Erling Haaland (£15.0m) stole the headlines on a busy day of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) action.

Captained by almost four million, Triple Captained by around 475,000 and not owned by 45% of FPL managers: it was a polarising day thanks to the Norwegian’s treble against Ipswich Town.

Son Heung-min (£10.0m) hauled in Tottenham Hotspur’s 4-0 demolition of Everton, while there were goals for budget-friendly picks Joao Pedro (£5.5m), Danny Welbeck (£5.5m), Emile Smith Rowe (£5.5m) and Morgan Gibbs-White (£6.5m) elsewhere.

And Arsenal did what Arsenal do, keeping a clean sheet on the road – even if they did ride their luck.

Marco Silva says that Fulham will sign another forward before the end of the transfer window.

The Portuguese head coach told his pre-match press conference this afternoon that he wants to replace the goal threat provided by Willian and Bobby De Cordova-Reid, who left the club earlier this summer.

Silva said:

“We are going to sign a forward player, for sure. You all know that we have lost two wingers and we haven’t signed any players for that position. We are going to sign a forward player.”

The wording of that comment does indicate that he's focusing on a winger rather than a centre forward but it's one thing to keep an eye on.

        I think I'm entitled, as we all are, to comment upon any points on this entire board – that is the point.
        On that basis, you're actually tying to ringfence your post, which is not how an open forum such as this works.
        
        My point was, I thought, fairly benign: you were asking what was 'wrong' with Watkins, having already suggested it was a mental issue.

        My opinion – I would love to get him into my team, all this early stuff is that he is just not fit yet. But my team has no spare money at all so will have to watch him score points, which I'm pretty sure he will from now on
