Dugout Discussion – Arsenal vs Liverpool

The Gameweek rolls on with a showpiece fixture at the Emirates.

Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal host Liverpool in the tea-time encounter with a host of Fantasy talent on show.

On paper, this could be a tight and cagey affair but Arsenal’s injuries at the back may just prompt both sides to go on the offensive.

Certainly Jurgen Klopp has named an attacking line-up, spearheaded by Roberto Firmino and supported by new signing Sadio Mane and the guile of Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana.

That quartet with surely stretch the Gunners backline with Wenger forced to start with a pairing of Calum Chambers and new signing Rob Holding.

Wenger will look to Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott to provide a response at the other end, with Aaron Ramsey set to start in the number ten role in the absence of Mesut Ozil.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      Burnley will shut up shop and frustrate Liverpool.

      Liverpool do well when teams attack them.

        Yup. That's why I won't rush with getting their mid.

        They have Spurs after that who are good in defence, but it's always goal fest in that game. Not sure what to do then. After Spurs it's Leicester with their strong defence.

    Fellas, would appreciate a few opinions on what to do with my FT this week. I'm wildcarding after GW3 so it's short term gains I'm looking for.

    £1.5m ITB
    Mahrez - Hazard - Townsend - Ramirez - Leko
    Aguero - Vardy - Long

    The options I'm considering at the minute are:
    A) Vardy -> Ibra OR Kane
    B) Mahrez -> Mané
    C) Long + Mahrez -> Ibra + Redmond for a hit.

    Thoughts? Would be really appreciated.

      I like vardy to Kane and captain Kane, I personally can't do it as I didn't leave any itb, but it's a good option.

      C just seems too drastic imo

    Seems I was looking at my mates team, I'm actually 470k which is like finding a 20 note in my pocket 🙂 Even though the fast update it's still showing his rank from yesterday. He smashed it today but still showing a low rank.
