It could be Nketiah, Balogun, or Trossard. Personally, I would go with the third option, but we will see who is going to start in the Community Shield and how he performs.

Nketiah or Trossard. Based on preseason form I'd say Trossard has the edge.

It's a tough one. Jesus being out could reshape my whole team in the sense that a 5.5 forward in Eddie, who captained and scored today is a temptation that's hard to ignore.
Plus home games so would expect a striker more in the Eddie mould. Or perhaps Trossard in there with the expectation that Arsenal will need more technical players in and around that area. But still, a 5.5 potential starter in a top 4 team isn't found anywhere else. Dilemma dilemma

You’d think it would be Trossard but Arteta has a weird obsession with Nketiah

If Arteta plays another striker over Eddie, can consider that his career at Arsenal as good as over. Especially Home to Forest. Will cause discord in the squad if he can't even get in as no.2 striker

Perhaps but he gave Eddie a run when Jesus was injured, it stopped working and he made the switch to Trossard after City at home.

Sunday will tell all I think.

Lots stopped working for Arsenal when Arteta got out of his depth. Playing without a striker may be a stretch for him.

I quess, 10 games is a too long interval to make conclusions about the best defence. Definitely need a rotation using at least one of 4.5m defenders. I like your option, but sure Onana will be blanked in GW2 and GW4. I prefer switch Onana to Ramsdale and Gabriel to Dalot, it allows me make a rotation for the tough fixtures.

Biggest problem with that is the odd game where Haaland doesn't play, you end up with 0 points from the forward spot since the min cost forwards don't play at all.

    Pickford
    Gabriel - Estupiñan - Pau

Foden could be fabulous, I like it, if Trossard fires in the CS then I might go with the below which is extremely explosive.

      Onana
      Chilwell Stones Gabriel

      Haaland Nkunku
      Areola Henry Baldock 4.5

This is the best team I can think of. From GW3 I'll use 2FT to put Chilwell in and Mbeumo/Richarlison or any other players around this price bracket if needed. Im not worried about my defense Im sure there is a 4m defender that plays. What are your thoughts?

    Onana (4.0)
    Estupiñan Stones Gabriel (4.0 4.0)

Yeah Nketiah was available. He was playing poorly and got dropped for Trossard.

Fair enough if true, but my original reply is the biggest factor to your original question

Havertz was poor as a striker/false 9 for Chelsea, said himself it's not his best position, and Arteta referred to him as a midfielder which is where he has played throughout preseason. He's an option there but I would be surprised.

But your OP was 'Last season when Jesus was injured Martinelli stayed left and Trossard was through the middle. Why would it be different this time?'

The simple answer is that hey now have Hazertz. He is why is could be different

And I've explained why I don't think Havertz will make a difference.

Clearly he's not first choice anymore. Everyone, remove Saka asap.

If they were all the same price who would you pick between Foden, Mbeumo, Eze and Mitoma?

      Foden

Foden. But they are not the same price, so I would go with Eze plus £1m

Pretty good to be honest. Alvarez, Wissa, Trossard could all pay off big.

        Alvarez seems a massive punt.

    Pickford

    Shaw Estupinan Gabriel

    Saka Martinelli Bruno Rash Foden

    Watkins Haaland

Worried about no City defensive cover and no Brighton attack against Luton.
