      Thanks all. I agree he could be too deep, but he collected some tidy points at that price for the team he was in last season. And with more attacking mentality and a decent set piece taker (Payet) he could well get some chances again.

      Pro, you no longer can/have to hold it for DGWs this season, you get on price changes and bandwagons early, you catch some early leaders, you get in on differentials for the next few weeks

      Con, you make decisions based on 1 week's worth of data (could end up with this season's Dier), you miss out on making big changes in reaction to the end of the transfer window (Ozil, Di Maria in etc. seasons past), you get more data to play with, you could hold til closer to Christmas when you know you'll wish you had another!

      Why early WC ???
      - Gain TV
      - Get an early top rank
      - Plan transfers and fundings for the next GW’s
      - Jump on a couple of bandwagons
      - Strategy! WC when you’re up to increase the gap

      The game checks once a day whether any players are over their price change threshold. Those that have reached it change in price. You can read more about the transfer market here: http://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2015/08/12/fantasy-premier-league-transfer-market-guide/

              Nice. I had planned a GW4 WC, but am now on the fence. The idea of loading up on 3 MCY, Sanchez and the bargains in GW4 is tempting.

                I think your team is very good and doesn't need a wildcard. City from gw4 looks a bag of goals so one or two hits would be repaid and bettered IMO.

      Sweet.. See how tekkers go.. If he still looks like he cant fit into that team then a great way to use those 2 transfers could be tekkers to gomis and cazorla to silva

    Best route here chaps?

    (A) GW3: Wally/Ozil & Benteke -> Albrighton & Kane
    GW4: Benteke -> Aguero

    (B) GW3: Wally/Ozil, Benteke & Rooney -> Albrighton, Kane & Aguero (4 points)
    GW4: tbc (probably another MCY player in)

    (C) GW3: Wally/Ozil & Benteke -> Payet & Kane
    GW4: Wildcard

    Bank 0.0m, 2FT

    Ruddy
    Shaw, Bellerin, Targett
    Hazard, Walcott, Mane, Ozil
    Rooney, Sakho, Benteke

    Rudd, Huth, Coates, Sinclair

          I guess what's the problem with owning Rooney. I'd rule out C) because your team doesn't need a wildcard.

            Probably right, although it is tempting to be able to max on MCY, Sanchez etc for GW4 and also clear out the dead wood/pick up the bargains.

            I could easily see that happening. Even then, what Van Gaal is doing right now is ludicrous. There are supposed lies, misquotes, misunderstandings, grudges and more, which cannot be healthy for the whole club.

              I agree with you, it is no good. All I've heard recently is De Gea ruled himself out citing stress as the main reason, so I hate to see the guy in that sort of mindset. Above all else he should be enjoying his football.
