      Saka. ESR. Salah. Minteh.
      Solanke. Haaland.Isak.

Looks solid, Minteh a doubt though. He might be allowed to play, but can he train this week? Adingra is a solid back-up for Brighton, so wouldn't be surprised if he gets benched.

I do like Porro for his attacking threat. Akanji has a high clean sheet potential vs Ipswich, but the potential for Porro vs Everton is there.. If you like spectacle I would go Porro, if you're in to a safe bet, go Akanji

Thanks buddy. Yup convinced. Pedro. I think Minteh will be fine.

I think ESR and Minteh will score big this year - particularly for their price

I’ve got Minteh and I’m not so sure. I guess it just depends how cautious the club is around head injuries, even if he wasn’t actually injured.

So early to be hitting the WC but problems to solve - Quansah and Barco to name a few

    Thoughts:

    Hendserson 4.0
    Konsa Mazra Robinson Burn Lewis
    Salah Saka Eze ESR Rogers
    Haaland Havertz Wissa

I always believe it's wise to WC for second MD. Bar 2 weeks off due to euros, you get all the highest points. Not so much this year though. Hmm.

Best time to WC is 2 week break to maybe build team value. What's the point of WC after 1 week. How bad were starting picks? What previous overall winner WCed so early?

Can't be that bad to waste WC after 1 week of results. Last week's scores are gone

    For GW2:

    A) ESR

    or

    B) Minteh

    Any other suggestions?

So difficult! So I went with both. I see both being potential points stars this year. And Palmer to flop. Even Son to flop.

Only for this gw, ESR just because of the fixture, in general Minteh looks much better

What you think? I want to save at least a FT before I move. Reasonable?

    Sanchez
    TAA Hall Dalot
    Rashford Murphy Salah Nkunku
    Wood Isak Haaland

    Turner Rogers Zinchenko Barco

Rashford is screaming out at me, admittedly he's liable to suddenly hit form but at the moment he has the first touch of a brick wall.

Too many average picks in this mid/fwd bracket, need 3-4 changes there asap and your defense will soon may have only 2 starters TAA and Dalot. Difficult to escape the early WC with this team

        1. Hello Palou
            1 year, 3 months ago

Bit harsh, there are 2 players I wouldn't consider, Rashford and Nkunku. The keeper too but you can hold him for now.

No way is a WC needed.

I see your point but I want to try navigate until GW6-8 before WC.
Hope Zinchenko and Hall get at least 3 starts until then.
What 4.5 is your fav if I had to sell Hall?

If your team isn’t too bad then the fact that you can roll that many transfers and use 4-5 FTs together as mini WCs, gives you the opportunity to delay the WC till the latest first round PL games around gw 17-19.
This gives you the option to perfectly set up a WC BB combo later in the season.

Alternatively if you play it early, eg gw3. You should
theoretically be able to bank the fts immediately following your WC (at least a lot better than someone trying to not make transfers for the last 5 gws. Thereby reaching 5ft threshold as soon as potentially possible and without the greater risk of abstaining for last 5 weeks

how often did you get to 2ft's last year? I summise that this was not very. So chances of someone getting to 4-5 FT's because their team doesn't need any changes is highly unlikely unless player has a specific strategy to sit on a team for 4-5 weeks, getting less than optimal points along the way before going for mini wildcard, I think this whole 'svae up to 5 FT's is largely going to be a bit meh for most of the engaged players.

Anyone know why Gordon came off early.

I'd like to punt on him rather than Isak. I'll get welback in. Much better balance.

Is Gordon, gone as a player?

its like people completely missed schars red card on here and are judging isak and gordon without that caveat. it completely changed the game and blocked any hauls

            Total guess but :

            a) he's not up to speed yet

            b) they had 10 men for 40/45 mins before he was subbed so he was probably cream crackered.

Zinchenko to Rico Lewis? Likely going to WC around GW3/4.

Understood the rules.. but only just realised I can save 3 fts.. WC.. and then have 3 FTs for the week after WC which I can then carry forward every week thus removing all injury risks

People talking up Eze. I started with him last 2 seasons. 7 shots today I think was same amount last season vs Sheff U and then he had 1 goal 0 assists in first 7 games then out for 3. I'm worried he's over hyped

Good underlying data, unlucky he didn't get returns.

Also Glasner wasn't the manager until late last season.

7m midfielder, talisman, pens and set pieces - ticks all the boxes as an FPL pick.

Ideal to save transfers but Quansah going down in price is annoying.

Think Nkunku & Johnson should be fine luckily but may move Quansah out this week.

Captaincy GW2 is complicated for those with the 2 premium:

          B Haaland (H vs Ipswich)
