    Flekken
    Gabriel, TAA, Robinson
    Salah (C), Palmer, Mbeumo, Rogers
    Isak, Pedro, Gakpo

Fabianski, Sarr, Van Den Berg, Greaves

    Which option?

A Flekken and Gakpo to Pickford and Ndiaye AM Slot
B Flekken and Gakpo to Pickford and Wissa AM Slot
C Flekken and Greaves to Pickford and Mykolenko AM Moyes

It could be Arsenal and Chelsea if Arsenal can recover at Newcastle

It will definitely be either Liverpool and Villa or Spurs and Fulham depending on the result at Anfield.

The most likely outcome but far from guaranteed is just Liverpool and Villa double

    A - Alisson > Pickford & AM Slot for -4
B - No hit and AssMan Moyes
    C - TC Salah
D - Wait and reassess fixtures in GW25

    Allison
    Gabriel - TAA - Milenkovic
    Salah - Palmer - Gordon - Amad
    Isak - Wood - Wissa

    Dubravka - Munoz - Sarr - O'Shea

B looks better then you can play into which gw25 double

You could hit to Slott and they have just the Wolves match at home

After all, the Liverpool game is Ange and Spurs's season in a nutshell

Other than a FA Cup run or something in that Europa competition

      1. Jet5605
        • 11 Years

Thanks. Yeah if Spurs get to the EFL final then taking a -4 to AM Slot this week will be a waste.

In your case B as you would be able to get Emery Ange or Silva next week for free
If you went A and Liverpool didn't double you could just switch Slot to someone who does

Thanks - makes sense. Slot has a tough double this GW anyway and the risk of them not doubling in 25 is putting me off a -4

Slot could very easily outscore Alison by 4 this week alone, for example with a pair of 2-1 wins.

Newcastle aren't in Europe and it does seem to be that those who could have doubled them don't

FA Cup semi final blanks are gw34 so the conventional thinking is that those fixtures double in gw36 I think

    3. The Mentaculus
      • 4 Years

Blanks from 34 (FA Cup SF) can go in 33 / 36 apparently. But that's really all hearsay from Crellin & co who didn't anticipate DGW25 so who knows...

I doubt they would bring it forwards to gw33.

        A postponement normally pushes back.

There's so many European games tho that means pressure free weeks in a 38 game season.

    For context I currently have;
    Salah, Gakpo, Trent, Pickford, Rogers

    [Option 1]
    GW24: Moyes AM.
    GW25: Moyes/Isak > Emery/Watkins (-4)

    [Option 2]
    GW24: Slot AM & Gakpo > Wissa (-4)
    GW25: Isak > Watkins

For both options, I take 1 hit either way - just it's either this week (if going Slot), or next week (if going Moyes & switching after).

Wissa could be Ndiaye, but Wissa feels better for longer and I'd want to play him.

2 of those. Personally I'm not going to sell Gakpo for Slot, but I still think Slot 24-5 is much better than Moyes/Emery (would rather chase bonus in later DGWs than take on Liverpool).

Also been looking at WC27 & it's actually not bad if you want to overcommit to Villa then WC into a City-heavy team that can also cover GW29 (I have played my BB already though which might be a significant factor for earlier WC)

I think if you have a Liverpool defender/keeper (maybe not Trent) its pretty much a no brainer get rid and get Slot. Not seen it discussed much but a Liverpool clean for an individual defender playing 90 with no bonus is 6, the assman for a clean scores 5 points for a draw and at least 9 points for a win. Maybe gets trickier if taking hits but generally the upside of a Pool defender over assman is not there.

    1. Nightcrawler
      • 6 Years
      10 months, 7 days ago

ur not factoring in those with TC too

also. assman is the chip with the highest ceiling overall. removing a defender/keeper for slot might get u a few extra points (and an extra transfer used) but not enough to make the chip a success

only way it works is pool concede and still win but then in that cas salah TC might hurt

      1. Tommy Template
        • 11 Years

I'm not factoring in TC true. But what I am telling you is if its off the table and you're sat on Virgil or Konate with no goal threat and thinking great gets some clean points.... so does Slot - pretty much the same for a draw and more for a win.

