Afternoon all. WC now or GW31? 0FT and 1.3m ITB. If stick worth -4 for Haaland > Mateta?

    Pickford
    Kerkez - Colwill - Robinson
    Bruno - Kluivert - Bowen - Salah
    Wissa - Marmoush

    (Turner) - Haaland - Castagne - Agbadou

Your biggest issue is how much your rank could be decimated by a big Palace win. However, many are shifting away from Bournemouth as they head towards a template team of 2-3 players from each of Arsenal, Palace, City and Newcastle, plus Salah, which will be the starting point of your WC in a week anyway. The biggest scorers for me this week I expect will be Salah, Marmoush, Mateta, Sarr and Kluivert. You could get a team with most of these in.

The other huge worry is that I don't see a lot of points in your defence. WC teams will invariably have 2-3 Arsenal players. One clean sheet there could be a very painful way to start the GW.

Very valid points there. Rumours of Kluivert missing game now so may make sense to WC today

Could just do Kluivert > Sarr/Eze(?) for a hit and be good for this week imo. Next week you’ll know more and dgw33 fixtures will be definite as opposed to ”only” highly probable

If you want Bruno this week stick

Otherwise hit it and spend the Haaland money and punt that Saka hits the ground running!?

    Which one?
    AM31 FH34 BB36

    1) Alisson Sels Livra Konsa (open for Arteta AM DGW33)
    2) Raya Sels Livra Konsa
    3) Raya Areola Livra Milenkovic
    4) Raya Areola Trippier Konsa

    Bottomed:

    WC30, TC32, BB33, FH34:

    WC-team (0.3 itb):
    Raya

    Gabriel, Munoz, Gvardiol
    Salah, Eze, Palmer, Bowen
    Mateta, Marmoush, Isak

    Areola - Burn, Konsa, Rogers

Plan Palmer to saka in gw33

    Some input please:
    - Put a Newcastle-guy in for Bowen/Konsa/Rogers? Hwo?
    - Downgrade Eze to Sarr?
    - Downgrade Bowen to Kluvert (good for gw 30).
    - Will a potential downgrade free up funds for an upgrade somewhere else? Suggestions?

I'm not a fan of planning a transfer at the moment. I've simply put Saka in already. I expect both him and Palmer will score 2-6 points this week, but it could go either way. They're both on the edge of injuries so could have reduced minutes.

The knock-on effect of booking in a transfer now is having one less to deal with BGW 37, which will potentially be just as hard to navigate as BGW 34, but without the free hit. I'd much rather have as many transfers as I can get to by GW36 so I can maximise both weeks with FTs. Some of my rivals will still have AM to play at that point so I'll need all the help I can get.

Marmoush v Mateta (1GW only, WC31) is a tough call and probably be on the wrong side of the outcome.

Market projections favour Marmoush/City but Southampton are weak in the central areas.

    - Man City and Palace are projected to score 3.00 and 1.85 goals respectively
    - Marmoush and Mateta are projected 0.82 and 0.61 goals respectively

    *projected scores taken from Robt

FPL points scores of strikers against Southampton, last 8 games:

    GW29 - Larsen - 13
    GW28 - Nunez - 10
    GW27 - Neto - 11
    GW26 - Pedro - 12
    GW25 - Dango - 7
    GW24 - Delap - 8
    GW23 - Isak - 13
    GW22 - Wood - 12

If he misses Ipswich and has no double, then suddenly he’s not an option on the WC.

You can transfer assistant manager and get Howe and then for example Arteta in 33, or just go with Glasner and potential bonuses for both 32 and 33

    2. Tonyawesome69

      Howe now is fine

      Especially with a TC32

Otherwise you can play it 31-33 for the double double with transfers

Howe may well outscore Glassner anyhow.

Torn between Marmoush and Mateta in for Wood for this GW. Will bring the other in next week for Wissa on my WC.

Marmoush has no fitness concerns, plays at home to a team that leaks goals for fun, SHOULD start now that Haaland is out for almost 2 months (never know with Pep though)

Mateta is a talisman and will definitely start, in good form for a team in form, plays the worst team in the league (albeit away from home), is usually involved somehow with the goals (City goals can come from anywhere)

I was thinking this and I have dropped from around 90k to 300k in recent weeks so a punt could help recover lost ground but if Palace score big I will drop like a stone. Could also do a -4 but seems excessive when I will use my WC next week

Finally figured out my wildcard dilemmas. BB32 is just easier to handle in terms of planning so going that route.

Last dilemma. Kluivert vs Savinho. Kluivert obviously the better asset and a great initial fixture, but then feels surplus to requirements.

Is Savinho worth a punt or do I book in a precious transfer in 33 to see which city player looks most nailed at that point?
