    Need a replacement for stones.

At the moment I'm thinking Walker or Akanji, who would you choose? Or would you go for a whole different?

I already got Saliba and Estu. My budget is 5.1 max.

    Cheers!

I chose Akanji. But whoever you choose, it is similar. Only that Walker might have an assist

could also go for a little cheeky replace stones with chilwell and then replace salah with either Mbuemo, Diaz or Foden (got 2 free subs)

Funny it feels like I'm short on FT's but I'm considering rolling the one I have. What do you reckon? 0.9 itb

    Pickford
    Gabriel Estu Henry
    Salah Bruno Saka Mbeumo
    Haaland Watkins Pedro

    Turner Kabore Baldock Chukwu

    A) Roll FT
    B) Gabriel -> Chilwell

get Chillwell, very likely cs against Luton and for me he plays like a winger/forward
Unfortunatelly I cannot afford to do this without a hit

Do the Gabriel > Chilwell one.

Your team has a lot of work to do on it imo.

Honest opinions please folks as I’m struggling on this last decision.

Is there any point in going Onana over Sanchez? I do think Onana will make a lot of saves due to their defence in tougher games but they are strong at home so will get CS like they did last year but is that enough to spend the extra .5 on?

Also, would owning Chilwell impact your decision? It’s pretty much playing double Chelsea defenders every week for the next 6/7.

      Will Sanchez keep his spot?

Obviously as there isn't any real competition yet.

Think that would be harsh if he didn’t considering they just brought him in and gave him the number 1 shirt. I think he’ll get a fair chance to earn the spot

The player they are linked to buy is not going to be their no 1

I guess really it's down to your own viewpoint of both teams. I have Onana and given the chance to swap to Sanchez for free I wouldn't take it personally. I think Onana is a far better shot stopper and with the ball at his feet, both can contribute to extra points (cs obviously, but save pts as well as bonus pts). I think ManUtd will get their act together sooner rather than later and are a better side defensively than Chelsea. Chelsea were pretty poor defensively v West Ham even with them sitting back with 10 men for a long period and I don't really trust them. Sanchez is a bit flappy and can be prone to mistakes, and when I look at Onana I see a keeper like Alisson or Sa, one that is very capable of keeping a clean sheet almost by themselves at times by bailing their team out, I don't feel that at all from Sanchez

I do agree with this, part of the appeal of Onana is you put him in and he’s there for 38 weeks, United will still keep a lot of CS & he’s already made something like 11 saves.

I’m looking hard but not sure I can see a swap that’s worth doing.

It's your call, Sanchez could well be a great pick particularly in the short-term, you could target that even and simply reassess afterwards given the fixtures. ManUtd may still take more time to get things right so there could be a pts swing there for all I know. I just don't feel too confident on it myself

Its quite difficult to assess the GK pool after just 2 games given that there's so many changes in general. But my first impressions are that Onana should pick up a reasonable number of save points for a GK from one the 'top' clubs given that Man Utd just don't have the same kind of control of games that City/Arsenal do. Also looks like he could pick up a decent amount of BAPS for pass completion & maybe a couple of assists.

Sanchez doesn't offer much of anything to my eyes, just looks like he'll end up in the middle of the pack somewhere. I would prefer Flekken or Johnstone from the 4.5s at this stage - both seem suited to what I usually look for stats-wise, which is pretty solid defence that can keep somewhere in the region of 12 CS while still conceding plenty of low xG shots to pad their save points

    1FT, 0,9itb
    Pickford (Turner)
    Estupinan, Akanji, Gabriel, Botman, Kabore
    Salah, Saka, Mbuemo, Rasford, Mitoma
    Haaland, Pedro, Mubama

    a) Salah -->Foden/Sterling (worried that Liv fix are nice after new)
    b) Pedro --> Wissa (but Pedro may start as Enciso a major doub)
    c) Salah --?Foden + Pedro -->Jackson (-4)
    d) Pickford -->Sanchez (as other areas are ok)
    e) roll FT

Should I lose Mitoma a week early and bring in Foden for free or roll a transfer for 2FT next week?

    Front 8:
    Rashford Bruno Saka Martinelli Mitoma
    Haaland Watkins (4.5)

Assuming you're not burning a transfer I'd be happy to roll. 2FT is always useful.

in last man standing this week. not sure whether to go with chelsea or united- anyone think one is a more nailed win than the other?

I would say MUN, more pressure on them to win and with Mount out, possibly more freedom to roam for Rashford and Bruno

I want Foden badly this week and have a free transfer. Midfield is Saka, Mitoma, Bruno, Mbeumo and Martinelli.
Should I stand pat. I’m thinking Martinelli but not sure why.

Am tempted by a Man City defender but just can't trust the rotation.

Don't like new names because they might be dropped after a couple of weeks.

Shaw could be good but I think the safest bet in terms of starts and fixtures is Rico Henry.
