    A) Robertson, Luis Diaz, Mitoma, Isak (have him already)
    B) Quansah (have him already), Salah, (up to 6.3m, but who?), Pedro

Have Haaland. Got 3 FT to use. Trying to find a way to get Salah, but much prefer my team with only Haaland. What you think?

Havertz instead of Watkins and use cash to get a decent 1st sub. Rest is pretty good

Dilemma time for Eze, Isak and Bruno owners like myself. Been terrible picks. If they blank today, they all have good fixtures next week. So sell or not? Cant possibly sell when they face Leicester, Wolves and Southampton!?

Just keep, you will probably want to rage quit if you sell them all then they all score big that GW.

Yupp. Im usually patient. But I do remember I held Bruno and Rash last year for 10 game weeks. Waited for that juicy Sheffield game, and they basically gave me nothing.

Sure. It's all about timing in this game. His numbers look good, and he had a goal wrongly disallowed. Probably keeping for at least 2 more gws.

    Rate my wildcard team

    Martinez

    Lewis, Robertson, Dunk/Collins,

    KDB, Mbeumo,Palmer, Eze

    João Pedro, Haaland, Havertz

    Subs: Fabianski, Winks, Dunk/Collins, Keane

Plan is to have Robbo and Lewis start every game then rotate with the Brighton and Brentford fixtures for the third spot. Keane as a playing 4m for the fear of Lewis rotation

There's no reason to drop KDB when Foden is back when City are playing so well. There'll be plenty of fixtures in other competitions for Foden and other players to get minutes between now and Jan.

Your fixtures are delicious and I don't have a .5 to spare for a 5.5 keeper.

WCed out. I'm just gonna have faith Salah (c) can run him close over the next 4 weeks and if not, the extra funds spread across the team can chip in. Easy to get back with 4/5 FT in GW8.

I'll also just back him to score a hattrick again. Softened the blow a bit yesterday. £ > FPL points.

    Haaland (c) - Havertz - Muniz

    Dennis - Greaves - Sanagre - Harwood

Morning, slept on it and am going to WC, first 3 weeks went well but now it’s time to try and improve it more, the points are already in the bank.

Thanks to all those last night who I bounced off.

Had a play this morning on the app & GW4 WC rates at 99% so I’d have to be pretty unlucky to make things worse.

    The team would be

    Raya
    Trent, Robertson, Robinson
    Salah, Eze, ESR, Rogers
    Haaland, Watkins, Pedro

.8m in the bank to turn Salah & Pedro into Saka & Havertz when Arsenal play Leicester & Southampton.

Sticking to the pre season plan, avoided noise on YouTube and went my own way & it’s worked so trusting my strategy.

Feels very FH with most of their fixs that week

Why? Because they didn’t score points last week? Eze is one of the few players who’s looked good without scoring points, home games against Leicester & United then away to Everton are good fixs for an attacking player like him.

You’re clutching at a pattern from last year where he started under Hodgson, I’m more interested in patterns under Glasner, if he’s scores double digits today (like his play has deserved) your opinion of him with flip in real time.

I’m looking at Mitoma for the next 2/3 as well (with Eze not in place of) he’s been decent at the start.

Wood is my big dilemma on WC, he’s been great in these 3 weeks & his stats are up there, get past that Liverpool fix and his run is still nice, they didn’t sign a striker so he feels like a hard sell.

The question is, can he be improved on, if not, why sell?

9 points per goal is decent.

Not sure about a Palace win here. I imagine morale is pretty low in the players, considering the number of stalwart players sold in the last few weeks!

probably have to sacrifice Saka for Havertz & ARS DEF or Salah for Jota/Diaz & LIV DEF

      1. SalahFingers
        • 8 Years

Disagree. I only need 3/5 defenders each week, and with that selection, it'll be easy to pick 3. I'm only looking for clean sheets from them.

and I'd prefer Saka over Havertz. I'd prefer Salah over Jota. Liv def is far too expensive.

I'd pair Valdimarsson with Flekken to avoid the rotation headache. Looks a little lightweight at the back, but I guess that's the price you pay for those premiums. I don't get the growing trend towards relying on ESR & Rogers with UCL approaching.

      1. SalahFingers
        • 8 Years

Thta's a good idea. I did that with the 2 everton goalies in GW1, but that obviously didn't pan out.

The premiums mean I have to go cheap elsewhere. ESR and Rogers are just cheap enablers.

    6. Haa-lala-land
      • 5 Years

I'm not convinced ESR will ever be fit and able to play 90. He's a 60 minute man for life it feels! Prefer Semenyo despite the fixtures.

FPL this season looks interesting. I know Haaland delivers and everyone will own him soon but last season with Palmer at 5.5 every team had Saka Foden Palmer Watkins Haaland and it was so boring
This season you can't own them all, plus there is more value in defence with Arsenal def expensive. I think the whole season will go like this

    1. PogChamp
      • 14 Years

Yeah they've pulled their fingers out with the pricing, but no doubt a 5m enabler will emerge at some point.

I have gone back to 4.5m defence, and have Haaland, Salah, Palmer and Saka. The first three are season keepers, with an option to rotate Saka as and when. The value provided by the likes of Pedro help matters in squeezing them in.

He is my 8th attacker from the start of the season.
I give him the 2 home games to deliver, the fixtures are too good and he isn’t that bad

I understand going without and trying to get more premiums elsewhere but I don’t understand selling him on a wildcard after seeing how sharp he has started the season.

Maybe too early to make a judgement but I got swayed by being able to fit Salah, Saka, Palmer, Son, Watkins and TAA in my team.

Funnily enough, 10 mins before the deadline I was deciding between Haaland, Rogers and Lewis vs Watkins, Son and TAA. I went with the latter.

I would wait till the game tonight to make a decision

thing is, such are the prices atm, the like of TAA/Robbo must start delivering multiple clean sheets AND attacking returns to justify their inclusion. Clean sheets are very valuable and will be even more down the road, but atm, clean sheets from expensive defenders aren't enough. Mad as that sounds
