Yes. Planning to do Watkins & Pedro to Wissa & Alvarez.

Wissa in form, good fixtures and nailed.

        wissa is just max 70mins.

i went for two city def instead of Alvarez. too many midfielders firing. not sure want risk Alvarez whose minutes is uncertain

You didn’t want to risk Alvarez due to uncertain minutes but then decided the remedy was two Man City defenders?

I have 2 FT's, not sure on Stones injury update. Would you keep and make a more aggressive transfer like below:

    Pedro > Jackson

    Current team is

    Johnstone

    Saliba / Chilwell / Estu

    Saka / Rashford / Foden / Martinelli / Mitoma

    Pedro / Haaland

    Turner | Stones | Kabore | Mubama

    Thanks

    Turner
    Gabriel Estu Chilwell
    Martinelli Saka Mbeumo Rashford Foden
    Haaland Watkins

    Onana, Beyer, Baldock, Mubama

    1.5ITB, 2FT

    a) Rashford > Mitoma
    b) Mubama > Isak
    c) Baldock > Walker
    d) Mubama > Alvarez
    e) Two of the above?
    f) Something else

As a non Estupiñan owner I think benching him is madness. Brighton have conceded in both games yet he's still running away with pts. West Ham also have an awful record against Brighton since Brighton, haven't beaten then since Brighton got promoted in 2017 with 6W 6D, including winning their last 3 games on aggregate 9-1

I need to realistically but I have no idea what I'm doing this week. Contemplating any of WC, or a hit, or just FT, or even rolling. I have a few issues and am missing so many well-scoring players so I just don't know what the best action is

Morning all! What would you do here with 2ft and 0.5itb? Thinking about selling Rashford + JP for someone like Foden/Maddison + Alvarez/Jackson

    Johnstone
    Chilwell Saliba Estupinan

    Haaland JP

    Turner; Udogie, Kabore, Mubama

    1. Boberella

I like the first option. Maddy (if fit) and Alvarez. Or I’d go Foden and Wissa, but for Mubama and keep Pedro
Not a fan of Jackson from what I’ve seen so far.

Need to monitor Maddison. He would definitely come in if fit since I really rate him and like to watch him play. Jackson was on my radar before the West Ham game but he didn't really look too good... Might just skip him

    2 questions:

    A) What’s the thoughts on having the 2 x 4m playing GKs Areola and Turner? Fixtures suit rotation if they both continue to start.

    B) Is Semenyo the best 4.5m fwd?

Planning to do Archer to Semenyo this week if no burning issues after the Arsenal game.

    2. Nate(U)dog(ie)

Rotation is OK but I think it's too easy to miss the hauls, 95% of people would have benched Areola this week

      1. Boberella
        • 9 Years
        2 years, 5 months ago

Yeah, I’m not sure. I’ve never been a fan of rotating keepers, but for 8m total, seems ok. Saying that, if we don’t have Salah, gonna have 8m in the bank, so saving the money not really that important.

Mbuemo & keep some money in the bank for a Liverpool mid if his points slow down.

In 2/3 weeks you’ll have Jota or Diaz as get outs if he slows down for when their fixs turn.

It will always be a 50/50 punt. The danger is whenever you start him, he blanks and when you bench him he hauls.

I think he may start and if he does, I'll probably sell after that as he will probably end up benched in the next game. Selling a player you think is going to be in and out of a side after he's had a game out feels a bit short-sighted to me. But RDZ' comments about him needing to improve his defensive work like Ferguson is a big red flag long term

    4. _Freddo
      • Fantasy Football Scout Member
      • 16 Years

I think he’ll start but the fact that he’s been benched already is not a good sign.

He was the record signing, he is versatile, none of that mattered, he can be rotated like anyone else.

    5. ritzyd
      • 8 Years

Difficult one, especially given he seems to be on pens when on the oitch too, yet for me, I have £1m in the bank so a switch to Alvarez seems a no brainer, if I have a rotation risk in my team i'd rather the guy who plays for City. If i didn't have the mil i'd orobaboy be fairly comfortable sticking with Pedro for GW3 at least

As far as single weeks for it go, that’s a strong one.

If benches are going to be stronger this year due to only one real premium to own, it may be better held back for the double this year.

