If a miracle happens and Bowen* (shu) plays then...
who would you bench instead, knowing they will auto-sub if Bowen is a no-show?

    Foden Palmer Gordon Richarlison
    Solanke Watkins J.Alvarez
    Bench: Bowen*

I always activate my 2nd WC as soon as possible. Don’t fancy holding on to it.

So these injuries just make me giggle while I remove the injured players with a goal of eliminating those above my rank.

It is a marathon for most but I have found a good formula this season, it is a race for me & this season I will try to break into the top 100k again after years of having a shitty rank.

Enjoying the price rise too 😉

It's been predictable - ironically not by the price predictors. A quick initial drop of 0.1m followed by a slow progression under the red flags to a second drop over 1 to 3 weeks if at all.

You'll most likely need to take a hit anyway if you're looking to bring in Haaland soon, so may as well take the hit now and ensure you have enough in the bank to be able to move to Haaland with 1FT when the time comes.

Son but ideally you want to drop the one that won’t really affect your squad value. Rumor circling around about Trent not being out long term(2-3 weeks).

You should still have enough cash itb for Haaland whether you drop A or B. Don’t think it matters much.

    Which one sounds best?

    1) Playing: Taylor (if fit), Selling: Salah and Son, Benching: Bailey and TAA

    I really need help deciding.

Should I do Salah to Jota? Or Salah to Gross?

With Salah out, I do not have a Liverpool asset. Jota has a higher ceiling than Gross (and I am taking a - 4 hit), but I am not sure about his minutes.

      Exactly my conundrum.

Gross or Jota. I had planned Jota (and think he’s the best Liv attacker to own), but now more worried about his mins than I was!

I guess we can expect 60-70 or 30 every game until Salah back. Just trying to work out whether that’s enough vs 90 consistently for Gross

Don't like this reason, take more hits as you are assuming "a lot of other people" are doing it. Folks that don't take hits around your OR are gaining 4 points on you.

Take hits because your team needs it, not on the assumption everyone else is doing it.

With Bowen likely to miss West Ham's nice fixtures games should I replace him now for a -4 or play Konsa and hope everyone else starts? Kinda feels like I'll need to replace him either this week or next.

    A - Bowen > Saka
    B - Bowen > GroB
    C - Bowen > Jota

If you're not keeping longer-term I'd just take a hit now. Unlikely to have an FT to spare next week if Haaland is back & I don't really like the idea of carrying 3 injured players (esp 2 mids) on the bench at the same time

Yeah I think a hit makes sense. There was also another poster suggesting Gusto might be injured and so my starting 11 is uncertain. Who would you pick from these?

        A - Jota (high ceiling)
B - Saka (steady choice but expensive for his recent returns)
        C - GroB (nice fixtures)
D - Neto (in great form pre injury but tricky upcoming fixtures)

C I think, especially if you're looking mainly at the next 5 fixtures, with D a close-ish second. Looks like Elliott will be preferred at RW so I'm not convinced you'll get regular starts from Jota. Arsenal are an avoid for me at the moment

Why not, good fixtures, nailed 90 minutes, West-ham in great form with 4 clean sheets in the last 4 & only £4.5m.

You have Areola to cover those CS. Expect their xGC to get worse imo. Surely more thought into picking someone with a potential double for that spot to take advantages of the WC

Who would you pick for that spot then?

Do any Villa fans have any inside information on the injury status of Pau?

I've got a defence of Porro, Saliba, Burn, Pau and Taylor. Thinking of a hit for Estu but feels risky moving Burn on as he's not flagged, but prefer to keep the Villa defence if possible!

What's the deal with Bowen, anyone knows how long he's out for (if he's out anyway)? Should I sell?

Wanted to save the FT but I'm keeping Salah (with spare Haaland cash itb) and I've also got Trent and Bowen, both brought in early (at 8.1 & 7.5) so I'm left with no bench and a very weak midfield this round

    Areola
    Porro Gabriel Estupinan Gusto
    Gross Palmer Garnacho
    Watkins Alvarez Solanke

Is Garnacho a lid option to replace Son? Need some money to afford Haaland.

I'm debating one of Garnacho/Neto for my final mid spot on WC.

Not bad if you can overlook the s-show of a club around him
