A little bit of extra cash always comes in handy at this time of year – and you could have £10k in your back pocket by the end of Gameweek 16, simply by predicting Fantasy points returns in five weekend Premier League matches.

And, best of all, it’s completely free to play!

We’re talking about Fantasy5, where there are also various other prizes on offer beyond the whopping jackpot. You can even set up a mini-league and compete with colleagues, friends and family – something we’ve done.

Fantasy Football Scout recently unveiled a nine-week battle that pits 10 staff members and Pro Pundits against each other. To determine who truly has the best eye for a Fantasy player, the FFS Challenge mini-league will take place between Gameweeks 12 and 20.

A small prize is up for grabs but, more importantly, so are bragging rights.

HOW DOES FANTASY 5 WORK?

Fantasy5 is free to play and it follows the exact same scoring system as FPL, just without the bonus points.

It’s as simple as this: pick a player from each of the five selected Gameweek matches and, if they all exceed their individual ‘points targets’ (a par score set by Fantasy5), you’ll be in the money.

Even if you don’t succeed in getting all five right, Fantasy5’s leaderboard allows you to win prizes beyond the £10k jackpot – there’s £500 up for grabs for the Fantasy manager topping the leaderboard

Competition is limited to one entry per person per round. Full terms and conditions are here.

£100 prize every month in Scout's Fantasy5 mini-league

SCOUT’S RESULTS FOR GAMEWEEKS 14 AND 15

The FFS Challenge has had two rounds since the last article – the midweek Gameweek 14 fixtures, followed by Gameweek 15 at the weekend. Here is the current mini-league table:

GAMEWEEK 15

The weekend brought a second Gameweek without any success for our 10 competitors, mainly due to popular choices being injured or rotated.

Ivan Toney was most-selected for Leeds United v Brentford, only to miss out because of a positive Covid-19 test.

Following Jamie Vardy‘s substitute appearance on Sunday, Gameweek 15 ended with a no-show from Emile Smith Rowe and a place on the bench for the player who had most picks amongst the five games – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The following players exceeded their points target: Shandon Baptiste, Ezri Konsa, Fred, Demarai Gray, Kieran Tierney, Ben Davies and Davinson Sanchez.

GAMEWEEK 14

Things went more smoothly a few days prior, with only Geoff and FPL Marc failing to succeed. Sergio Reguilon was successfully chosen by six of the 10, with three opting for Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo against Arsenal. ElFozzie chose both, with players like James Maddison and Andrew Robertson delivering FPL returns but still not quite able to reach their Fantasy5 points target.

The following players exceeded their points target: Sergio Reguilon, Jan Bednarek, Jonny Evans, Cristiano Ronaldo, Fred, Mohamed Elneny, Emile Smith Rowe and Jordan Henderson.

Later this week, the selections for Gameweek 16 will be revealed, as we reach the middle round of the FFS Challenge.

Just a reminder that if you have 11 players ruled out this week, you shouldnt complain about it, and luck will even out 🙂

You guys just want to complain about bad luck before it even happens. It's kinda sad really.

Moan if you have to, I do too, but after it clears, you'll find there are more opportunities out there. Maybe even better ones for you to get ahead.

I'm not complaining. I am willing to show empathy to those who get bad luck and not tell them they shouldnt complain

I'm empathetic. It sucks when you're unlucky.

But it's better still to look on the bright side and look at how you can use it to your advantage.

Maybe 'don't complain' is the wrong first impression, but it wasn't the core sentiment. It's more that you should see it as an opportunity, which it is.

They problem is I'm competing against people that are as good as me so getting a lot more bad luck than them means I cant beat them and thus lose my money mini leagues lol

This is the problem. The top 5 in my ML finished top 20k last year. I’m the only one with the Spurs triple up, which could now leave me players short (and high value ones at that) for the second time in 3 weeks despite having an average bench. I really hope the game goes ahead, even if I was much keener on transferring out Kane than Son for obvious reasons

    1. McCarthy to DDG (I don’t have another keeper)

worst case scenario, you have 9 starters assuming you dont know ESR if will start, you have to make a move that has the best chance of giving you a better score. If Son is ruled out for one game, you might want to make the DDG transfer IMO. I think they have a good chance of a clean sheet and its a good move going forward.

        Thanks mate.

Yeah worst case I'm looking at the below if THEY all start which is pretty bad! Think it all depends if Son is only out for one game, if that's the case I'll get DDG but if not I'll possibly have to take a -8 :(.

        TAA Cancelo James Livramento
        Salah Bilva Sissoko
        Ronaldo King

I might do Son + Sanchez out rather than Son + Gilmour out. DDG can prove to be a great pick moving forward.

Small chance of Ronaldo rest, don't think he will want to miss a chance to stat pad Vs young boys even with qualification guaranteed so can he play 3 in a week? And livra is due a rest soon and with your luck it has to be this week!

With Ogbonna out for the season and Zouma out long term. I expect West Ham to play a back 3 of Dawson, Diop and Cresswell more often than not.

If this were the case Bowen would play up front alongside Antonio like he did at the weekend vs Chelsea.

    Seriously good value.

Personally dont see it mate. Dawson and Diop are our only CBs that are not on the injury table.

Unless he brings in one of our (very promising) young CBs from the u23s as cover I cant see him moving to a back 3 on a consistent basis over the festive period.

Lots of talk of us going in for Tarkowski in Jan - long way off yet of course in terms of GWs.

I tweeted myself on this. I don't think it's a certainty but of course it could be the case.

Cheers guys, interesting to see how West Ham shape up on Thursday. But i think they are through so that may not shine any light.

    Any news about ESR?

Got him for 5,3 so don't want to sell him unless hes ruled out for a couple of weeks.

I got him at same price, but if he is out, his price will drop and Bowen's will rise. So banking that 0.4 million and getting Bowen who has better fixtures is hardly big monetary issue.

He was going to have a late fitness test before his last match so must have been close

Looks like I could be out in the first round of the cup. Haha.

Opponent is an active manager currently with:

    Ramsdale
    Dias Rudiger Livra
    Salah Jota Raphinha Gallagher
    Ronaldo Antonio King

I sold the donkey Kane on Sunday.

He's been so crap he'd probably play better with Omni

Likely to miss three games according to this. Son had a false positive on international duty a few weeks ago.

    Thoughts on below?

    Only Son out:
    1. Toney Son to CR7 4.5mid (benched)
    2. Toney Son to King/Dennis Sterling/Foden/Sancho/Bowen/Bsilva
    3. Toney Son to Antonio Foden/Sancho/Bowen/Bsilva

If Vardy plays on Thursday, both out:
    4. Vardy Toney Son to CR7 King/Dennis Foden/Bowen/Bsilva -4

Looks like my cup run will end even before a ball is kicked. 3 Spurs + Brighton in my team vs 0 in his. Plus he has the likes of Bernardo, Ramsdale, Vardy, etc.

The current article should really about the Covid issue in Spurs as opposed to pushing a gambling site imo.
