    Completely off of Liverpooll...

    Sitting on this.

    Onana / Areola
    Gabriel / Tarkowski / Estupinan / Baldock / Stones
    Saka / Mitoma / B. Fernandes / Eze / Foden
    Halland | Jesus (Watkins) | J.Pedro

2M€ in the bank (a lot of flexibility for first changes)

    Watkins if Jesus injured
Foden can change to anyone below 9.5 (0.0 ITB)
    Stones can change to Chilwell
J.Pedro can change to Nkunku.(0,0 ITB)

    Any thoughts?

With the extended game time and 5 subs it’s highly unlikely that players under rotation don’t come on. Cameos all round, but at least there may be more time for impact.

Yeah, I just mentioned that the likes of Archer and Mubama might get decent minutes.
On the other hand, those 98th minute loss of clean sheets!

Is anyone thinking of captaining Saka in gw1?

Maybe but he will not be fit for Arsenal.

"Henderson made a positive impact during his loan spell last season, when the 26-year-old former England player made 18 Premier League starts. But he also missed the second half of the campaign with a thigh injury, which he is still recovering from. He would be unlikely to be fit to face Arsenal on the opening day."

If you're going to captain Saka gw1 will you go without Haaland until gw3 and go Salah instead (captain Salah gw2?)

    6. The Mentaculus

Probably Haaland tbh. Haven't seen enough of Burnley yet to suggest that'll be a tougher fixture than Forest. But will keep an eye on that LB situation. And I don't intend to permacap Haaland

If you think Saka is most likely to score the most points then go for it - FPL should be a game about instinct and judgment.

    On McAllister

"So firstly I got the information that it's too painful, so that was then clear that we will change. There's no need to push him through.

"When I spoke afterwards, he said, 'No, no, I would have been fine.' But we didn't want to go [with] any risks. It's just knee on knee, bruise, that's it. It was fine."

        Matip/Gomez/Konate poor injury record.

I like planning my keeper options, so thought I'd summarise my understanding of keeper status club by club.

    Arsenal:
Ramsdale 5.0 (but possible threat if they buy Raya 5.0)

    Villa:
    Martinez 5.0

    Bournemouth:
Neto 4.5 (but Radu 4.5 just brought in)

    Brentford:
Flekken 4.5 looks likely, but possibly Raya 5.0 if he stays, Strakosha 4.0 has played half an hour in each of the last 2 preseason games

    Brighton:
Either Steele 4.5 or Verbruggen 4.5

    Burnley:
    Trafford 4.5 or Muric 4.5

    Chelsea:
Arrizabalaga 5.0 (possible threat if they bring in Sanchez)

    Crystal Palace:
Johnstone 4.5, but Matthews 4.0 has had an equal share of keeping duties in prseason so far

    Everton:
Pickford 4.5, but Virginia 4.0 has had an equal share of keeping duties in preseason so far

    Fulham:
    Leno 4.5

    Liverpool:
    Alisson 5.5

    Luton:
Shea 4.5 with more preseason action than Macey 4.0, but reportedly in the market for a new keeper

    Man City:
    Ederson 5.5

    Man Utd:
    Onana 5.0

    Newcastle:
    Pope 5.5

    Forest:
Horvath 4.5, but Shelvey has played most of preseason and not added to FPL

    Sheffield:
Foderingham 4.5, Adam Davies 4.0 with plenty of minutes in preseason

    Spurs:
Vicario 5.0 and Austin 4.0 sharing duties in preseason in the absence of Lloris 5.0

    West Ham:
Fabianski 4.5, some minutes for Areola 4.0

    Wolves:
    Sa 5.0

Johnstone played 90 mins in the last game with what looked like the first choice back 4 of Ward, Guehi, Anderson & Clyne.

It's a logical decision to give the understudy a chance to prove himself in pre season.

Pickford, Leno, Fabianski, Johnstone & Flekken probably the pick of the 4.5s

Best rotation pairings from those 5 are:

        Flekken + Leno
        Flekken + Johnstone

What's your view on Martinez in the pecking order?

I think Onana is the obvious choice at 5.0. Villa with the distraction of Europa Conference too.

Matthews is awful. We are actively looking for a secod keeper.

Ironically, it might be that Guaita is sold to Getefe and we buy there keeper David Soria as a no.2

Matthews went to St Johnstone on loan last year, when we had Jack Butland all at the same time

I might be down to my last decision and it's a big one as it involves everyone's favorite Chelsea reject.

    1. Salah + Jackson + Baldock
    or
    2. TAA + Foden + Watkins
    or
    3. TAA + Foden + Jesus

I'm on B or C, depends on Jesus making the CS squad on Sunday due to this slight injury

The only problem with B or C is the bench. Chukwuemeka and Mubama occupy two slots and the third one might actually have to end up being one of TAA or Watkins, which kind of scuppers the plan...

Are there any viable 6.0 midfielders?

Trying to derisk my fwd line by turning Darwin into Jesus/Watkins depending on if Jesus is in the CS squad.

But need that 0.5 and the Mitoma/Eze slot looks best bet

Let's face it, we've all been burnt by at least half of our squads in the past. But he's basically the best you can hope for at that price, unless you switch to an enabler (or even a 5.5 McNeil or Danjuma) and upgrade elsewhere.

My first RMT, I'm a tad more casual nowadays..any thoughts?

    Onana
    Stones, Gabriel, Estupinan
    Mitoma, Saka, Rashford, Odegaard, Foden
    Haaland(c), Nunez

    Areola, chilwell, kabore, semenyo

It's fairly template I've got 9 but could go up to 10/11 of these

The Nunez v Gakpo option is a risk.

      Yes

Always is but most won't go there.

Which makes him a better pick too.

Poch said below of colwill.. (so does that mean secure or too risky?)… Of course there is the possibility to play, because Ben [Badiashile] is injured. [His chances] are higher because he is left [footed] and you know it’s a centre-back and he will compete with Ben. But he needs to deserve [it].

I like Colwill but feel as though squeezing 1M for Chilwell with reap much higher rewards.
