I'm curious why folks use PPM as a metric in FPL. What do folks gain with this info and how does it help with decision making?

      Points per million*

As a consumer we are enthralled with the concept of value..and we try to do the same with our fpl teams.

This is a value maximization game. Getting an underpriced player allows you to spend more money elsewhere. Simples.

        Case in point: Douglas Luiz.

Don't often look it up but one example where it seems useful in informing selection/benching decisions is comparing home/away form - e.g. look at the difference between Gordon's home/away record (7.4 / 3.4)

Ah I always get confused if that means match / million....

I think one time I used it to compare 2 potential moves in terms of value - guess it was last season trying to figure out whether a threemium with Kane was worth it compared to 2 mid-pricers. But I'm not sure I really got much out of it & haven't used it since

Re Botman - "Reacting really well to individual program" how does this translate into a rough timeline of when he is expexted to be back?

    1. Aster

I did A. Better from an open play and it is usually him who is fouled for a penalty.

It doesn't help at all. No mention on what the individual program entails such as types of runs and ball work

Still a "don't know", given he's a centre back. Likely he's still some weeks away. I think they genuinely don't know how to handle Botman's condition and are reluctant to push it.

I'm sure there's been at least one occasion in the past that Wilson has been doing "an individual program" and then been in the squad. The difference there is Wilson is more used to injuries/rehab and as a striker doesn't need to work with the rest of the team as much.

A and C, if you think they both start.

Hall might come in for Newcastle, but then Livra might play further forward. So potentially more upside than Lascelles, but Lascelles should more nailed to start.
