Harry Kane at 4.5m could be a good shout. Tim Sherwood is really getting the best out of him.

For that price I'd prefer to go big in defence with Hermann Hreiðarsson

Real Madrid, Man City, Newcastle Southampton all in 8 days for pool. I could see some potential resting and rotation especially Vs Southampton with Madrid a couple of days later. 4 games in 8 days 3 big tough games could change alot

sure, as a numpty i own neither but haaland vs salah is just a captaincy battle. every week its the difference x2 so the discrepancies are really under the microscope

even if Haaland turned up the heat and went 54 points in his next 6, if Salah got 48-ish doubt non-haaland-ers would care much unless palmer/saka etc drop off a cliff.

once jota is back, can definitely see some more Diaz minutes at RW. theres a chance elliot as well comes back for minutes there, im sure Slot would like to have rested Salah abit more up until this point.

I think consensus has become he isn't worth it until he's regularly scoring multiple goals a game. That's generally what I've heard from sellers.

      1. Sharkytect
        • 11 Years
        1 year, 23 days ago

But you want to buy him BEFORE he is regulalrly scoring multiple goals in games. Not waiting until all those points have past...

        1. Tommy Template

For me it would take an injury to Salah or Palmer. Its not just about what Haaland does

            • 11 Years
            1 year, 23 days ago

Same for me to be honest. I've been without haaland all season and was tempted to bring in after his consecutive hattricks, but convinced myself otherwise on the above logic - those points were missed; I'd have been spending 15.4mil to and tear up my team to bring in someone who wasn't guaranteed to get multiple goals every game.

It's turned out alright since then!

    4. GreennRed
      • 14 Years

Depends how your team is doing without him and what changes would get him back in. Haaland has had brief out of form spells in his short City tenure. But City have never been as poor in Haaland's time there.

    Salah | Palmer | Bruno | Mbeumo | Rogers

Swap Udogie out for Van Den Berg at least.

Generally speaking, Defence & Keepers are weak, concentrate there if you can. Wood out is next but less a priority.

went back to check Arsenal's last 13 matches last season, and i know Arsenal were on a roll but Havertz got 9g 6a and thats the official stats so might've picked up some fpl assists along the way. a ppg around 6.1-6.4. hes been really hurt this season by the Odegaard injury, hes underestimated right now for sure imo.

but from that would probably just about take A though, Pedro is Rogers level bargain with pens now and tough to pass up on. and prefer Brighton's fixtures to brentford's now

Both, Bruno and Mbuemo have 2 good fixtures ahead and then not so good few...however, Bruno fixtures will improve after 3 GWs while Mbuemo's won't.
Pedro in for Wood might work if no new injuries for Pedro (he is made of glass).
      Risky but sound plan.

To be honest, the Cunha move isn't really necessary right now. You could play either of Rogers or Strand. But if you must, id bench Rogers for Cunha. It's a gamble though. Can see some bench points!

    Best keeper going forwards?

    1. Holmes
      • 12 Years

Raya among the premiums. Pickford in mid range and Sels among the bargains.

      I'm fairly happy with Pope.

      1. The Big Fella
        • 9 Years
        1 year, 23 days ago

I have Raya but struggling to justify him as nobody is keeping clean sheets and keeping him means I am 0.1m short of bringing in Palmer for Lavia and don’t want to sell any of my other forwards. I could do my 4m bench keeper to a 3.9m but seems like a waste of a transfer……

        1. Holmes
          • 12 Years
          1 year, 23 days ago

Raya's decent run of fixtures is starting now, so I wouldnt bother using a transfer here. 5 weeks down the line, if they are still not sorted, then get rid.

Maybe you can downgrade one of your defenders?

Also I started with Pope and was relatively happy but wanted to tap into the double Arsenal defence. That was a mistake.

I've had Pickford and Onana this season but in the wrong sequence tbf.

I also had Saliba over Gabriel reversing last season's sequence and losing out there. However, I'm not so gung ho on the Arsenal defence, they often seem to find a way to concede at home where they play more open football.

Nobody is talking about Evanilson up front everyone just using the same team, he’s actually a very good player and has been returning points too. Differentials is what makes the difference in FPl.. my team has no clone with other teams

I suppose we only have space for 3 forwards and when you have the likes of Isak, Jackson, Cunha, Raul, Wissa, João Pedro, Wood etc all doing well, most people are going with Semenyo instead

Yea true but he makes a very good differential seeing that everyone’s going for semeyo he points won’t make much difference also no one is talking about georginio in brighton I have him over Pedro.. my attack isak, wissa, evanilson I don’t have Mbeumo as I think everyone got him, same with cunha too..

My team has no clone either but that doesn't mean my core team is different from everyone.

In the end, its points that matters. 15pts from Evanilson is same as 15pts from Cunha. Differentials are only good if its working in your favor.

I have no clones either surprisingly. And I’ve been talking about Evanilson for weeks and weeks now btw.

He’s got returns in three gmws straight he’s a very good differential and Brighton don’t have the best defense either especially away From home

If you have him and no one is talking about him, then you should be happy

Maybe Wissa, maybe Rogers, maybe Raul, maybe Rowe.

Whole season I had to repair my team. This week is different and already a headache. Tough 1, as ESR was great last week and Rogers at home as well...

If I had to pick one, I would probably bench Wissa

Everton have improved defensively and Brentford are terrible away from home, so I would bench one of Mbeumo / Wissa.

Looks good. Rutter might be rotation risk now when J.Pedro is back. Think they compete for same spot.
Not loving Sanchez (but the fixtures are there)

Not a fan of rotating keepers. Particularly as you have Veltman is defence which suggests there could be gws with double Brighton defence. Just pick one and play them. Have you got value tied up in Virgil? Not sure he offers much more than Konate once you factor in Konate having missed the Ipswich clean and the extra apperance points there and Brighton. Thats a big saving between those two changes. I'd use that to get an Arsenal defender if possible

Only 1 of your Brighton picks is nailed. I expect Rutter's mins to drop off with Pedro back. Not sure about Veltman but could see Kadioglu playing RB now they're getting more options fit at RW

Isn't it a year since Chelsea kept a clean sheet at home?

      Or something silly like that...

Team and rank is a trainwreck, 0 rank movement in the past 2 weeks so currently at 2,6m. Worst start to a season I've had in 20 years of FPL. 2ft and 0.3itb

    Fabianski
    TAA* Gabriel Porro
    Palmer* Mbeumo Gordon* ESR
    Haaland Solanke Raul

    Flekken; Roges, Mykolenko, Greaves

Thinking something like TAA*, Gordon* and Solanke -> RAN/Colwill, Bruno and Isak. Sound decent? Not making any transfers obviously before int break is over.

I'm not sure about Bruno, I'd like to see how he plays under Amorim before buying him.
Also, I'd be tempted to keep Trent, assuming he is healthy of course. Keeping him for so long only to sell him before Soton would be a shame.
If you need to free up funds you could do something like Solanke to Pedro.
Porro is another waste of time, so I'd be looking for a chance to get rid of him, too.

In my last sentence I meant Porro is a waste of money, not time.

Not convinced by the Sa pick, he's one game from being dropped. The rest looks good.

Got fabianski to rotate with him. I can upgrade Sa to Kelleher or Verbrughen.
