    here are also changes being made to the Bonus Points System (BPS).

    Firstly, saving a penalty will be reduced from 15 to 9BPS.

    There are also new additions to the BPS, so players will be rewarded or penalised for more different actions.

    Goalkeepers and defenders conceding a goal will be worth -4BPS.
    A goalline clearance will be worth 3BPS.
    A foul won will be worth 1BPS.
    A shot on target will be worth 2BPS.

    FIVE free transfers
    Up until now, you've only been able to bank two free transfers. Well, if you want to be patient and plan ahead, you can now accumulate up to FIVE free transfers.

    On top of that, when you play the Wildcard and Free Hit chips, your saved transfers will no longer reset to zero.

    So you can now save five free transfers, then play any of your chips and immediately have five free transfers to use in the following Gameweek.

    You've always been able to keep two free transfers when playing the Bench Boost and Triple Captain chips, so there's no real change there - except that you can now bank the extra three free transfers as well!

    Changes to Blank and Double Gameweeks
    The schedule for FA Cup ties will be different this season, resulting in fewer clashes with Premier League fixtures.

    July 16th: Being able to save up 5 free transfers will be so handy, it’s like having a mini wildcard.

    Building a good initial sqaud will be key. last season we had a good start and didnt even need to make transfers iirc.

      Why on earth would they not target casuals? Also for keen players it just changes strategy which is fun because it makes you think in a different way.

      Of course they do, they want more people to play and to not alienate them when life gets in the way. Not everyone can commit to turning up weekly or twice-weekly for 3 quarters of the year to play a game. It's a better business strategy overall then trying to just appeal to a small handful of fantasy managers who think they're better than everything else because they spend way too much time thinking about fantasy football. Get over it.

    Instead of adding the save point or CS point, they reduce BPS for penalty save. Didn't they see The CS is drying last season? Wtf
