In the weeks when I’ve backed the fixture (Watkins home v Sheff Utd or Solanke this week) over the quality of the player (say Haaland most games) I’ve not had much luck this season.

The fixture says Toney and I may well still go there given his importance to Brentford. Son is a good option for obvious reasons but I wonder if Fulham are that good a fixture for him?

Fixtures over form has been an unmitatged disaster this year. Just glad I dodged Bowen today. As you say, Watkins is top scorer this year and cost 8mil, let them all sell and reap the rewards.

You have experienced the high of being at 30k and still have a chance to finish with a simillar rank. Some of us have had nothing but 170k-250k mediocrity for weeks. Not so bad you can write off the season but also not in a place to achieve anything memorable. Just boring.
