Good morning all. Can you help pick one from each please?

    A) Start Robinson
    B) Start Kerkez
    - - -
    1) Play Rogers
    2) Rogers > Kluivert (-4)

@avfc82 I've got Nwaneri 2nd bench behind Robinson. Making my doubt myself now.

    Pickford
    TAA, Munoz,Gabriel
    Kluivert, Salah, Palmer, Dango
    Wood, Wissa, Isak

    Sels, Robinson, Nwaneri, Huijsen

I'd perhaps start him over Dango, but maybe see what Iraola says later on re Evanilson.

Bump him up? I'm delaying my Cunha - Wood move til next week because I don't think I'd start him over Nwaneri. Think you could also make a case for benching Dango (personally I expect Evanilson up top so between Brooks/Tavernier/Dango for the final wing spot

No I have Haaland / Marmoush / Cunha at the moment. Probably end up doing Cunha - Wood next GW then Wood - Isak

            Okay.

Which do you think is stronger?

            A. Haaland, Semenyo, AWB

            B. Marmoush, Palmer, Gvardial

There would be defensive options and an 8th attacker if Marmoush doesn't feature.

A for me. I'd want Haaland for captaincy in 29 & 30, and I also feel like we're so close to Liverpool having wrapped up the league that heavy rotation is going to kick in soon, the performance level might drop a bit, and we might even see Salah benched around UCL. So I think even beyond the next couple weeks I want to have someone else I can turn to for captaincy, and I feel like City are getting through their slump & I just trust Haaland a lot more than Palmer.

That's a fair point on Liverpool but other than cup rotation they'll likely not wrap up the league until gw34/35.

Then Salah could be rested further if they progress in the Champions League.

I sort of said I'd go all season without Haaland, and despite starting with Palmer those first 5 weeks hurt my FPL rank.

One of my first principles is that you can change your mind!

              I prefer B.

You could regard Palmer as a Saka placeholder if his form doesn't improve.

It's just the potential minutes issue with Evanilson back. If he starts he's a great option.

Not got a WC left but going Haaland.
Wait to see the fallout of the blanks/doubles in 33 and 34, and how Saka is when he comes back, but could switch to Saka after that perhaps. I'd want Haaland for 33 if he doubles

Good morning, any advice on where to go here:
    Pickford, Fab
    Konate, Saliba, Huijsen, Milenkovic, VDB
    Palmer, Salah, Foden, Rogers, Kluivert
    Isak, Gakpo, Wood
    5ft, 1.1itb
Rogers, VDB and Gakpo are probably going but for who?
    Bowen and Wissa?

Depends what chips you have left and when you expect to play them.
Assuming no FH29 and you still have your WC then maybe getting haaland for gw29 and gw30 could work well. Would probably mean selling palmer though.

    Pickford
    Aina, Gabriel, Van Dijk
    Palmer, Salah, Kluivert, Mbeumo
    Isak, Wood

    Vald, Greaves, *Cunha, *Hall

    1FT 0.2 ITB

    Will hold for now:

    GW 32 TC Isak
    GW 34 FH

    2. Hall + Cunha -> Myko/Williams + Wood/Marmoush -4
    3. Just change Hall this week- Myko prob best..

    Raya.
    TAA, Gabriel, Robinson.
    Salah, Mbuemo, Bowen, Palmer, Nwaneri.
    Beto, Isak.
    Pickford, Greaves, Cunha, Hall.

It seems Wissa is a popular replacement for Cunha! However, Bournemouth plays Brentford in week 29! Since I have 3 Bournemouth players and Mbeumo in my squad already, do you agree it is a bit stupid to get Wissa in my squad and hence, essentially putting my week 29 fate on just one fixture which is not really a great fixture?

Ie while there is a high chance Wissa will do well for Week 28, the rational approach for me should still be to get in another player like eg Beto/Marmoush instead of Wissa?

    Pickford (Fab)
    Aina Gabriel Hall (Keane Zabarnyi)
    Palmer Salah Dango Mbeubo (Rogers)
    Gakpo Isak Wood

2 FTs, £2.2m ITB. Still have WC, FH, BB and TC.

Was thinking Hall to Munoz but now considering Hall to Gvardiol instead as the plan is to keep my FH for GW34 and make it through GW29 just using 2 FTs. WC will likely be GW30 or GW31.

    Thoughts?

Agree with Hall to Gvardiol if not using FH in 29.

Cheers. My other thought was doing Hall to RAN, as in theory I could do Salah and Gakpo to Haaland and Bowen in GW29 with my 2 FTs.

If I do Gvardiol this week the GW29 swap is exact money, meaning that if either Haaland or Bowen go up in value between now and GW 29 I would be screwed!

Am now edging towards RAN but am also acutely aware that I might be overcomplicating things...

    Best move here?

    A) Cunha >> Wissa (means losing Isak in 29)

    B) Roll

    C) Something else

    Pickford
    TAA • Gabriel • Robinson
    Salah • Mbeumo • Kluivert • Palmer • Dango
    Isak • Wood

    Vlad / Greaves / Hall* / Cunha*

I am just short Cucerella 5.1m - Colwill boring but 4.4 - would you gamble on Reece James @ 4.8m (who I can afford)

Eddie Howe on Alexander Isak... "He's fine. He came off (on Sunday) feeling fatigued, a tightness in his body. But he's trained every day this week"

Aye he's fine, he can rest nicely on the bench at the weekend.

    Which one sounds more sensible?

    1. Bet on both Dango and Isak starting, keep FT
    2. Cunha to someone and start Isak or Dango

      2 and bench Dango IMO.

Isak owners, are you happy to keep it looking elsewhere now?

Yup, nice soft cushion on bench next week to chat with Salah.

Selling for Haaland next week, either on WC or normal transfer

Will get him back if it's the latter on a 30 WC

Will have 3 FTs next week now, leading to a tough decision

    A) take a -4 (4 transfers), 10 players including Haaland(c)

    B) WC next week and bank the 3 FT. 11 players, no hit

The obvious downside for B is not fully knowing the DGW, but with BB already I can take a gamble

The upside is that WC 29 and 30 teams are pretty similar

A seems sensible. The time will come where you will be glad to have saved your WC IMO.

Wan-Bissaka or Ait-Nouri to replace Hall?

Ait-Nouri feels like the obvious choice vs Everton and Southampton but with Newcastle's growing issues is Wan-Bissaka a good choice? He also plays against Everton in 29?

Wan-Bissaka also allows me to bring Gvardiol in for 29 and keep TAA to have both of them in 30 vs Leicester and Everton

Ait-Nouri feels like better fixtures - Wan-Bissaka feels more sensible for the overall team improvement?

Anybody here thinking of using their TC on Salah this week? I’m in Teo minds whether to use it now or wait and save it for a potential DGW elsewhere. Thoughts?

Save. PSG second leg could affect his minutes.
