Last chance to get FFScout Premium Membership for pre-season price

Fantasy Football Scout Premium Memberships for the 2020/21 season are still available at the pre-season cost of £17.50 – but time is running out on this offer.

Subscriptions will rise to the regular season price of £19.99 after August 31 so, if you haven’t already, make sure to sign up before that point in order to secure the best-value rate.

The yearly fee of £17.50 works out at an equivalent of less than £1.50 a month as, instead of expiring on June 1 as was previously the case, these rolling annual subscriptions now cover a full 12-month period.

That’s better value than our rivals are offering for the equivalent all-access Premium Membership package.

If you prefer to dip your toe into the water rather than plunge right in, however, we are offering rolling monthly subscriptions for just £2.99 per month.

We’re continuing to reinvest resources into the site, building a team of talented contributors for the new season (from all of our Career Hall of Fame top three to the returning Mark Sutherns) and working on an exciting new design for the Premium Members Area, complete with new tools and features.

We’re also dishing out £2,500-worth of prizes in the 2020/21 campaign – more details of that available here.

Our video below runs down just some of the benefits that subscribers will enjoy in 2020/21 and previews what you can expect the Premium Members Area to look like after its makeover:

WHAT DO I GET FOR MY MONEY?

Well, you’ll be joining legions of other Fantasy managers by signing up, including former Fantasy Premier League winners Adam Levy, Simon March and Tom Fenley.

Thousands upon thousands of FPL bosses take advantage of our subscriptions and sign up every year, using the stats and tools to aid their Gameweek planning.

PRO PUNDIT ARTICLES

You’ll get exclusive content from some of the best Fantasy managers in the business, including Hall of Fame top three Fábio Borges, Stephen Harrap and Darren Wiles, ex-champion Simon March, five-time top 1k finisher Tom Freeman, three-time top 200 finisher Lateriser and six-time top 5k finisher Zophar.

If that wasn’t enough, Fantasy Football Scout’s founding father, Mark Sutherns, is returning to the site to supply articles and video appearances throughout the season. Again, only Premium Members will get unrestricted access to Mark’s content.

RATE MY TEAM AND PROJECTIONS

Our Projections and Rate My Team tools are both live for the new season, so you can head over there now to start building your teams ahead of 2020/21 and see how many points our algorithm thinks you’ll score.

These features were both refined last year, with RMT’s Professor – aka Chris Atkinson – elaborating on the changes in a Hot Topic.

SEASON TICKER

Also live for the new season is our Season Ticker.

Premium Members can sort by fixture difficulty and find out which teams’ matches rotate well.

Disagree with the Fantasy Football Scout difficulty ratings? Add you own to customise your experience.

FLAT-TRACK BULLY TOOL

Our Flat-Track Bully tool was a new addition last season, with subscribers now able to identify Fantasy assets with good records against specific clubs.

This will help you pinpoint players who perhaps perform better against weaker opposition and even those who thrive against the top teams, like Raúl Jiménez famously did in 2018/19.

HEAD-TO-HEAD COMPARISONS

Compare both teams and players head to head, with over 100 key statistics to study side by side.

PLAYER AND TEAM STATS

There are hundreds upon hundreds of player and team statistics available, which can help guide your Fantasy transfer decisions.

MATCH ANALYSIS

Analysis of every Premier League match (going back to 2011/12!), together with charts which plot average positions and our collection of heatmaps for touches, shots and chances created, among other statistics.

CUSTOM STATS TABLES

Premium Members can also create custom tables based on the data available and share them with other subscribers.

Perhaps the most famous of these is Joe’s Goals Imminent table, which looks to predict which underperforming assets will find the net next.

TESTIMONIES

2018/19 Fantasy Premier League champion Adam Levy was a paid-up Premium Member of our site and he discussed what tools of ours he finds most useful in an interview after his triumph.

In previous seasons we’ve helped FPL winners Tom Fenley and Simon March, while in 2015/16 we were thrilled to see Ed Masters – the winner of that year’s Members’ League – finish third in the overall rankings.

In 2017/18, Paul Gee went one better. He won our Members’ League and finished second, losing out to champion Yusuf Sheikh by just eight points.

