After Everton defeated West Ham 2-0 at Goodison earlier, we now turn our attentions to St Mary’s as Southampton entertain Chelsea at 4pm.

Diego Costa and Eden Hazard boast the greatest threat as the Blues look to grab a fourth successive league win.

The Spain international – who remains one yellow away from a single-match ban – has netted four goals in as many road trips, whilst Hazard has notched in each of his last four starts for club and country.

Chelsea’s recent move to 3-4-3 has harvested three straight clean sheets in the top-flight, though their hosts have been similarly resilient in front of their own fans.

The Saints have conceded just one goal in their last five home matches in all competitions and have been breached on only eight occasions over the first nine Gameweeks.

With a trip to Hull next up on their agenda, Nathan Redmond and Charlie Austin have the chance to stake a claim for our consideration, as the latter looks to net for the third successive league outing.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

    10 years, 8 days ago

    A) Antonio>Sigurdsson/Tadic/Arnautovic/Chadli
    B) Sterling>Coutinho, then A) next week for free after Antonio plays Stoke at home
    C) Both for a hit

I really want Coutinho and want to get rid of Antonio, but I feel like it could backfire selling Sterling (MID) and Antonio (STO) for a hit.

  13. Swan - Villa Proud
    10 years, 8 days ago

No room for Hazard yet but on the radar. Replace Firmino I think

    1. Bubz
      10 years, 8 days ago

      Why would you replace Firmino

      1. big_cliff
        10 years, 8 days ago

        Coutinho suffices as Liv cover

        1. Bubz
          10 years, 8 days ago

Lol that makes no sense. Firmino is scoring points. Having Coutinho or "cover" is irrelevant

          1. big_cliff
            10 years, 8 days ago

            Fair enough.

Hazard should outscore Firmino imo over a set of games if they're both fit

Firmino doesn't score as many points as I'd like him to.

    Sanchez>Hazard frees up a massive 1.4M

Obviously both are nice to have but you need balance if you already own Lukaku/Aguero in your side and two Liverpool midfielders.

why swap out someone who hasnt played yet (shaq)
why would you lose cout in his form and fixtures

      foster out is ok

      overall....no

  23. Lallana_

I feel as though people are ignoring KDB. He'd be a great shout for the next three weeks, then it's easy to take him out for Hazard.

    1. Bubz
      10 years, 8 days ago

Agreed. Bit worried about him being rotated though if hes not 100% fit

    2. ⭐ Bemba_Da ⭐
      10 years, 8 days ago

there are too many options, i want kdb, coutinho and hazard and have sanchez. can't afford them all

      1. Lallana_
        10 years, 8 days ago

That's why I'm waiting on Hazard. He has 3 goals in 3 games but with tough ones coming up it's too risky to tinker. Waiting until GW15 for him.

KDB is just a luxury at this point unless you get rid of Sanchez.

      2. Chenku╰☆╮

        Sell kun and you can..

    3. Scholes Balls
      10 years, 8 days ago

Sanchez has a higher potential for goals and you cant fit both in a team

  24. tm245
    10 years, 8 days ago

With the big four South Americans in my squad, will be tempting to ditch one of the mids for Hazard or KDB so I am not left too thin in attack after the next int'l break.

Jeez, this FPL game can kick you in the balls sometimes.

Captained Ibra this week, and sold Hazard two weeks ago for Ozil who had Boro at home and then Sunderland away. Hazard scored twice in that time and has 70mins left to add to it.

    1. Lallana_
      10 years, 8 days ago

Both were good moves tbf. No point of owning Ibra if you can't captain him at home to Burnley.

Exactly. And you can't ask much more than your captain having 12 shots at goal ha.

Hazard lost me .2 as well ha

    RMT

    Pickford
    Walker, Lovren, Holebas
    Sanchez, Firmino, Coutinho, Son
    Aguero, Lukaku, Deeney

    Jakupovic, Amat, Fletcher, Kelly

    1 FT, 1.1 ITB

    A. Jakupovic --> Heaton? (Great form) Foster? (Rotates much better with Pickford)
    B. Son --> Don't know? Redmond?
    C. Deeney --> Austin

    Thanks for any advice!

  29. Kun Tozser
    10 years, 8 days ago

    Would you do:

    Sterling > Hazard

But would leave Allen/Britton as 4th mid rotation

    Or

    3rd Siggy 4th Chadli 5th Allen

  30. Lecky Legs FC

Move will be made if Costa gets his YC tonight just brainstorming for now worth doing a -4 hit on one of the following options:

    A) Antonio & Costa > Hazard & Deeney

    B) Antonio & Costa > Hazard & Musa

    C) Antonio & Costa > Hazard & Callum Wilson
