Richarlison has the greater goal threat. Maddison has the greater assist threat...

Credit where credit is due. Whether Haaland and KDB would start was one of the biggest predicted line up decisions in scout's history and Neale was spot on.

Shame about TAA though. A substitute appearance was always likely with one brief substitute appearance after injury and with Bradley's red hot form.

Looks like poor Neale has to go into retirement now after that with the eyes of the world watching FFS' predictions

Do Alvarez -> Haaland this week or wait one more week?

    1. Nate(U)dog(ie)

Think it purely depends on what minutes you think Haaland and KDB get. If you think they both start and get 70 mins or so then I'd do it as Alvarez will probably be benched, if you think just one of them starts then I'd probably keep

For my perspective, if Haaland starts regardless, Alvarez appeal goes down. He's either going to be deep or benched

Significantly impacted by KDB missing every game except GW1 until his return though (and Haaland then missing 2 months)

What are people that have other options doing with Estupiñan this week? I've got Moreno (shu), TAA (ars) and Walker (bre) and am unsure if I should play Estu over one of them. Yes they were dreadful defensively and always give chances away, but Palace are woeful defensively too so there's potential there from an attacking point of view.

I'll be playing Olise though who'll be right up against him so there's incentive to leave him benched. It's a derby too so it could go either way with both teams needing a result but I'm wondering if he's worth playing over one of the others (have Toney too who I'll be playing v City)

I might BB. Defence is Trent, Trippier, Porro, Estupiñan, Moreno. Otherwise I guess its Estu & Moreno on the bench

Won't be live anywhere but you'll be able to stream it later on, either through Fulham's website or on YouTube. Sky Sports sometimes cross (almost) live to the pressers but they rarely show them in full and will be preoccupied with deadline day today, no doubt.

I'd probably play Estu over Walker in your case. Not partcularly confident of a CS in any of those games - even SHU have packed a bit of threat about them recently. Might as well opt for the trio with the highest ceiling then.

Plus, losing 0-4 to Luton is the kind of shellacking that usually necessitates a response from good teams. Fancy Brighton and Estu to have a strong game against Palace

TAA replacements if Liverpool doesn't DGW?

Thats the main question of the week for me, what do you do with or without Liverpool assists in GW24 and 25 (as they are still good fixtures?)

      1. Crunchie
        • Fantasy Football Scout Member
        • 5 Years
        3 months, 17 hours ago

If they don't DGW week? How may do you get if they do? 2 or 3 with GW26. My guess is a -4 is ok, as you'd -4 for a DGW if you had a poor fixture afterward for a good team. Will Bradley impact TAA minutes/playing position. Salah fitness. Would you bring in Darwin or Diago instead of Richailson or swerve for a GW26 player if they have a fixture instead like Gordon?

Everton will be just as physical. I think if their assessment is that there's minimal risk of reinjury he could be 60/40 to start. But tbh my hunch game in reading Pep / injuries is not very strong....

I'll probably just get him back now.

Isak is injured. Not a fan of either hit, and 'A' seems a bit meh. I'd be tempted to roll personally.

Why sell J. Pedro? If fit could be my captain (Homegame against CRY)!

Anyone want to predict who is likely Newcastle's pen taker when Isak, Wilson and Joelinton are all out?

No standout pen taker outside those 3. Maybe Schar or Miggy looking at their pen history

        Just 1/1 in his career.

In pen shootouts, 1/2 over the 2 seasons at Newcastle

Yeah I think that would be my pick. 8/10 pens scored in his career.

    Who to drop for Haaland?

    A) Alvarez
    B) Solanke
    C) Watkins
    D) The robot can wait another week

Same situation and currently Alvarez to Haaland in 24

You thinking Haaland start one more game on the bench? Hard to drop Alvarez after that brace

Currently yes. I wouldn't say drop, more rotation between KDB, Haaland and Alvarez in busy February period

Also Solanke and Watkins are captaincy options to consider this GW imo

True. Solanke could do damage to Forest home. Watkins is kind of annoying to own though but selling before Sheff U is risky.

This forum is making me thinking about waiting for another week but dunno.

Anyway only option I see from almost any front three I have seen is to transfer Alvarez out. I just cannot see in the XI with KDB and Haaland and let's remember that has been poor in many recent games and not only FPL wise.

Alvarez is absolutely the right choice. The question is "when" not "if".

Like you, I am slowly coming to the idea of waiting a week

D as it it is a -4. I did a panic and brought in and Captained KDB (which I took of Alvarez lol)

      Alvarez needed those goals.

      Currently have Foden/Alvarez/KDB.

If Liverpool dont DGW i keep Watkins bt swap Watkins for Darwin DGW 24.

Then Alvarez to Haaland (probably) or Foden to Gordon.

If Liverpool dont double it will be Alvarez to KDB (but maybe priced out so TAA will be downgraded GW25), tricky.

What are Gross owners thinking? Been a bad transfer so far but De Zerbi should change something after that 4-0 embarrassment on Tuesday, hopefully a more advanced role for Gross. Plus with Joao Pedro a doubt there's the possibility of Gross being on penalties. Feel like I should give him the Palace game.

I blamed myself immediately after confirming that transfer but this is much worse than expected. Still keeping at least Palace.

Salah already "jogging fast" in IG story. If dgw is announced I think I try to play a little bit more time and keep him one more week.

Don't need that money for Haaland but of course quite big downside is that if I bench injured Salah I need to play Gross who has been awful.

People who watched City last night - how did Foden look compared to KDB. Own Foden, but considering upgrading.

Was wider, but pushing up higher at times

Also Lewis instead of Walker at RB impacted Foden's role. Walker would normally provide the width but with Lewis, he inverted and Foden had to play wide
