.
