    Bottomed.

Pretty settled on this for now with WC GW 6 pencilled in.

    Sels - Fabianski
    Mykolenko - Robinson - Burn - VdV - Pau
    Salah - Son - Martinelli - CHO - Winks
    Haaland - Isak - Muniz

    GW 2 - Save
    GW 3 - VdV + Son ➡ Palmer + Faes
    GW 4 - Martinelli + Isak ➡ Watkins + Mitoma
    GW 5 - CHO ➡ Brereton Diaz
    GW 6 - WC

Martinelli is the only concern. Can become Eze but I want an Arsenal attacker for the first 3. Attack is sorted and defensive rotation is a treat.

Planned transfers rarely work but better to have a plan than none.

    Have I cracked it? 🙂

Hm, I can see it. Not sure about CHO. I'd rather have ESR. Get Eze for Martinelli as I can see him outscoring easily

None out there with better fixtures than CHO for 5.5m

Martinelli vs Eze will go down to the wire. It will ultimately depend on how much per season Eze gets. You may have noticed that all my picks have pre season minutes under their belt

First cut. Ney haaland or salah eek

    Pope - turner

Gvadiol- martinez- vdv - colwil - Clarke
Foden- palmer- saka -mbuemo - garnacho
    Watkins - isak- cunha

Cunha. Great choice. First team I seen him in, he's now back in my team as at least 1 guy agrees on his ability for that sacred forward spot.

PS I currently have Richarlson in there. Hmm

Too many uncertainties in this team for me. Cunha injured and awful opening fixtures and Turner will quickly drop to 3.9 m given high ownership so would pick a lower owned 4 m bench keeper. Watch for news on Foden as Pep said Euro players will miss Community Shield so minutes in first fixture may be limited- similarly check that Saka Palmer Garnacho all likely to start as all late back after Euros/Copa

Thoughts? Any changes to be made?

Purposely went for 4.5m defence line with attacking fullbacks.
Also, went with Haaland over Salah, can't have them all.

    Flekken, Vlad
    Henry, Robinson, Davis, Myko, Livra
    Saka, Eze, CHO, Palmer, B.Johnson
    Haaland, Muniz, Isak

I do think there’s a lot of value if 4.5m DF’s but wouldn’t want x3 Brentford slots taken up - I’d change Henry

Had Salah in all Drafts but think Jota could offer great value:

    Raya 4m
    Gvardiol Porro Mykolenko Robinson 4m
    Saka Jota Eze Nkunku Hudson-Odoi
    Haaland Isak Muniz

    1. Bushwhacker

Jota is a bench player unless something changes. Nunez and Gakpo ahead of him for the main strike role, Diaz and Gakpo ahead of him for the left wing.

    1. Ze_Austin
      • 7 Years

I'd rather have Son for that GW1 fixture. No post-Euros fatigue/rustiness and facing a promoted side

      1. FPL Sanky
        • 2 Years
        1 year, 4 months ago

Ya that's a good plan as well....but I am already going with Johnson in GW1.... don't want a Spurs double up

        1. Ze_Austin
          • 7 Years
          1 year, 4 months ago

If you're locking in the plan to switch to Foden, you'll have a Spurs attacking double-up against a promoted side. Somewhat like a Free Hit

Unless you're also planning to sell Johnson soon

I see Saka as a long-term hold, rather than the explosive type for a single GW

            • 2 Years
            1 year, 4 months ago

I am planning to sell Johnson for Bailey in GW3 when Villa's fixtures improve..... planning a double villa attack along with Watkins from GW3 onwards.....but again you can't plan for injuries but as of now, that is my rough plan.
I can easily see ARS scoring 3 or 4 goals past Wolves and that's why I wanted Saka for GW1.
If I see Foden starting in GW1 (which is highly unlikely), then, I will have him from the start only

            1. Ze_Austin
              • 7 Years
              1 year, 4 months ago

              Okay, understood

Standard advice would be to plan a max of one transfer early in the season or just work around an early wildcard, but you've probably already heard/seen that a lot anyway