On 3 liverpool and really cant see me removing one for Slot. If I had only two Id do it in a heartbeat.

Also wouldnt sit right with me removing a dgw player, activating AM on a team you want to win and score lots of goals, but you just removed a player from.

Would AM on Slot teams be happy with a Liverpool win, when Gakpo scores 2g for example...?

Really is doing my head in this chip.

Depends who your 3rd pool player is. I removed Diaz for Slot. If I had Gakpo as 3rd, I’d be more hesitant

        • 6 Years

True. But I can see Diaz do as well as Gakpo tbh. Maybe a defender I would change for free (because I dont see a cs in bou game), but then again not when its TAA...

Really wished we had the news sooner before i used up 2ft on getting Gakpo!

I've got Diaz and just £0.7m itb

But I still don't want to do it for a hit

I'd rather gamble on Moyes then take stock next week

Look to downgrade Pedro or someone else for a dgw player and extra budget for a manager switch

        Take the hit that way

    2. Tommy Template

Is one of them a defender (not Trent)? Their cleans could be significantly diminished by assman anyway

Yeah, but Trent. If it was any other defender Id maybe be inclined to remove (for free). Maybe he gets zero cs, but still, cant remove him personally

      • 6 Years

if u have 3 pool its a no brainer to stick with them

assman is the highest ceiling chip and those using it on slot dont really have much of an edge if u have 3 pool especially wiht tc

        • 6 Years

I do agree sticking with 3 liv seems better, but with only 2 I think the AM has more potential in next 3gws than the TC though.

You can't really say that because traditional FPL relies on the lottery of player points

The AM is just a team and score play

pool have predictable fpl scorers though. there is a very high chance assman on slot gets u very little extra points

Was in the same boat, removed gakpo for wissa for -4. If Liverpool beat spurs then 5 guaranteed games for slot whilst gakpo might get rested in a game or 2 or not even score, etc. I'm guessing approx 35-40 points for slot over the 5 plus maybe 12 over the next 2 games for wissa. Whilst gakpo potentially looking at maybe 15 for the 5 games. Hoping my theory works haha

I understand the point, but its (in both options) a lot of if or donts...

But I would be more upset if i remove Gakpo and he hauls, than the other way around ( not removing and AM doing better)

Is Wood & Robinson > Ndiaye & Myk for -4 to get Slot AM worth it? 2 Extra games + Slot AM

    Slot
    Raya ( Fab )
Virgil Robinson Aina ( Kerkez / VDB )
Salah Rogers Palmer Mbuemo ( Sarr )
    Delap Isak Wood

    1 FT / 1.2 ITB

    Do :

    A ) Delap > Ndayei
    B ) Raya > Pickford
C ) Roll and have 2 FT for the break period to transfer a player and Slot if needed ? Delap is playing Southampton (H)

    Benching headache:
    Raya
Gabriel, Aina, Hall, Konate and Robinson.

    Who do I bench?

Currently got Robinson and Gabriel on the bench, in that order. I think City will score (even if they do not win) and I already have Raya in net. Newcastle are on good form and at home, so playing Hall over Robinson.

    Really need some advice here:

    Sels
    Saliba-Hall-Aina
    Salah-Gordon-Mbeumo-Palmer
    Wood-Isak-Cunha

    Sanchez-Semenyo-Faes-Kerkez
    0,3 itb - 3ft

Really 0.3m itb? Hard to see where the money's gone such that you can't afford Saliba - TAA.

Last dilemma, is Ndiaye in for J.Pedro worth a -4? Would mean benching Amad if so.

    Thanks!

I think so. Last week, everyone was clamouring for Gakpo and I don't think that's changed
