So there’s hope that Jao Pedro will get minutes on Saturday, then?

Big call on whether or not to put Pedro in the starting 11 in predicated line ups this week. After the Nkunku gameweek 2 howler, hopefully they will get this one right.

Doesn't matter if "they" get it right, it's up to owners to decide for themselves if they start him or not.

As good as Neale is, does he really have an expert insight into whether JPedro starts or doesn't this weekend?

Literally millions of FPL managers had Nkunku going into gameweek 2. It was a big one to get wrong especially after the exertions on the Thursday night.

Personally I got Nkunku because of their fixtures, and he had done pretty well in pre-season. I knew it was a risk, but I took it along with many others.

Nkunku probably will emerge as a good option at some point this season. But for now, just Palmer and maybe Jackson interest me.

How his flight was. Did he pick up any niggles. Did he get enough sleep. Is he jet lagged. Lots of stuff that no one outside knows. So its a guess.

    19. Sir Michael Taker

Feels like everything hinges on GW5 for Salah going forwards. Haaland's the more obvious captain pick for this week and the foreseeable after 5. Plenty going Saka to Salah this week but likely to want Saka back in 6. Is it actually worth it for the sake of one GW? I suppose a lot have 6 in mind for a WC but then they've sort of put themselves there by removing Arsenal assets this week. All feels very short sighted.

      1. Heskey Time
        • 11 Years
        1 year, 8 months ago

I honestly think Salah is a better captain than Saka in 6. Better fixture for Arsenal but Salah has shown he is explosive whereas Saka is not. Saka likely to get 10-14 at best whereas Salah can get 20. I think people going Salah to Saka in 6 could be burned that week

Debating Saka -> Salah this week for a -4 but still on the fence

Gvardiol is the third most expensive defender in FPL. If you're going to bench him for a home game you might as well sell him.

Pep roulette may well mean the bench player gets subbed in anyway.

or come off at 65 minutes, and bank the CS. I never mind that with defenders, even Trent. Both are explosive enough if they start and don't concede.

I have him and struggling as to give him a few more weeks or cut bait now and move him to Robertson or even TAA. 3 matches is a tiny sample size but seeing the returns from Liverpool defenders is making me antsy

Gvardiol owners could do with Walker getting a run of games ahead of Lewis. Less licence to get forward with Lewis tucking into midfield.

Nothing to do with fpl but why do some people spell it Harland? Translation issue? Symptom of the english accent?

Maybe because he looks a bit like Colonel Sanders 🙂

Knowing the Colonel’s first name, now that’s a deep cut. Bravo

Thoughts on what to do here with 2FT’s?

      Henderson
      TAA Robinson Mykolenko
      Saka ESR Rogers Eze Jota
      Isak Haaland

      4.0 Faes Hall Solanke

      A) Hall > Lewis (start him for Myko) and roll a transfer
      B) Saka, ESR & Solanke > Salah, Minteh & Pedro (-4) this however creates a benching headache
      C) Something else

Jota vs Díaz is an interesting one.

Díaz is looking like the preferred pick based on points tally & stats but I don’t think it’s that easy to pick between them. It feels as if Jota would be the one to bang this time out.

On the long run, it’s still pretty close between them.

If going with any, who do you have your money on?

Reckon Diaz is marginally more likely to keep his spot long term.

Fair enough. Díaz looking rejuvenated this season but might be too early to call, Jota is pretty explosive too based on history.

We’ll get more info on rotation this weekend & midweek imo. Think it generally comes down to form & fitness.

Tough choice for me since I like both players & already have King Mo

Diaz probably; when CL starts both are likely to get rotated ; question is whether Slot feels Gakpo is bettee on the left than through the middle as Klopp preferred him.

Gakpo would likely play most games on the left imo like he does with the Dutch team. He looks more effective there. Chiesa is also an option so rotation is inevitable. If Chiesa is preferred on the left then I don’t know where that leaves Nuñez as a Pool player.

I had Jota but made the change to Diaz on WC but I think Jota will out perform Diaz this gw however I think if your WC if you managed get him for 7.5 which I did then it's a no brainer. Obvs both are rotation risk but I think Darwin has to come in at some point also with chiesa and gakpo. Money is on Diaz he's inform atm but knowing my luck I could be wrong haha

          😆

I had Jota too in gw 1 & 2, he did pretty well, obviously not explosive as Díaz thus far. Considering Díaz but asking myself why Jota wouldn’t perform well especially since we are only 3 gws in so things could still change.

          Tough choice! Good luck!

This question will soon become Jota vs Diaz vs Gakpo vs Nunez vs Chiesa so would just wait and see for more info after IB

Really 50/50 this GW with Diaz playing 180min and coming back later but Nunez not playing in IB prob has a better chance to start over Jota. Think I actually prefer Szobo now with Harvey injured if you are not going for TAA/Robbo

I think Jota more likely to start than Diaz, but that is just a hunch.

If I was WC I would go double Liverpool defence right now

I made one free transfer in tbe last gameweek but then activated my wildcard. I now have 1 free transfer still. Was I wrong to think that you got your transfer back if you then used your wildcard? I was expecting 2 this gameweek!

      Thanks in advance!

You don't gain a transfer when using your WC. So if you have one transfer and use WC you will have one transfer next week.

You get your saved transfers back after WC but the WC still counts as one FT that GW so you don't get an extra saved FT

Team GTG? I Know defense is a bit weak atm...

      Hendo
      Myko Konate Robinson
      Salah Jota Gordon Madueke
      Haaland Isak Muniz

      Matthews Hall Sangare Johnson

      0.9m itb, 0 FT

Yeah, i think so, no point WC if you think Newcastle will smash Wolves. Got to hope Konate starts. All the other will

      Afternoon all,
Recommended transfers this week, or roll with 1FT? Bit of a benching dilemma as well.

      Henderson
      Gvardiol Saliba Robinson
      Saka Gordon Jota Rogers
      Isak Haaland Pedro
(Fab ESR Barco Hall) £2.0 ITB