  16. adstomko
    • 9 Years
    1 year, 4 months ago

    Thoughts? No Salah nor Haaland:

    Raya
    Trent - Gvardiol - Porro
    Son - Ødegaard - Fernandes - Jota - Elliott
    Isak - Havertz
    (Fabianski - Livramento - Hall - Cannon) (2m ITB)

I plan to ‘transfer rotate’ the midfielders in the 8.5-10.5m price bracket, e.g:
    GW2: Ødegaard > Foden (C)
    GW3: Son > Palmer

So Palmer was the difference between an OK team and this beauty.

    Martinez 4.0
    Romero. Burn. Andersen.
    Salah Nkunku Szob Johnson
    Isak Havertz Haaland

    Elanga. Barco. Faes.

Personally I’d use it to upgrade one of your 4.5 defenders, probably Burn as not sure he’s nailed and I think lower ceiling than your others

Might also be worth checking for news on whether Mateta will come straight back in given he’s playing in the olympics and France could go the distance there

Thanks. Really good point about Mateta. What makes you think Burn isn't nailed? He got a lot of game time last season and can play LB or CB.

Mateta is almost sure to not be available Gw1...since you already have Eze, I suggest downgrade him to one of Wood/Muniz, or upgrade him to Isak since you still have 1mil in the bank..
Also, Madison is a player who returns in patches, so I suggest one of kulusevski/Brennan instead, and upgrade one of them 4mil defenders

Thanks. I think you're spot on about Mateta. Used the 1.0m and swapped him for Isak.

Considering swapping Maddison for Bowen or even Diaz. Liverpool have a pretty good set of fixtures to start off with.

For those looking at a cheap £4.5m GK rotation, look no further than Flekken + Henderson.

Two relatively solid defences with an incredibly appealing set of fixtures:

Sets you up really well till the first WC.

I swear the keepers score better in harder fixtures though, saves etc.
In easier matches always seem to concede randomly from like one shot on target

    Boring question, apologies.
    a. Which teams rotate best.

    Whats better A or B?
    A) Palmer, Foden, Muniz
    B) Nkunku, Smith-Rowe, Haaland

B, since I'm not sure about Palmer for Gw1, and Pep has almost confirmed that foden may not play gw1

Palmer will definitely play vs City

No way that Palmer misses GW1 unless he's injured

      B by a wide margin

Does anyone know how Smith-Rowe is going to fit in with Fulham's plans yet?

    Hey guys,

Pretty settled on the team below, need a vote on one combination... appreciate your help in advance!!

    Miguel/Sels
Burn (Gvardiol in gw2), Martinez, mykolenko
    Salah (c), Gordon, Mbeumo, Amad(punt)
    Haaland, Isak, Wood
    SUB: Valdimarsson, Nkunku, Robinson, Barco

    1) Stick to this big punt on Amad+Mbeumo
    2) Go for Eze+Rogers
    3) Go for Eze+Bailey and not book on the Gvardiol transfer

    Thanks in advance!!

If you punt on Budem+1.0ITB for GW1, why don't you just go for Porro instead?

        *Burn

2nd draft - what do you think lads?

    PIckford
    Porro, Gvardiol, Burn
    Salah, Palmer, Bailey, Gordon
    Watkins, Isak, Solanke

    Fabianski, Anderson, Faes, Winks

Don't have any Arsenal players or City attackers which is concerning, but I have ways to get them if any start firing.

Any concerns or ways to improve?

Liking the Bailey and Solanke picks.
Personally I would put the Watkins money in midfield, maybe enabling another premium like Son/Palmer/Saka

Trossard or Eze for the first 3?

Trossard mostly plays for 60-70 minutes and gets subbed.

Who plays in the front 3

      Martinelli
      Trossard

Trossard a no go. Even if he starts the season 1st choice, Martinelli and Jesus are lurking
