Anyone considering playing Turner? Forest have looked decent, Utd have looked blunt up front. Could be one of those fixtures for lots of save points etc?

Gut feeling is that Man Utd might react this weekend though- despite no evidence so far.

Got lost; trying one more time - sanity check me pls!

I need to shift Shaw. 1FT.

    A) Shaw -> Akanji / Walker (already own Gvardiol)
    B) Shaw -> Botman (getting ready for NEW fixture swing)
    C) Shaw -> Chilwell

Am I insane to not do (C)?
It’s just so… boring. Tempted to chase the thrill of a double Man C defence as differential, and hide whenever Chelsea are playing.

Planning to bring in Sterling next week, depending on how he looks tonight. FWIW.

Bumping some wildcard under the radar pick tips got bottomed last page

In this sea of wildcard teams flying around I've noticed a distinct lack of some of the players I most want to get in my team. If I were wildcarding I'd definitely be bringing in isak, Alvarez, trippier. And I would want to keep eze, Bowen and TAA. With the exception of a few Alvarez's I don't see any of these guys in wildcard teams. Maddison if not injured would be straight in too. Son as a placeholder seems very tempting.

Confuscious say manic monkey chase yesterday's banana but stay hungry. Wise monkey don't chase just find fresh banana today

I like the idea. I would prefer to not have Trippier now, but a plan to get him in the next 2 weeks or so. I cant take Isak with the way Newcastle use Wilson, although again thats more because I really like the idea of 3 of Haaland, Alvarez, Jesus and Wissa moving forward. Eze and Bowen I agree - though Bowen losing a lot of set pieces hurts his xA. TAA I cant touch at 8 but I do see the appeal - Pool need Endo to play as a true 6 and be really good there. Wait and see.

Overall, I do agree. Not enough NEW coming into peoples teams. Too many BRI. I would personally be looking to make sure I use all 3 City slots asap.

        • 16 Years

Yeah fair enough on isak. There's risk there. My prediction is we won't see Wilson ST/Isak LW as much this season. I think isak breaks out this year and plays 60-80 minutes most games with Wilson getting 20-30 and occasional starts when isak is rested. Barnes and Gordon to play on the left

    Pickford
Chilwell Estu Saliba --- Udogie Kabore

    A) Hold if Maddison is out for only 1gw..Udogie comes on for Maddison
    B) Maddison > Foden (-4)..even if we maddy could return next week, doubt we will get full confirmation that maddison will return next gw with intl break coming

Udogie, as I guess this is part of why you have him anyway. Then Shaw to someone for free next GW instead, with one more week's worth of data. For example, it could become a bit clearer that none of the City defs is nailed, so you'd go somewhere else with your FT (maybe Henry)

If my defender gets injured, I'd have to play Kabore or Baldock 😀

Move Gabriel onto Dias with my second FT this week? Would probably do it anyway next week.

I just love those stats Gabriel has v Fulham! Would prefer 2FT next week to clean up midfield.

If you have a plan for next week to clean up your midfield, just hold Gabriel and see what his role is with so many injuries to their backline. Probably costs you points this week, but gives you more flexibility next.

I would personally bench Pedro, but only because I am more sure on minutes and role with the other two. In saying that, Watkins did play minutes midweek and Pedro off rest - Seem to be less nailed attacking assets than usual.
