Is Haal worth it if I don’t already have him based on City’s lack of chances created post-Rodri? There are so many good 7.5-10m players to be had if leaving him out. Even having Salah instead of Haal leaves 3m which could be the difference between Trent and Wout Faes!

Haaland is worth it when he is the best captaincy option

Let's see it this way. Haaland is two mid priced players morphed into one. He singularly is expected to score the same or more than two 8 m attackers, over the course of a season. If you captain him every week, that will give you 25% of your total score for the season, by spending 15% of your budget. Hence his exorbitant price.

Haaland will be up there as one of the best points scorers at the end of the season for definite.

Ya mate, Trent Gabriel and either Saliba or Lewis. Most teams are conceding so will prob stick to playing 3 at the back. I have options this week in attack as well so benching headaches all round

No sign of KDB, Walker nor Akanji during our open 15 mins

Savinho & Ederson not back yet after playing for Brazil.

    3 FT & 0.2m ITB

    Sanchez
    TAA - Porro - Lewis - Konsa
    Salah - Mbuemo - Eze
    Haaland - Havertz - Welbeck

    Fabianski - Keane - Onana - Winks

Not sure how to best utilize the FTs - could do a simple Eze > Johnson and reassess next week

Hate the 4ATB setup. Konsa may not be available this weekend. Branthwaite back in training so Keane unlikely to start.

You need to downgrade to release funds and upgrade 4th midfielder

Salah plus Onana or Winks to Johnson plus Saka or Palmer maybe?

I need to make sure I have bench cover for Lewis (and possibly Robertson!) going forward and Konsa seems a doubt.

    Robbo Lewis Robinson Faes Konsa

Who would you replace him with in this defence? Have 1.4 itb but would rather use that for future midfield upgrades.

    Konsa to
    A Van De Ven
    B Aina
    C RAN
D other suggestion? (I have Flekken so I’ll avoid a Brentford defender)

        Reasons to not own Haaland

        1. You can spread the money and have less enablers in your team who are iffy and have more premium picks
        2. No Rodri (although I actually thought Man City moved the ball quicker to Haaland without Rodri which suited Haaland)
        3. No kdb (I firmly believe this is significant )
        4. A lack of consistent goals from elsewhere from Man City players making it more likely teams will double down on stopping Haaland 5. You like to live on the wild side

Reasons to have Haaland are so obvious there is no need to list them.

You can hope on and off him, GW13-17 don't look great, (for captaincy purposes only mind) when you could go Saka/Palmmer that week.

For me 3 on your list is the biggest factor),too, I think 2 is Man City's defensive setup in general.

I am still floating Foden idea around, but still not sure.

If you are not going to captain him for a run of games, that's when I may hop off.

Whether you have Watkins or not makes no difference. You owning him does not affect whether Sancho or Rogers scored more points which is all that matters.

I'd probably go Rogers also as he's more likely to get better minutes and has the better fixture although Fulham are no pushover

I'd want slightly better backup options than Greaves and Faes with Lewis beyond this week's fixtures so I'm not against Porro, given how nailed he is, the Spurs fixtures and that he has some attacking threat. He's pricey though so may hinder your Palmer move.
Have you considered RAN and benching for Greaves or Faes this week?
