I think the gap used to be overblown, but now? I think the gap is massive, Jaf and the Champ is a great league as well.

Thing is, the likes of Palace/Brighton/Newcastle/Villa and beyond used to be teams the promoted sides could compete with. But now they're a closed shop, vastly improved and in contention for Europe.

If you have the top 8 and bottom 3 that leaves a paltry 9 slots for the football league clubs to convert themselves into Prem sides.

LiveFPL is confusing me. I am on 59, with 4 left. I have a green arrow and a 13% rank increase, but it says I am on a green arrow by a margin of 0?

Yea overall average is that. This however is relative to my own rank. But unless I am missing something, I must be in front by some points otherwise it wouldn't be a green. I do have a very low ID, but I am still 100k places up and that wont make that much difference.

Oh its not my low ID that has caused it. I think its because I have made 0 transfers since the start of the season, and I am placed higher ranked because of that over people with the same score and a higher ID. That might be why, but still seems way too big of a gap.

The only reason I had him in at the start of the game was the Ipswich fixture, the thinking was that I could get more points spreading the funds around, but none of the other premium strikers really inspire confidence at the moment so I might keep him longer term.

If you think Watkins fixture run could help kick start his form then maybe just make that move and hold off on the Foden move for the hit. Take another week to assess the situation and see if Foden starts next week. If you don’t think Watkins form improves with the fixtures, I would probably either look to roll this week or replace one of Quansah or Barco.

Wouldn’t touch Soucek, he will be rotated a fair bit. The midfields up in the air at the minute, Alvarez who was Rices direct replacement was injured on internationals with Mexico so it’s yet to be seen how well set up when he’s back fully (played 10 mins today & replaced Soucek)

I imagine we’ll play a double pivot, with Alvarez & Rodriguez holding, Soucek coming from the bench.

That holding duo above will definitely allow Bowen/Kudus to get forward more expansively though so they are the options to consider.

edit/ I would probably trade by TC right now for that hatti if I could. Sure we will have doubles, but it will be squeaky bum time beating that 17 and I would rather take the points and run.

Of course. Especially if it was a single GW BB. Using the BB isn't just about the returns that week. Not having to play it later allows you to do other things with your other chips. I played BB GW1 and only got 7 points but gained a further 5 this week by having Sels and hope it benefits me in chip season.

I was happy with a 17pt BB in GW1 and would take 15pts+ on a TC

Did you set up a 15 man team? Unluckily I had Quansah and Barco on my BB. Risky I know but I did correctly back those cleansheets.

Thank god I didn't BB this season. Have done so for the last 4/5 seasons. If I did, I am sure I would have had Barco and Quansah. I also would have had Kamada/Rogers/ESR etc who got nothing. It would have been a big fail for me. But I see many did well with BB in GW1.

Most that did well BB1 set up a team without Haaland so they either suffered today or played their WC. I didn't want to waste my WC early so had a cheap bench of Sels, Amad, Quansah and Barco. Didn't work but I'm fine with the decision.

Yea thats unlucky for you. And true, they probably struggled a bit today. Saw many earlier saying they were below 13, or had an amazing week last week and a terrible one this week.

    Will he rise tonight folks?

Have the exact money for him but can’t afford to wait

I'm keeping Bruno but if I had the funds I'd be tempted by that move tbh.

Which is the better move for replacing Dom with 2 FT and 1.0 ITB
Dom > Kai, roll 2nd transfer
Dom + Eze or Muñoz > Ollie + Rogers or Konsa

    Full team for reference:
    Pickford
TAA Porro Muñoz Robinson Ben Johnson
    Mo Saka Eze Jota ESR
    Isak Dom Joao Pedro
