Realistically to win my mini leagues I need about 50 points more than Palmer, Porro and Son from Vicario, Cucurella, Madueke, Johnson and Maddison (c) tonight. Not even sure Maddison is gonna start! Hoping he can get back to his stellar away form record.

James Maddison, if you want to go to the world cup mate you need to show the world tonight! Come on lad let's be having you!

Marcus Rashford is not Manchester United standard anymore. He's 26 and he's not consistent. His presence on the pitch is not a help but a hindrance to his teammates if he is not playing well. His neutral game is severely lacking.

He doesn't attempt to fully sprint past his opponents like he used to, his raw pace and power used to be enough to push it past someone and beat them in a foot race.

If he stays, he's risking the development of a potential world class talent in Garnacho, who shouldn't be stifled playing out of position to accommodate Marcus Rashford. Manchester United do not have the luxury to have a player who is great one week and sub-standard the next, their history is littered with consistent players who were absolutely fundamental to their previous success.

In a summer where FFP is still the governing rule set of english football, Marcus must be sold. INEOS knows this based on the information released to journalists this week and I commend their astute custody of the club so far.

You cannot have a 70m rated home-grown forward who may or may not play well who would fetch significant funds to improve the playing squad.

For example, Rashford £70m, Greenwood £40m and Sancho £45m as rough estimations adds £155m on to what will be a net spend of around £100m. I would say £250m is the absolute minimum that needs to be spent on players good enough to challenge for the top honours.

These are the players I would purchase and a realistic market price. Isak £120m, Branthwaite £50m, Todibo £40m, Frimpong £45m, Udogie £60m, Paulinha £40m, Olise £60m and Eze £60m is £475m and what Manchester United should be spending, alongside a few free transfers like Tosin from Fulham as a good third centre back option.

Rashford has to go to facilitate this kind of rebuild. I would bring back David De Gea and sell Onana as well, Onana is not an upgrade and David is still living in Manchester.

My personal list of players who should be sold or let go:

    Onana
    Varane
    Lindelof
    Maguire
    Wan Bissaka
    Shaw
    Malacia
    Williams
    Eriksen
    Casemiro
    McTominay
    Donny Van Der Beek
    Hannibal Mejbri
    Amrabat
    Antony
    Sancho
    Shoretire
    Rashford
    Martial

I'm proposing we sell 19 players. That's Chelsea levels of upheaval! I believe all should leave for a multitude of reasons. I estimate £350-400m in transfer fees received and an excellent opportunity to restructure the wage budget.

Amad and Pellestri I would keep one more season. Mason Mount deserves a chance to prove he's got it.

INEOS please please please, sell Marcus Rashford. It's the best for everyone.

Agreed on most of the list, but just because somebody shouldn’t be first 11, doesn’t mean they should be sold. Onana been pretty damn good actually for most of the season, people only remember those brutal first couple of months. Maguire shouldn’t be first 11 but he is good for the squad and doesn’t cause problems. Shaw is one of the best left backs in the league when fit, you just need to have a good backup. Amad and Pellistri are nowhere near it though, they are worse versions of Antony and Sancho, too slow to beat a man.

Pellestri has the rare ability to cross without needing to beat a man. Amad needs to get in the gym! Both are still potentially very good players.

Onana has let in at least 10 goals that David De Gea would of saved. His shot stopping was greatly undervalued.

Shaw is a wonderful player but he's played less than Martial over his United career, I'm sorry but he has to go too, albeit with more sadness than most.

Harry Maguire has been the best version of himself this year which sadly still isn't Manchester United level. His passing is poor at times, he often plays the ball behind the man and progresses it into strange areas. He doesn't scan his surroundings nearly enough and his lack pace means fundamentally Manchester United can't play higher up the pitch where they need to be to close the ginormous midfield hole that you see almost every week when opponents attack the space and score from cutbacks.

I never would have sold De Gea for Onana, but the deed is done, and there was certainly a time recently where everyone was saying De Gea needs to go. I think Onana has value, at least enough to not fork out another 50 million for a goalkeeper. Shaw is my favorite united player so maybe I am biased, but I would love to keep him and add a quality left back to the fold. Shaw could play center back as well. Harry Maguire is a solid pro with a quicker partner and could serve the team during the busy schedule. Nobody has 4 Van Dijks. You need a couple squad center backs to play, and he has no resell value now.

hilariously rose-tinted view of De Gea. Onana's shot stopping is generally pretty great. He's an upgrade.

Yeah we definitely should be copying Chelsea’s approach to squad rebuilding considering how well it’s gone for them.

Rashford sold for 70m, and Palhinha bought for 40m... honestly. Shaw is a priority sell? Wtf am I reading?

Just the kind of delusional mindset shared by many fans at top clubs, but especially Utd and Chelsea. Antony, Sancho and Onana were bought for big money but just sell them at a massive loss and buy some more... The entire club culture is broken and spending, as Chelsea are finding out, is a problem not a solution.

That list of players with the likes of Martial.. they are all on high wages and nobody wants them, Utd cannot give them away. So talking about commanding fees of 70m etc is just sad. The fifth and final stage of trauma is acceptance, Utd fans are still at stage 1, denial. Their players are garbage, their club culture is garbage, their players are on astronomical wages, and it will take 3 years minimum to turn into a serious club again, but considering the past 11 years, it won't happen.

I agree on selling Shaw. Massive failure in aggregate in his time at the club - only 2-3 seasons he's ever been fit so it doesn't matter how good he is when he plays.

      Rashy - £80m
      Antony - £50m
      Sancho - £50m
      Macguire - £30m
      McTominay - £30m
      Bailly - £10m

That’s about £250m then least we should expect from owners is about £300m

Make a last ditch attempt to persuade Mbappe. If he’s 100% on Madrid and that’s not realistic then just take Saka off Arsenal (can make them take Rashy as part of the deal). Then we need a CM and a CF to take the pressure off Hojlund - maybe someone like Osminhen who is insane on FIFA

In a draft league so Arsenal players hard to come by. That being said, Tomiyasu is available, how many games do we think he start out of the last three? Or preferable to go for Emerson Royal with DGW in 37?

Pochettino on Nkunku and Colwill: "Finally they are so close to being available".

"Maybe for Sunday against West Ham, we hope they will be ready. But still, we will wait before we decide if they can cope with the competition".
