I see a Bet365 article where there was an affiliate link to sign up for a new account.

"Commissions with the Bet365 affiliate program are fixed at 30% net profit. Basically, any customers that you attract to Bet365 need to have losing bets for you to earn commissions. With the Bet365 you can promote the sportsbook, the online casino and the poker.

At the end of the day, the more customers that you have that make losing bets, the more commission you will make."

    https://casinorobots.com/en/bet365-affiliate-program/

So basically, FFS want you to sign up to Bet365 and hope you lose as much money as possible.

Almost as bad as encouraging people to sign up to Football Index or whatever it was called, which then went bankrupt and people lost everything. And then forgot they’d ever mentioned it

That article should be deleted immediately. How many people will sign up for a free bet365 account off the back of it and end up with a gambling problem? Even unethical Andy won't work with gambling companies anymore after the backlash he received.

Advertising misery for millions. Considering the PL are introducing a ban on betting firms featuring on shirts it should have no place on a site like this & definitely be removed from the pitch surrounds at grounds.

This site more than ever previously has become exclusively profit orientated .The current owners couldn't give a monkeys how that profit is generated . Additionally a significant number of articles appear to be knocked up just for the sake of posting something new with scant attention to the content.

    Re: Arsenal and Timber

Will Timber go RB and support/overlap Saka, who will be on the right of a front three?
Will White go LB to shore up defence because Zinchenko is not as firm defensively as White?
I assume Arteta has bought Timber to be a fully-fledged RB, zooming forwards to support attacks?

Interested to see how Maddison gets involved in dead ball situations.
Will Son still take corner kicks?
And who will take the direct free kicks, Mads or Kane?
Outcome of this can hugely effect Maddisons appeal.

KDB just back from injury so makes sense but this dampens the appeal of Foden IMO. People were pinning their hopes on KDB being injured for a bit. I had Foden but now punting on Alvarez as fits my structure better. Whether I have him come GW1 is anyone's guess.

I'm hoping Enciso or João Pedro emerge as starting options in preseason. Neither started in the friendly last night and the sending off didn't help with getting an idea of shape in the second half.

JP had some decent touches, won the penalty and took it. I think Gross had gone off by then and JP grabbed the ball for the pen.

Hi folks! I've read thousands of comments here over the last few weeks, and following the pre-season games as much as I can. I haven't changed the core of this team in about a week, so maybe that's a good sign.

    Ramsdale (4 - now Kelleher)
Estupinan, Udogie, Botman (Pau, 4 - now Beyer)
Salah, Fernandes, Maddison, Enciso (4,5 - now Nakamba)
    Haaland, Jesus, Nkunku

0.5 ITB. I was also thinking that if the easier matches come for Bournemouth, Nakamba could be upgraded to Kluivert.

The core is based on covering the LIV, MCI, ARS, MUN, CHE, TOT six in attack.

My favorite pick this year is Udogie, ok it's a wait and see but so far he's fun to own.

Probably not the strongest team overall, but I prefer this 3-4-3 lineup.

Unless you've got the squad depth to challenge in champions league football, there does seem to be a buffer zone and trade off with premier league form if finishing in the Europa League places.

It's a bridging point but a domestic cup trophy along with a solid league campaign would be a successful season.

They have a great manager and have consolidated really well during this transfer window. Playing in Europe will possibly stretch them a bit this season, but they should do really well otherwise.

Villa's transformation from when they played Newcastle at SJP to the return game at Villa Park was pretty incredible.

I think they'll finish in the 6th-9th bracket in the league. Europa League usually impacts teams in the league, but definitely a club on the up under Emery. Emery rejecting Newcastle and us getting Howe instead is a definite sliding doors moment.

Bench Boost GW1 - not popular amongst many in the community, but I just feel it could pay off this season, given that there's no World Cup & less chance of postponements (e.g. Covid). Plus, I believe we have one less wildcard than last season, so there'll be less opportunities to use the Bench Boost wisely. Triple Captain & rotation are also other factors during DGWs.

    Here's the draft:

    Ederson
    Trent - Chilwell - Porro
    Rashford - Son - Saka (C) - Foden
Kane - João Pedro - Ndiaye
    (Pickford - Kerkez - Ahmedhodžić - Kluivert)

    - Haaland not in draft as I wouldn't captain him until GW6.
    - Not many have City defenders due to rotation risk, so I've used that money for Ederson.
    - Bournemouth & Sheffield Utd have a winnable GW1 fixture. They can rotate with each other & João Pedro during the tough gameweeks.

    Thoughts?

True, but the only risk in that lineup imo is João Pedro, who can easily come off the bench and score anyway. Kluivert should start.

If going with bench boast gw 1 feel possible Kerkez - Ahmedhodžić - Kluivert need
      to check.

No one knows wht is going to happen & going with Kane over Haaland - wishing you all the best,
I did that GW1 last season & rest of season was catchup

Question is, how you plan to offload this squad later. Wildard? GW2 or later? The answer to this question will determine number of gameweeks’ fixtures, you’ consider. Imo, Trent in GW1 not the best option for BB. You’d do better spreading these funds across the team. Chilwell in GW1 not the best fixture either? Why not boring picks such as Estupiñan and Shaw?

      1. adstomko
        • 9 Years
        2 years, 4 months ago

A wildcard within the first 8 GWs is common, but if this strategy pays off, I may not need to consider any major changes. Only change I may consider long term is Kane > Haaland/Salah.
I think the rotation amongst the lower price players could work, something not many are considering to do.

I agree that Trent and Chilwell aren't the best options for GW1, but they are necessary for GW2 onwards. Therefore, I can use Bench Boost GW1 in case they blank.

Just checked and yes, 4th in the league

        Nunez - 0.93
        Haaland - 0.92
        Wilson - 0.85
        Jesus - 0.75
        Salah/KDB - 0.72
        Bruno/Welbeck - 0.66

The FPL bandwagon will be 3-4-3 with Pedro and Jackson up front next.

Are any of United’s 4.5 defenders nailed?

No but fancy Wan Bissaka to get the nod as things stand.

I am punting on WanB, seems first choice but wouldn't say nailed.

No, Wan-Bissaka and Malacia will play, but they will rotate. If Varane goes down (yet again) and the club doesn’t sign another CB, Lindelof could be a shout though.

Considering that flexibility is super important at the beginning, if you already have Nkunku is it better to go for Martinelli over Jesus as there are more midfield choices than forwards?

I think it's better to go for Martinelli over Jesus in any case let alone just for structural reasons so I'll say yes

Anyone got any thoughts on a new FFS member's team?

    Pickford/Areola
    TAA, Young, Botman, Beyer, Ahmedhodzic
    Foden, Eze, Martinelli, Rashford, Enciso
    Haaland, Nkunku, Jesus

Cheers and bring on the new season!

It's pretty good but no Saka might be a compromise too far.

Defence could be dicey some weeks too.

Too much up front and with Trent in my view.

    A) Foden + 5m
    B) MGW + Mitoma/Mbuemo

Only need 1 to play each week

I can just tell City lineups are going to wind me up every week. Might just stick with Haaland only.
