    Raya
    Trent Hall Gabriel
    Salah Palmer Bruno Sarr Rogers
    Jackson Isak
Bench: Virginha Pedro Ait-Nouri Van Den Berg

Got 3 free transfers and 0.0 in the bank.

    Thinking –

    Jackson + Pedro + Sarr – OUT

    Wissa + Gakpo + Semenyo – IN

    Or

    Pedro + Bruno - OUT

Plan to bench Semenyo for two games in any case.

    My FPL Wizards!

I've had Wood since GW 9 and he has been splendid for me. But I've got an inkling that his form is about to drop (saw the last match and it was quite fortunate he got a goal and assist).

I'm thinking of swapping him for Mateta and bringing in Gakpo for Wissa so that my front 3 would be: Isak, Gakpo, Mateta.

Anyone else jumping off the Wood train while everyone is piling on?

Will be prioritising other transfers over him so won’t quite be selling just yet.

He will be taking 1st seat on the bench this week though and don’t see him moving from there for a few GW’s to come. Could become a sell fairly soon, yes.

I think he’s been overperforming per the chances afforded and I don’t see much joy vs Bournemouth away, if any at all.

Simply put, I have a decision to make this week with who to bench and I’d rather play Wissa and Roger’s ahead of him.

I posted the same yesterday. The stats show he has been very very fortunate. Not challenging his capability here btw. Eye test backs it up. Most good runs come to an end. Moving to Gakpo. Used the comparison tool here too….backs it up. DGW coming up too.

Ya exactly this. Might totally backfire but time and time again whenever masses start bringing in a player, their form drop off. Not saying it's causation but it's more correlation because most tend to chase points and a player's form goes through cycles (masses tend to come in at the peak of a cycle)

Happens every year. The second someone suggest moving a regular scorer out due to eye test and stats you tend to get piled on. Not really happening with Wood but I do think there some blinkers on with him.

He is a great pick tbh. This is not the first time that I write, that I will most likely do Isak + Choudhury -> DCL + Mbeumo in GW24 when rocking the AM-chip.

The only thing making me unsure is the fact, that it is after GW24 and before 25 that we know the outcome of the cup and the BGW29.
If someone guarenteed me, that Newcastle will knock out Arsenal, then those transfers are locked in!

Even if they stay in roughly the same position, you're still reliant on draws or wins against the likes of Newcastle, Man City, Chelsea, etc for the table bonus to apply.

I'm going to target the easy wins and potential for big scores via the safe option (Slot probably).