Be sure to check out all the other benefits of signing up as a Premium Member here. A full FAQ on our Premium Members’ Area is also available here.

Call me crazy but hear me out.

Are any Antonio owners considering leaving 0.5 in the bank and swapping him to DCL in GW2? I think he's worth a chance with fixtures, but it also depends if Everton land their midfield targets.

DCL: I'm still too traumatised to even think about the remote possibility that he might ever have to play in my team again.

Would pay 1.5 extra for Richarlison if going that route

You'd hop from Antonio to DCL when everyone else is getting KDB, Bruno, Martial etc? Nah.

      Go with your gut.
      People hate DCL !
Will never say get him. If you think he's a good option. Get him

I think Everton are an overlooked prospect in FF this year. Richi definitely carries the greater goal threat with the way Everton play as opposed to DCL being more of a target man but ordinarily I would also take the punt. The only thing giving me pause is possible rotation with Kean though.

Everton with a midfield and DCL will become gold. He had absolutely no service for the last 15 games.

Is Harrison Reed now the best 4.5 midfielder after signing for Fulham?

GW10 really feels the best week to WC if you're a fixture-focused player. The two best teams - Liverpool, City - both have massive fixture swings, so you can triple up on defense and attack - as an example - for both teams respectively. Spurs, Wolves fixtures turn for the worse so you can get those players out and West Ham's fixtures also take a large turn so you can focus on the likes of Bowen and Antonio.

Too early to think about WC. I will be saving mine for as long as possible this time round.

Agreed. I'm steeling myself to have the discipline to hold on for that long - it's always harder at the time then you can imagine now. The additional factors of a later transfer window closure and coronavirus outbreaks make a late WC much more attractive.

This is the only reason I'm not playing WC early.

Agree. Every year I intend to hang to my WC as long as possible and end up blowing it by GW5. This time I'm determined to hang onto GW10 or even beyond, if I can.

People starting the season with 4 at the back: why are you picking a 4.0 defender? There aren't any Lundstrams or AWBs around this time by the look of things. IMO it's worth it to find that extra 0.5

    1. Andy_Social

Why? Cos he's 4m and looks lovely on my bench. And neither you nor I know if he'll end up nailed.

      1. Jullepuu

Yeah but a 4.5 will be nailed and makes it easier to rotate defenders

I'll have 3 nailed defenders. The 4.5 and 4m defender are for the bench and are insurance policies.

But you are still playing 4 at the back so the 4.5 isn't really an insurance policy?

Yeah, what I mean is I have TAA and VVD 100% nailed. I have 2xnailed 4.5s (currently Taylor and Lascelles) who rotate superbly, but most weeks I'll play both. When one of them has a nasty fixture, he drops to the bench. Even in GW1 with Taylor sitting out, my 4m defender is not in my starting XI. In my current plans I don't ever intend him to start, but he's there if I'm caught out by injury or rotation, and if he turns out to be nailed by his club and decent, I have a bonus.
Coincidentally he (Mitchell) is great in a 3-way rotation with NEW and BURN should it come to that.

For me it’s either a 4.5 defender or Soucek.

      I’ve gone for the latter...

I’ve got Bruno on the bench so my funds are a bit tied up.

They probably have a nailed 5th mid or 3rd forward.

Yeah someone like Soucek or Ritchie

  5. Pacer.

It's easier to just start with mid price strikers and have the option of sideways or dropping down than to start with budget and be forced into sideways, taking hits or waiting for transfers to accrue so you can then release value from another player (another headache) to step up

A couple of people have mentioned it's about efficiency. It doesn't seem like an efficient starting strategy

I'm starting with a pair of premium strikerss, with the open plan of doing 2FTs with a mid-priced midfielder to get a premium midfielder and mid-priced striker.

I think that's more sensible than having to upgrade a mid- to premium striker by sacrificing a premium midfielder.

Anyone thinking about Richi this year? Everton look rejuvenated under Ancelotti and their new signings look like they will give them another gear in attack.

I looked at defender rotation. But I am struggle for a decent cheap defence with a nice gw3 fixture. Already have vinagre, justin, doherty and McCarthy in goal. Can't see a nice cheap gw3 likely clean sheet - everton - sheff utd worth extra .5? Not sure
