With the FPL Gameweek 10 deadline closing in, it’s time to see how one of our top managers is approaching the next round.

This time, we hear from Hall of Famer Dan Wright, who talks us through his squad, planned transfers and the key decisions.

Despite only starting playing FPL in 2012/13, Dan has 10 finishes inside the top 50k, of which five were inside the top 10k.

        Manzambi will have less minutes, but his returns are much better. Last week i played Ode over Konsa. That was a fault. But yeah, probably this week, he's going to hurt me.

          Forest have not been scoring loads so there's a chance of a CS plus he's always in with a chance of an attacking return. For me, the only concern with Gvardiol is rotation but I thought he was rested mid week so likely he starts tomorrow?

    Is it worth using my 2ft to upgrade DCL to Isak? DCL has some great home fixtures coming up but he is a bit of an injury doubt and isak seems to be showing consistency now.

      Depends who's on your bench to cover DCL this GW if he misses. As you said he has great upcoming fixtures. Isak also injury prone. On paper it looks a great move though

        Lewis Hall will be my first sub if I don't make any transfers.
        DCL has great home fixtures, his away fixtures are about as bad as it gets!

        Unfortunately I'm 0.1 short of doing it with 1 transfer. If i do get isak what move would you make to get 0.1 bearing in mind I still have BB to play
        1) Hall to Silva or Van Hecke
        2) Tzolakis to Kinsky (Trafford is my main keeper)

          easy 1. otherwise is Tzolakis to expensive for a Keeper you normally dont use.

            Thanks for the response. Tzolakis was only 4.5 and there are no playing 4.0 keepers but yes his price has gone up whilst kinsky has gone down.
            Only problem with 1 is that it gives me more of a benching headache this week. Most likely I'd bench silva or van hecke since I want to start King. You are right though, I think 1 is the best option.

          No DCL is not definitely out. Farke is 'cautiously optimistic'. Hopefully we'll get confirmation before the deadline as to whether he trained today. If he is out I'll probably sell for isak.