It looks like a strong shout on paper, but I'm still not sure. Clean sheets aren't a guarantee for anyone, but they could make up for it with assists or goals. I'm just so used to activating BB in one of the doubles that I usually don't seriously consider it before.

2FT and £0.5m ITB but don’t really know what to do with it so might just burn a transfer. Don’t want to shift Rash, Ode yet given fixtures but might move one to Mbuemo next week if they don’t fire (would have considered Pedro to Wissa but now priced out, don’t want to lose Watkins yet). Will move on Gabriel if he doesn’t start today and otherwise might consider upgrading Baldock and bench boosting. Any alternative thoughts??

I know that he isn't back to his best yet, and he wasn't on fire during the pre-season, but with Bournemouth, Burnley, and Sheffield United in the next 3 weeks, I really want to take a punt on Son. Fixtures like this are perfect for creating confidence and form.

Maddison is a great option as well, but we have to wait for the injury update.

Don’t think the formation suits him as an FPL pick. Prefer Maddison and Richarlison.

I just can't bring myself to own Richarlison at the moment. Maybe it's about the memories, and maybe I'm being a little bit nostalgic, but I still see Son as the most explosive player on their team.

He just looks far too wide and away from the action for me. From what I've seen (as well as analysis), it looks like Postecoglu creates the space in the middle for the likes of Maddison, Richarlison and the attacking WBs by stretching the pitch as wide as possible through Son and Kulu. They pull in the WBs leaving Udogie and Porro/Royal to move into the half-spaces, Richarlison stays CF and around the box and Maddison floats wherever he needs to, be it towards the box or deeper to create from there

I haven't seen enough of Udogie to fairly judge him. But from what I've read, he's ideal for Ange's system, exciting to watch, and could get plenty of attacking returns this season.

saved a free transfer from GW2, considering these three options
    Pickford/Stones to:

    A) Sanchez/MCI def 5.0 or 5,5
    B) Sanchez/Chillwell
    C) Ederson/Colwill

    please advise

thought it's an assessed risk due to some advance statistics with only sá and flekken made it worse than pickford, but you're probably right considering how ridiculously small the sample size is after just two GWs // but everton's defence is also super leaky...

So choose a different 4.5 GK (I did Pickford to Flekken yesterday). Chilwell is the Chelsea pick you really want and don't hate the defensive double up either

Pickford (WOL) looks better on paper but can't seem to think Johnstone (bre) has a better chance to keep a CS.

Don’t see Palace keeping a clean sheet away at Brentford at all. I’d play Pickford despite yesterdays result.

Feel like this is a bit similar to Turner v Onana/Pickford last week. But for me I think Everton are still conceding far too many chances and much too high xGC like last season. Johnstone will concede I'd definitely say but should be good for a save pt or two

I'd ditch Pickford asap, Everton look terrible, just basic defencice shapes are all over the place, mistakes, really thought Dyche woukd have had them drilled much, much better over summer. Personally looking to move him to Flekken this week.

Pickford's personal advanced stats is the third worst in the league, and it doesn't look like it's going to change soon, but again the sample size is still too small

          E. It’d be Sod’s Law you get rid of Rashford and then he bangs 2 Vs forest. I can see martial playing 9 so rash will be back where he belongs on the left. Sounds crazy but I’m bringing IN Bruno for salah. Hoping everyone jumps off Utd and I cash in. I wanted salah to maddy but the injury puts me off

I have Colwill and think I'll just be sticking with him for now. Had a lot of the ball yesterday but created next to nothing in the second half (pretty much after Chukwuemeka went off in the first half), just one shot on target in that 2nd half and it was very late on. Lots of potential with the likes of Sterling and Jackson but very little end product at all. Feel like Jackson may take some time to find his shooting boots

I mean, what's to say? A bad start so don't buy? Could as well say that Brighton are over performing so sell... Two games is a poor sample size, but it's not like there's additional data out there that could be used.
I'm considering a WC to accommodate Chelsea and some Newkie assets, but happy to play it cool until later this week. No reason to rush anything. A lot of injuries as a result of training practices I'm sure, managers not willing to be upfront about anything, just gonna wait.
