The Gameweek rolls on with a showpiece fixture at the Emirates.

Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal host Liverpool in the tea-time encounter with a host of Fantasy talent on show.

On paper, this could be a tight and cagey affair but Arsenal’s injuries at the back may just prompt both sides to go on the offensive.

Certainly Jurgen Klopp has named an attacking line-up, spearheaded by Roberto Firmino and supported by new signing Sadio Mane and the guile of Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana.

That quartet with surely stretch the Gunners backline with Wenger forced to start with a pairing of Calum Chambers and new signing Rob Holding.

Wenger will look to Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott to provide a response at the other end, with Aaron Ramsey set to start in the number ten role in the absence of Mesut Ozil.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    LMS safety score = 35

If you have score 35 or more and will probably score 40 or more, please enter LMS as there is a decent chance you will qualify for GW2.

Already got West Ham attacker and Kane, looked at the GW2 fixtures when I picked my team. I think they could do well, Bornemouth were woeful in defense. So I am saving FT, will probably get Ibra in GW3 for Hull....

Jesus. All those BB timing "strategically flawed" posts and ad nauseam boring discussions are just too much.
Just play it when you want to.
    I WCed in GW 32 and took a -16 followed by a -8. I had 15 DGWers and got a massive score.
Most importantly, it was great craic in an otherwise nightmare season for me.

seeing a lot of people doing tadic > Redmond, even though tadic had more touches in the box and looked a greater goal threat? Redmond's oop status misleading imo, playing more as a wide forward with tadic as a false 9

Agreed. I was at St Marys and Tadic was excellent. Redmond was good but should be part of the front 3 and not a striker. With Austin getting match fit i think Redmonds time as a striker is limited (Im an owner too).

Their average position was actually quite similar. Tadic is better technically and is on set pieces. He will outscore Redmond, it's just a question of if it will be by 1.5m worth of points

exactly why I don't understand people ditching tadic in favour of Redmond so quickly when tadic is playing just as OOP as Redmond, but didn't get the luck that reddy did

Despite having an awful 31 points from 10 (Haz to come), I plan to keep Vardy, Gray, Firmino and Tadic as I think they will come good in the long run. The only question mark for me is Townsend - having not seen the game or highlights I am debating swapping him for Lamela. Is this too kneejerk or sensible bearing in mind both Spurs and Crystal Palace have a nice run of fixtures to come? Cheers.

    Foster
    Valencia Stones Friend
    Alli Hazard Firmino Redmond
    Kun Vardy Grey

    Jakupovic Capoue Kone Amat

    A) Alli > Mane
    B) Alli > Lamela
    C) Grey > Negrado/Rondon
    D) Vardy > Ibrah (-4 would have to do B)

    C) is tempting for value and both Alli and Vardy were poor yesterday, but have decent fixtures so tempted by A or B

I wouldn't consider selling vardy before arsenal game.
      C or save imo

    Schmeichel 2
    Valencia 2
    Stones 2
    Townsend 2
    Tadic 2
    Firmino 2
    Gray 2
    Vardy 2

Plus Aguero (c), and two players left (Haz and Terry)

What an abomination of a week 😀

Done a -4 last night, Gray to Negredo but kind of regret doing tadic to lamela last night as could have easily done tadic to coutinho if I knew he was scoring 2

Anyways thinking of another move now and doing Deulofeu to Coutinho or maybe Deulofeu to Barkley or Snodgrass?

Nothing has changed that much that after 1 week your pick isn't good anymore.
Next time don't pick a player just because he has 1 good fixture 🙂

near the bottom of the mini leagues with the likes of tadic, firmino, gray and deulofeu flopping, should i get rid of any of these 4 players?

As a Firminho owner I am undoubtedly disappointed with 2 points after 4 goals. But I am encouraged that Liverpool seemed to click going forwards in the second half.

The biggest question for me right now is, how do Liverpool line up when Sturridge returns? Assuming Sturridge comes straight into a cental stiker position, where does Firminho go?

Firm will play No.10 or out wide - He's nailed on and Klopp loves him
